Even after the few times we met her, during the ceremony itself it felt as if she had known us for much longer - much of what she said was very personalized. Our wedding was not religious, yet the way Margaret spoke about the commitment we were making to each other really created a deep sense of gravitas (I felt) and that made the ceremony feel even more meaningful.
