Facilities and Capacity
Riviera Resort & Spa Palm Springs boasts more than 40,000 square feet of flexible space, including the historic Crosby, Royal and El Dorado Ballrooms, as well as 18 lushly landscaped acres of outdoor courtyards, gardens and poolside terraces with scenic views of the San Jacinto Mountains. Our resort offers a variety of wedding packages including garden and poolside ceremonies, ballroom receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal lunches, spa experiences, groomsmen golf outings, and farewell brunches.
Indoor weddings can be held our iconic Crosby Ballroom, featuring a distinguished oval shape and opulent crystal chandeliers, or in our intimate Royal and El Dorado Ballrooms. Couples can host up to 1,000 guests in the ballrooms. Cafe Palmetto and Tropics Lounge provide a more intimate and unique setting.
Outdoor weddings can be held in a variety of spaces on the 15,000 square feet of lush courtyards. Couples can celebrate amongst swaying palm trees and breathtaking views of the mountains. The Paradise and Oasis Pools, intimate gardens, and Palmetto Cafe Patio all provide a timeless, romantic setting for any couples’ big day.

Beautiful outdoor ceremony spot and brand new renovated Ballroom. Food was amazing! We had so many compliments about how good the food was. Some of the best wedding food our guests had ever experienced.
Guest rooms are all very close to the wedding spot for guests to stay the night after a long night of fun!

spent a weekend at the resort. As a guest, the experience is wonderful! Even the most inexpensive rooms have been updated and are comfortable and beautiful. The food is delicious! And the pool scene is great for your nieces and nephews and even the grandparents.
As the bride of a twice post-poned wedding, I couldn't have been more thankful for the banquet staff - especially Darin! He pays attention to all the details, and takes special care to make sure you are enjoying YOUR day and not worrying about the To-Do's. The venue was also super accommodating to some unique requests we had, so don't be afraid to paint your vision and be a little out of the box.

of ideas and was so helpful in being flexible. For example, I love a particular bourbon, and he was happy to switch it in as their offering over their listed option, and that one of the hors d'oeuvres from a menu we wouldn't have selected was able to transfer over to the one we picked. Just the little things that all add up into making exactly the event you want. I'll let him tell you all the other perks, but trust me- if you're considering a wedding in Palm Springs, you'd be lucky to have it at the Riviera with Darin as your guy. He was quick to respond, thoughtful, and dependable. Five stars!
