Marche Wedding & Event Venue

I wish I could give this venue 5 stars because it truly is a stunning location. It's hands down one of the most beautiful places in New Orleans to get married. The ambiance is airy, elegant, and perfectly blends classic New Orleans charm with modern touches. The views are breathtaking, and the food was absolutely exceptional. I wish I could say this venue deserves 5 stars because my wedding day was the best day of my life. However, our experience with the Sales Manager, Emily, left a lot to be desired. From the beginning, communication with her was a challenge. She was incredibly difficult to reach, and we struggled to coordinate a time to view the venue. When we finally managed to schedule a visit, we were disappointed to find that Emily simply unlocked the doors and left us to tour the space on our own. There was no guided walkthrough, no formal introduction, and no effort to answer our (very simple) questions. It felt like we were more of an inconvenience than potential clients about to invest $30,000 for a four-hour event. It was disheartening, especially as an excited couple eager to plan our big day. In contrast, other venues we considered treated us with enthusiasm and genuine hospitality. For instance, at The Jaxon, the owner personally gave us a two-hour tour, offered us drinks, and thoroughly answered every question we had—even though their pricing was more affordable than Marché. Despite these experiences, we ultimately chose Marché for our wedding. However, the disappointments didn't stop there. Leading up to our event, Emily’s communication was inconsistent, and there was no formality in guiding us through the process. We weren’t informed about the next steps as a couple—there was no clarity on when to schedule our tasting or any effort to alleviate the uncertainty we were feeling. It seemed like she was disengaged, leaving us to take the steering wheel and figure things out on our own. Additionally, as we just paid our final balance, Emily failed to inform us of the 3.5 % credit card charges, which could have been eliminated by informing us that we can pay ACH. This is could have been easily prevented by informing us as the customer, but clearly once again Emily is very disengaged. On a positive note, I must acknowledge Wallace, who I believe is the food manager. He was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about his work. If Marché wants to improve its reputation, they should consider putting someone more like Wallace in the sales role - to provide a more exceptional customer facing experience. Once again, overall, while the venue itself is breathtaking and the food outstanding, the lackluster customer service we experienced from Emily significantly detracted from our overall experience. I hope Marché can address these issues, as they have so much potential to be truly five-star.

The Marche Service was very professional by Wallace. The Servers were caring, polite, professional. The food presentation was Excellent and it was Hot and best of all delicious. The room itself was very classy clean lots of windows and light by the Mississippi River. We couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Marche was such a beautiful wedding venue!! It has incredible natural light and feels like you’re floating above the quarter and the river. We used one side for the ceremony and the other for the dinner reception. Emily and Wallace were great to work with. It’s the perfect location if you want to do a second line also because it has the quieter courtyard in front before going out into the quarter. We had 108 people and it felt like the right size venue for our guest count.

I cannot say enough about my daughter’s wedding at Marche’. The venue was beautiful, the food was amazing and the staff was top notch. The attention to detail by Wallace throughout the night was the best, and the way he and his staff catered to us and our guests could not have been better. Wallace made us all feel so special. We worked with Emily and were so taken care of from beginning to end. She was so patient and accommodating to my many changes through the planning process. We would do it all over again! The most perfect night…thank you Wallace and Emily!

We hosted a corporate event at Marche last night, and I can’t say enough about what an amazing venue it is! The staff is incredibly kind, professional, and efficient. The food was delicious and the drinks kept flowing. The rooms were so beautiful, and despite horrible weather conditions, our guests enjoyed themselves immensely! Many of them complimented the food and staff and told us how awesome the event was. We would recommend Marche to anyone planning a corporate event in New Orleans!

The BEST venue and the BEST staff. Particularly Emily and Wallace!!! Wallace took care of us and my family the entire night. He made us feel so special and constantly checked on us. Emily was always so responsive and answered all questions we had along the way. They both were beyond accommodating and kind. We could not have picked a better venue!!!

The Marché is the most stunning venue in the BEST location of the French Quarter! The views are incredible! You get the beautiful old roof lines and balconies with peaks of the historic St Louis Cathedral, the majestic MS River with the Crescent City Connection, and a city skyline. Inside, the venue is just the classiest French colors and decor. You really don’t need to bring in a bunch of decorations or flowers. The staff was incredible and so attentive, and the food and drinks were 5 star!!! There’s nothing I’d change about my wedding! Marché made our day the dreamiest! We will never forget how wonderful our wedding was! Book your wedding at Marché!

Our daughter had an epic destination wedding reception at Marche last weekend and I don’t use the word ‘epic’ lightly!! Marche checked all the boxes - location, views, top tier food quality, professional service, high quality everything!! We looked in 3 states for venues, researched many in New Orleans and finally landed on Marche. My daughter knew it was THE place the first time she saw it and I’m so glad I trusted her. Marche was magical, timeless and classy. When I met Wallace Lee on our first tour he gave me his cell phone number and told me if we had any questions to call or text. When you get his number, text early and often if you need any quick responses. I wish I had texted him more in the earlier stages when I had some questions that weren’t answered as quickly as I would have liked. I didn’t want to ‘bug’ him, but I learned he is sincere when he says, text me anytime! Wallace was the consummate professional and was there to take care of all of the personal details. His calming demeanor, servants heart and warm smile will decrease your blood pressure and heart rate instantly!! All of the staff members that helped us that evening were professional, attentive and had smiles on their faces! If you are choosing New Orleans for your wedding location, take my advice and save yourself some time- book Marche now!!

Just finished a reception there for my daughter. It was outstanding. Beautiful place, excellent food and incredible service. Wallace is awesome to work with and just a terrific person. Highly recommend them and get with Wallace early on. He'll make it happen.

We are so so glad we picked Marche for our wedding venue. We looked at many other venues and we couldn't be happier with our wedding day. The venue was absolutely gorgeous at sunset for our ceremony with the floor-to-ceiling windows. The balconies were beautiful and so unique to New Orleans. The Dutch Alley for cocktail hour was so great and gave the guests a nice place to enjoy outside. The staff at Marche were very accommodating and helpful both on wedding day and the weeks leading up. The food was also delicious and we were able to select from a wide variety of buffet tables to include for our big day. Lastly, Marche doesn't have a noise ordinance/curfew and we were able to take march the second line through Bourbon Street.

My daughter got married this past weekend at Marche. Wallace was amazing to work with. The food was delicious. Wallace went above and beyond to make sure that everything that we asked for happened. Beautiful venue.

Mr Wallace Lee and Ms Emily R were amazing. We had a fantastic experience from start to finish! The food was amazing, the view was spectacular, and the staff were all helpful and very accommodating! We had a wonderful time and all of our friends and family have been raving about how amazing our party was. I highly highly recommend this exceptional venue and the staff was amazing. They really took us in and made us feel like family. I hope to see Wallace and Emily again very soon.

We cannot begin to say enough kind words about the entire Marché staff, the venue, the food, just everything!! Wallace is beyond one of the kindest, most genuine people I have met and was such a wonderful person to work with! He went above to make sure every one of our needs was met, especially on our wedding day. He (and the entire staff) made sure not only my husband and I were taken care of all day, but that all of our family was as well. I didn’t have an empty cup the entire time! From the first time we visited, we knew Marché was the perfect venue for our wedding, not just because of how beautiful it is, but because how kind and considerate everyone we worked with is. The food was absolutely outstanding - our guests are still calling us about how great it was! I could not recommend a better venue for any event you are hosting. More importantly you will meet and make a life long friend and all around wonderful person in Wallace Lee! Wishing we could experience our day all over again and would book this venue again and again! After touring literally every venue in NOLA for our destination wedding, we found Marche. We toured and knew immediately it was the place for us! But what truly made our wedding absolutely OUTSTANDING was their Director of Operations Wallace Lee. Wallace, leading his team, went above and beyond. Since it was a destination wedding, we had to do a lot of work via email with a few on-site visits. He was exceptional through and through, and it felt like we hired a personal wedding planner. Day-Of, the event was flawless because of Wallace. It was a truly unforgettable experience and we cannot thank the team, under Wallace's leadership, that made our wedding week unforgettable!

The Marche is absolutely beautiful! If the venue itself and all the views weren’t stunning enough, Emily, Wallace and his crew made this such a special occasion! My daughter, Amber and son-in-law Billy had their reception there on 6/17. We had several opportunities to visit the venue prior to the wedding and I can’t say enough about how professional and accommodating Wallace has been. He made sure we were all taken care of day of and at our food tasting. The Marche and all of the staff are amazing! Book it for your reception or wedding and you’ll be glad you did!

Marché was a dream venue in all ways! First and foremost, this is one of the most beautiful venues in New Orleans! The architecture and design is stunning and it has an amazing view of the Mississippi River. My local friends all said the food was fantastic as well. The team at Marche was very friendly and easy to work with. Everything went seamlessly!

Emily, Wallace and the entire team at Marche are absolutely incredible. I fell in love with the venue after only seeing it online and on Instagram. Let me tell you - in person, this venue is STUNNING! It has everything you need, including a private room for the bride and groom with private bathroom. The views in the main room show the river, downtown and the FQ on 3 sides, which is so representative of beautiful Nola. On the day of, the staff at Marche made sure us and our parents had everything we needed. They even took us into a private room during the cocktail time and made sure that we were able to eat all of the amazing food. We also had our rehearsal dinner at Tommy's Cuisine (same hospitality group as Marche). Our guests have not stopped raving about the food from Tommy's and Marche! I highly suggest booking Marche as your wedding venue, and my husband and I are so grateful to the team there for making our wedding day fun, easy and unforgettable!

Emily and the team were fantastic. From the rehearsal dinner on 11/5 to the ceremony and reception on 11/6/22, all the guest said the food was the best they have had. The staff was very friendly and made sure everyone had what they needed. On behalf of my beautiful wife and I…thank you so much for everything. Definitely choose this venue…it is beautiful.

My husband and I booked this venue prior to seeing it in person. While the pictures accurately portray the the beauty of the venue, it is much more stunning in person. We absolutely LOVED having our wedding (ceremony and reception) at Marche. The food was delicious, service impeccable, and location perfect. The private room in the side/back area was incredibly useful. The wedding party hung out there when they needed to take a break, and hubs and I were able to have a private dinner as well. As for pictures, we took photos in almost every corner of that venue and all the pictures were fabulous. I wish I could remember the names of the lovely folks who helped us at Marche at rehearsal and on wedding day but it has escaped my memory - I want to thank them many times over! The only complaint I have is we found it a bit difficult to get in contact with folks to discuss details and coordinate time for the rehearsal. However, that should not deter you from booking this venue. It all worked out in the end. They are professionals in this industry after all. Plus our wedding coordinator stepped in to help so I no longer needed to worry about the details. If I could do it all again, I would still book our wedding with Marche, without a doubt!

My husband and I got married here a month ago and it was spectacular. Emily from Marche was there to help us through every single detail.

I would have loved to have our wedding here, but nobody from this venue would ever contact me. We got engaged in January of 2021 and ended up getting married in November of 2021. Almost as soon as we got engaged, I started planning and looking for venues. I repeatedly called Marche’, emailed them, and used the form on their website to contact them. Multiple times, for each. Nobody ever returned an email or a phone call to me, and I checked, repeatedly. It is such a beautiful venue, and I am sure that they do a great job, given all of their glowing reviews, but it angers me to read these reviews when they couldn’t even give me the courtesy of getting in touch with me. We ended up using The Moore. They were wonderful and so attentive and we were so happy with our choice. It was also nice that they are located in Jefferson Parish, rather than Orleans Parish, which had stricter Covid protocols at the time.

Marché was the perfect venue for us, and our experience was stellar. Monica made it easy to get everything squared away and was very patient with our three year planning process lol The location is unbelievable, and both the exterior and interior architecture are beautiful on their own. The food was PHENOMENAL and all our guests said it was the best they can remember having at a wedding. We even got a brief private dinner option during cocktail hour, which was an absolute lifesaver. Lastly the staff are very attentive and kind. Would rehost my wedding here all over again in a heartbeat!

Our experience with Marche for our wedding was excellent! It was important to us to have a venue in the Quarter because so many of our guests would be visiting New Orleans for the first time, and we wanted them to have the best experience. We saw so many other venues, but we saw so many other venues and none of them spoke to us the way Marche did. The location and the venue itself are amazing. We worked with Monica throughout most of the process, and she was a pleasure to work with. She was communicative and helpful any time we had a question or wanted to add food, drinks, time, etc. to our package. It was also a very easy process to reschedule our date due to COVID as well as to schedule a tasting. On the day of our wedding, everything was perfect. Everyone raved about the food. There had been so many options that we had trouble choosing what to offer our guests, but everything was delicious. The entire staff was very attentive and helpful. They took my husband and me to a separate room as soon as we arrived after our ceremony and made sure we ate. Then they checked in with us regularly and made sure we always had drinks throughout the night. And of course, the venue is beautiful. I really could not imagine having had our wedding reception anywhere. I am extremely glad we chose Marche and will highly recommend them to anyone looking to get married or have any event in New Orleans.

Overall we had a beautiful wedding at Marche and would have it there again! Our guests had so much fun! Most were from out of town, so we wanted to show them our favorite city and Marche is an excellent example of New Orleans style and hospitality. A more detailed review: PROS: - I did not hire a wedding planner and when I walked in, flustered, Wallace looked at me and said, "I'm going to be your wedding planner tonight. Would you like something to drink?" Wallace and his team were unbelievable. They were very attentive to the groom and I-- never was my champagne glass empty!-- but also to our parents and siblings. When there was nobody to hand out second line handkerchiefs, Wallace handled it. He even brought all our stuff down to the street in a cart so my parents could take it home without having to come up for it. He was the Michael Jordan of event management and I can't say enough good things about him. - The food was absolutely delicious and there was a ton of it. Guests talked about the food all weekend! I also really appreciated that the waitstaff brought the groom and me a plate of appetizers right after the ceremony-- I hadn't eaten all day and they anticipated I would need something to eat and saw to it. - The view. I mean, what's to say? Everyone's Instagram posts have angelic lighting and amazing backgrounds. We looked at only one venue, really-- we walked in and we knew. It was fun to watch people's reactions as they came in. - Cocktails were very good, bars were never crowded, water was easily accessible. They were also able to swap out beers for me for a very reasonable charge. House wines and champagne were very tasty. - The acoustics in the terrace room were great-- we used microphones for the toasts but went without for a more intimate ceremony feeling, and everyone could hear us just fine. CONS: - Had a very hard time reaching the event planner in the months and weeks leading up to the wedding. She just wouldn't respond to emails. Phone was better but not always reliable, either. I would have appreciated tighter, closed-loop communication and this would have made wedding planning much less stressful. That being said, whenever I needed something or had a request, the answer was "yes." I really appreciated her willingness to make adjustments for us. - Consider that there is one elevator so if you have lots of elderly guests, you may want to consider a venue on the ground floor. - Bathrooms looked beautiful but stairwell and area around the bathrooms needs some upkeep.

PROS: The space is gorgeous, the food is really really good (we did a sit-down dinner) and the location cannot be beat. The staff who serves at dinner and bar could not be more efficient, kind or professional (shout-out to Leader Sean). CONS: We had a medical emergency during our wedding that really should have been handled better, and there was an unexplained loss of a family heirloom that was not recovered. We worked with a woman named Monica- who was honestly my least favorite relationship in the entire planning process. She was hard to get in touch with, and made quite a few large errors in the final month. Overall I would come back to Marche- our wedding was beautiful, the space is amazing. I would recommend advice from a planner to work with the venue though-- to make sure you have everything organized, as their sales staff will not do that with you.

Marche was such a wonderful venue. From the first time we saw it, we never looked back. The event staff was so sweet and accommodating. The food was great. Our guests had the best time. It was often challenging to get in contact with our site coordinator throughout our planning process, but we did not let it cloud our feeling about the venue.

Absolutely gorgeous! This venue was perfect for our reception and overlooks the Mississippi River. The food was DELISH and the entire staff was amazing. Classic New Orleans and a guaranteed good time.

This wedding venue was everything we could've imagined and more. We had to switch from Audubon Clubhouse to Marché in March due to Covid-19 issues at Audubon, and they were quick, professional, and incredibly helpful. The views are stunning, the staff was on point, and our POC Emily Radosta was awesome. We did a Second Line parade through the Dutch Alley between the ceremony and reception and it was amazing. If we were going to have a second wedding we would absolutely have it here, 6/5 stars!

We absolutely loved Marche’!! The staff...Emily, Brittany, servers, etc were on point and not only were we satisfied but also our guests. Our dream venue! Marche is the most beautiful venue in New Orleans with the best location. The floor to ceiling windows gives a view of the river and French Quarter. The chandeliers and marble flooring make the room feel elegant with little décor. Our wedding ceremony and reception at Marche was absolutely a dream come true. The staff was incredible and so accommodating to all our needs. We used the in-house caterer for a sit-down dinner. Everything came out hot and tasted amazing. The bridal suite was very comfortable and perfect for the moments before the ceremony. I still cannot believe I was married in such a beautiful space. I highly recommend booking Marche for your event.

I do not know where to start! From the breathtaking views of the river and city, to the food, and professional staff everything was perfect. I knew the moment I saw the space this is where I want to have my reception! Stephanie is a rock star! She was there every step of the way from menu selecting to logistic questions. Heather and Wallace were our day of operations team they were on top of the whole night! If you are looking for a gorgeous space, great service, and delicious food Marche is the venue for you!

My daughter and her fiancé knew immediately that Marché was the perfect choice for their reception on January 4, 2020. The chandeliers, wood floors, and arched windows overlooking the Mississippi River capture the essence of the French style of New Orleans. Planning an out-of-state wedding should've been more intimidating, but Stephanie went out of her way to work with our scheduled visits to the city and answer every (!) email quickly and thoroughly. She coordinated with all of our vendors and no details were overlooked. On the night of the reception, I was overwhelmed with the beauty of the venue at night. It was more beautiful than I thought was possible. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was friendly and efficient. Wallace, our personal assistant, kept my cocktails fresh and made sure my husband and I had every flavor of the wedding cake! In the large space with the black and white tiled floor, we danced the night away with a live band. Everyone said this was the most beautiful wedding/reception they've ever been to, and it was, without hyperbole, truly magical. If you want the event you've always dreamed of, choose Marché and work with Stephanie and her fabulous staff.

From the moment I stepped in the doors of Marche, I knew this is where I wanted my wedding reception to be. From the huge windows overlooking the French Quarter and Mississippi River, to the beautiful terrace room, every corner of Marche is amazing! I live in Texas and planned my wedding from 8 hours away, but Stephanie and her team made it all so seamless and easy! Our guests have RAVED about the food, saying it was the best food they've had at a wedding. My husband and I especially enjoyed having a few moments together in the private side room to eat and chat before entering the reception. Marche even had a private "assistant" for us throughout the night to make sure we were hydrated, well fed and always had a drink in our hands! I would not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone! Great food, views, setup and team! Thank you for making my wedding night better than I could have imagined!

I should start off my review by saying multiple guests said that our reception at Marche was the best they'd ever been to. The venue is stunning. The photos online of Marche are gorgeous, seeing it in person it was even more beautiful but on the wedding night, it was spectacular. The huge windows and the architecture made for a classic backdrop for our reception. Then, the food! It was so delicious. Narrowing down our selections was almost impossible as we wanted to try everything on the menu. Creole Cuisine offered the perfect New Orleans options for our reception, it was exactly what we wanted our guests to experience. The "to go" boxes they provided me and my husband after the reception was amazing as we were so excited to eat a little bit more once the party was over. Finally, working with Stephanie at Marche made the whole wedding process painless. She was so easy to communicate with, quickly responding to our emails with all of the information we needed. Stephanie was so flexible with us when planning my bridal portraits and the tasting. Stephanie was a calming presence over the year and a half we planned our wedding, it definitely wouldn't have gone as smoothly without her. I highly recommend choosing Marche to be a part of your wedding!

Marché was the only venue that my now-husband and I could agree upon when viewing reception options in New Orleans. It was stunning! I loved the windows, ceilings, and floors and my husband appreciated the location on the river with views of the French Quarter, Central Business District, and River. We also liked that the venue provided everything we would need - food, beverage, tables/chairs, and general decor (candelabras, other candles, etc.). This made the planning process much easier for us! Our contact, Stephanie, was great to work with throughout the process! She provided multiple suggestions of other vendors (e.g. DJ) and helped us decide on the flow of the evening. She even held a special food tasting for me and two of my bridesmaids that allowed us a sampling of their catering options (which were delicious!). Stephanie also served as our day-of contact; she and her team set up our favors and few pieces of decor, received our king cakes from the bakery, welcomed our second line band, and managed the schedule to ensure that my husband and I escaped for a minute to eat and breathe. We received TONS of compliments from guests about the venue, food, and the staff. We were thrilled with our reception and are so grateful to Stephanie and the Marché team for being fabulous hosts!

The absolute perfect venue for a New Orleans wedding! From the moment the bride and groom viewed Marche, they knew this was THE venue for their wedding. Stephanie helped us through every step and every little detail in planning the reception. The night of my daughter's wedding was incredible! The staff greeted us like we were family (very New Orleans)! Stephanie greeted me with a big hug and a congratulations and then went to work making sure everyone received five star service. The staff was amazing! Everyone from the servers to the bartenders made sure every guest was taken care of. Not to forget, the food! the food! the food! I received so many compliments from family and friends about how incredible the food was. My husband and I had one opportunity to make this wedding special for our daughter, Marche made it happen!

I just got back from a wedding at Marche words can't describe the event. A large portion of the success was due to the owner and staff. The food, drinks, and venue where great. I couldn't make a stronger recommendation.

We decided on Marche for our New Orleans destination wedding reception venue in January 2019. We looked at over 15 venues and at the end of the day went with Marche due to the location, turn-key offering and Stephanie! Over the course of 8 months, Stephanie was always very responsive and helpful via email; even when it came to things like recommending other vendors which doesn't even fall in her responsibilities if you ask me! Day of, her team papered us in a way that I didn't know was possible, we never had to look a few feet before we had a fresh drink in hand and her team catering to my husband and I . If you are a couple planning from out of town, I highly recommend a wedding here. Their food and bar packages are excellent and overlooking the river + in the quarter - the venue is just stunning.
