Aside from being down to earth, wonderfully loving people- MSP delivers the quality in amazing artistry that your wedding day deserves. My wife and I were married on April 7th, 2018. Through a package we were able to customize a year prior to getting married (starting with engagement photos) we are able to look back on our wedding day and pull from amazing memories. MSP is more than a grab and go portrait taker; the team literally helped out in other aspects of our special day- from mix up with flowers, family stuff, ((((make up and hair))) etc...that my wife and I never even knew was happening. They were so incredibly on top of every aspect of our day that might show a negative light in pictures and put out all of the fires. Margaret’s vision goes above and beyond an every day photo. MSP is an LGBTQ friendly business and made not only my wife and I feel safe and comfortable throughout the process BUT they also helped cater to the needs of family and friends. MSP is a business of true professionals who captured the love that my wife and I have for each other. We will be hiring MSP again in the future 💕

We had the honor of having Margaret Soss for our wedding photographer. She captured our whole day. I’ve seen her work at other weddings and events and she always outdoes herself every time. Not only do I have great memories of my wedding captured, but she also captured the moments at my Bridal Shower. She is creative and hard working. She always gets multiple “perfect shots”, that I have in my photo album AND as beautiful wall decor in my house, which I am often complimented on. When I am having a tough day, I notice the photo on the wall and it takes me back to one of the most beautiful days of my life, and it instantly puts a smile on my face. She not only captured the day, but I think she captures everything; including the nitty and gritty. She isn’t afraid to capture the beauty of the rainbow of emotions people feel on their wedding day, and she has an amazing eye for the truth. A memory I will share is when I was about to go down the isle, and my mother and I shared a moment together where we quickly became a crying mess (happy tears). Suddenly, I realized Margaret was taking a photo, and as I dried my eyes to look more presentable for the photo, Margaret told me I looked “beautiful”, and she was also shedding a tear behind her camera. We all laughed and with a quick touch up from my mother with her tissue, I felt ready to go down the isle and marry my man. Margaret was there for us and our families. My family still talks about how awesome she was and how beautiful the photos were. Margaret had my back the whole wedding, and I was able to relax and enjoy myself, instead of worrying about the photos. She was also impeccable at helping keep us on schedule. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her. She even helped in a hair crises at one point. All my curls were going flat in the summer heat, and she was on it, and helped me out a ton. She also has photographed a few parties that our family has had, (Christmas/ Halloween) and they turned out absolutely awesome! She knows how to capture the fun for sure. I would 100% hire her again, and plan on having her as my family photographer. 5 STAR!

Love her! We eloped and had hired Margaret to take photos for a wedding party we were having when we returned. You'd think we'd miss out on the classic wedding photos since we eloped, but Margaret wouldn't hear of it. She and her team arranged to drive out to the middle of the desert and meet us on our way back from Vegas to get some gorgeous and unique shots of us in our formal-wear. Amazing service! Margaret and her team manage to balance being professional and personable at the same time. She was great about using humor to put everyone at ease. I also loved that we ended up with this great mix of candid moments and well composed portraits. Her photos really captured the story of the evening at our wedding party. Since then she's also taken several family portraits for us, and the very first photos of our new baby last fall. I will never use another photographer for anything again.

MSP was hands-down the best wedding photography experience we could have ever asked for! They were professional, thorough, and produced an absolutely stunning end result. Margaret and her team travelled to Chicago a couple of days before to scout out the venue, test the lighting, and to introduce themselves to the wedding party. My husband and I have both been in several weddings where wedding party pictures were laborious and drawn out. NOT the case with MSP. Since the team had thoroughly scouted out the venue beforehand, the pictures were a breeze! Not to mention how fun MSP was to work with! I personally hate taking pictures, which usually shows through in photos. Margaret and her team made sure to keep me relaxed throughout the day so I was able to look and feel my best. I also received several compliments from my guests on how awesome and uplifting my photography team was - An energy that shows through in each and every shot they took! I would highly recommend MSP for your special day!
