Tucked away in a forest of tall pine trees, snow-capped mountains, and overlooking Lake Tahoe, the resort welcomes couples year-round to celebrate their big day. To-be-weds dreaming of an adventure-filled wedding experience is sure to feel their imaginations run wild at the many opportunities available on-site. Likewise, the resort also caters to relaxed and sophisticated affairs, ensuring a seamless and luxurious wedding weekend. Facilities and Capacity The new Margaritaville Resort has a new beautiful spaces for receptions for up to 150 guests. Both indoor and outdoor locations are available, allowing couples to plan the wedding of their dreams. For the warmer months, ceremonies by the sparkling beachside lake are sure to leave guests in awe. With mountain peaks visible in the background, every angle is breathtaking and photo-worthy. Moving towards the reception, couples can choose the Compass Rose Ballroom, the private dinning room at the new Landshark, or a small intimate dinner party inside the Fins to the Left and Fins to the Right ballroom. Great for large or more intimate weddings, these reception spaces boast fine furnishings and elegant comfort. Ideally situated for seasonal activities such as ice skating, golfing, and hiking, the resort creates a solid foundation for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Services Offered Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe offers customizable wedding packages for full-day and reception-only events. Beginning with four hours of venue rental time, the basic package also includes a personal catering manager to oversee menus and dining arrangements. Couples can avail of the resort’s tables, chairs, and linens, and toast to their happiness with Champagne. Catering options range from buffet to plated serving styles, and to-be-weds are welcome to sample their menu before the big day. Every menu can be tailored to meet dietary requirements, wedding theme, and budget, giving couples the freedom to design their wedding day to their liking. Additional services include overnight accommodations and on-site recreational spaces.

Our wedding day was PERFECT!! The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was so much fun. The Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel team did a great job!! Kelsey was amazing to work with! She was so communicative and organized throughout the whole planning process; always available for questions and very helpful with suggestions (for both ourselves and our wedding guests leading up to the day). Kelsey was so nice and made the process very easy! The day was seamless in large part to her expertise. Chef Sal was great! He worked with us to customize our menu, and the food was as good on the wedding day as it was during the tasting; which is impressive when serving almost 200 people. He plated our sweetheart table meals special, and it was a nice touch! Denise and the catering team were fantastic in ensuring our guests were fed and happy, and that our leftover cake was kept chilled for us to enjoy later. We could not have asked for a better day, and are so happy to have chosen LTRH for our ceremony and reception.

Frankie is the best coordinator I could have imagined!! She was with us every step of the way. I dropped off my things with her for the reception 2 days before the wedding and she spent time to make sure everything was set up perfectly! She really paid attention to detail! I loved not having to worry about set up. The staff that took care of us the night of the wedding were fabulous. So polite and cheerful. They were prompt and everything ran smoothly. They even packed up the entire reception afterwards and had it brought up to my room on a bell cart. I didn't have to do anything and neither did my guests. The food....oh how do I even start! First we loved our tasting. They gave us lots of choices and they were all amazing. The night of the wedding the food was even better than we remembered. Everyone raved about how great it was! Most of our family stayed at the hotel and everyone was so pleased. The rooms were gorgeous, clean and comfortable. We were upgraded to a balcony suite and I was just floored with how beautiful it was!! Overall it was the best weekend ever!! The staff at Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel made it this way!

The event coordinator, Frankie, was super accommodating and went out of her way to make sure that our reception was absolutely perfect down to the last detail. The chef created the best meal that many of our guests have commented was the best that they've had at a reception. I was so impressed with all the staff at the LTRH; at their level of professionalism and how kind everyone was, not just to the bridal party, but all of our guests. Our reception and stay there was truly beautiful and unforgettable.

The Embassy Suites completely exceeded my expectations at every turn. We chose to host not only our wedding reception but also our rehearsal dinner with them and I was never disappointed. My guests all raved about the food and the service was exceptional. The level of service provided prior to my events assured me that I would not be disappointed but I was truly impressed at every turn. This venue knows what they are doing and they know how to make the bride and groom feel reassured, comfortable and like royalty. This venue was a more comfortable price point than other options in the area and was an exceptional value. My wedding was beautiful and stress free and I couldn't have asked for more. The on site event coordinator was like my best friend and was always, always there for absolutely anything I needed. I just can't say enough positive things about the Embassy Suites and the event staff. Absolutely an amazing experience!

The staff was so attentive! The food was delicious! Everything worked out perfectly! The only downside was the cocktails seemed a little weak.

The ceremony and the reception were all in one place inside the hotel, which was perfect due to the mass amounts of snow that dropped from the sky. You couldn't ask for a better staff. So friendly and helpful. The food at the reception was perfect, appetizers before were delicious. They think of everything. All you have to do is show up and say "I do". We were fortunate enough to stay in the Emerald Bay Suite that had a balcony. It was so nice to wake up to a Winter Wonderland after the storm that passed through during our stay. The ladies at the front desk granted every wish on our list. The staff at Happy Hour as always were a delight. Frankie and her staff thought of everything and treated us like royalty. I recommend this location to anyone who is looking for a flawless, amazing wedding that looked like it broke the pocket book, but in reality could not have been more reasonable. Thank you Embassy Suites for the Perfect Wedding!

Embassy Suites was in a very good location a short walk from our ceremony site (Lakeside Beach), the wedding coordinator was extremely helpful however she sometimes tried to push her ideas on me a little too much. For example, I let her influence me on how we wanted to do the bar, she kept insisting that based on her experience she KNEW we wouldn't reach our bar limit and convinced me to add a signature drink. I listened to her experience even though I was hesitant and sure enough we reached our bar limit only 2 hours into the reception so that was a bit of a bummer. But they don't have a site fee (only a food & drink minimum) and the food was very good! Overall, I was very happy with using Embassy as my venue. I don't think I could have found a better venue w/in our budget.
