The flowers at her wedding reception at the Appleford Estate in Villanova were absolutely stunning. We heard so many compliments from our guests. Margaux incorporated my daughter’s vision for the day perfectly. The bridal bouquet was just beautiful, as were the bouquets for her attendants. The wedding cake decorated with fresh flowers was simply gorgeous! It was a pleasure to work with Margaux as we decided on all of the details for the reception. In addition to the beautiful floral arrangements, she created signs for the signature cocktail and mocktail, and also created the place cards for our guests. Margaux’s attention to detail was unparalleled. Highly recommend!

Margaux and her team are the absolute best! I first met Margaux over FaceTime during the pandemic and everything about her from her energy to her fine arts background felt right. As soon as I got off the call, I knew she was the florist for us. She understood our vision perfectly and made the most stunning bouquets, arrangements, bud vases, and more for the big day. As soon as I saw my bouquet I was at a loss for words. Margaux is just such a joy to work with and you can tell she loves what she does. The flowers were beautiful for our daughter's wedding this past weekend. Margaux understood my daughter's vision and followed through with everything discussed over the past year since first talking to her. She made it easy to do business with her. She understood our budget and really made the day beautiful with all of her flower arrangements and candles. We couldn't be happier with our choice.

Margaux was so amazing to work with to design our florals for our wedding! She’s creative, totally listens to and understands your vision, professional and easy to work with. We rented a lot of Margaux’s vases and candles so it made décor super easy. All of the florals were stunning, but my favorite was the arch she created for our ceremony – it was absolutely breathtaking! I was so happy she was able to transport our arch from the ceremony location to the reception to put behind our sweetheart table (about a 15 minute drive). For my bouquet, she came up with the idea of wrapping a piece of my wedding dress around the stems and wrapping the bridesmaids bouquets in black to match their dresses. I asked her to stick within a budget and she was able to do so (I ended up choosing to go a bit over budget). Margaux repurposed the bridesmaids bouquets as centerpieces at the reception. Other florists I reached out to would only work with me at a minimum greater than I was willing to spend. Thank you, Margaux!

We had the most wonderful experience working with Margaux and her team! I can't say enough great things about them! Margaux has a clear vision based on what you are looking for and executes it perfectly. Every conversation with her made us so relaxed because we knew she understood exactly what we were looking for! Margaux designed amazing florals for our micro-wedding at the Liberty View. Her arrangements created the elegant romantic feel that I envisioned. I loved my bridal bouquet so much that I am having it preserved in a shadow box so that I can treasure it for years to come. Margaux also created a birch wedding arch with a white picket fence that served as the centerpiece for our ceremony. It was everything that I could have dreamed of. I would absolutely recommend Margaux to other brides or any one in search of event florals!

Margaux was truly a pleasure to work with. The way she was able to bring to life the tropical theme I had envisioned for the wedding was amazing. We had huge overhanging arrangements that required a lot of onsite work with difficult terrain to deal with. She handled every obstacle with such professionalism and the outcome was breathtaking. I had no problem getting in touch with her via email and she was always prompt in replying. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a florist, especially if your looking into unique, non-traditional arrangements.

Margaux did a spectacular job! Even though my husband and I had no strong ideas about flowers, color schemes, etc., Margaux managed to come up with beautiful designs that reflected our vision (however inarticulate we were about what that was!) for our May 2019 wedding. Working with Margaux was so easy and enjoyable. She was always responsive to messages and went above and beyond in helping put all the details of the day together, no matter how tangentially-floral related. That we were also able rely on her for the chuppah, non-floral table decorations, table number frames, baskets, and place-card display made things so much easier and also helped maintain a cohesive look. Margaux's prices are more than fair and her familiarity with the layout and operating procedures of so many venues in the area (including ours) make her an invaluable resource. We are very grateful for all the guidance she provided throughout the planning process and could not have been happier with her beautiful and thoughtful work.

Margaux at Fleur de Lis is simply the BEST!! A couple years ago, she did my sister's wedding which was absolutely gorgeous so when I got engaged I knew who to call! Margaux was one of the easiest of all my vendors to work with - she's punctual, her staff is so accommodating and friendly, and Margaux is very artistic and clever - just a joy to work with! I never had to worry if things were under control. She completely understood my vision and was very patient along the way. I always had complete confidence in her. My mother-in-law also ended up working with her to have arrangements made for our rehearsal dinner which were perfect! Guests from my wedding still comment on how fabulous the flowers were!

I had the best experience with this florist for our wedding day. Margaux is amazing! She met with me multiple times to understand exactly what I wanted. When the day came I was blown away. She went above and beyond and the flowers and details turned out even better than I had expected. I still look back on my wedding photos in awe! It made the day! We got married at Cairnwood Estates and had an Italian Tuscan theme with a very specific vibe and she nailed it!

Margaux was super easy to work with and really created beautiful bouquets with not much to work with as far as input on my end. I was pretty open and showed a few pictures of ideas but she put together something I could have never dreamed of. The quality was amazing and lasted almost a week after the wedding in vases. But perhaps the best part was the incorporation of Star Wars lego characters into all the men's boutonnieres. It was a surprise for my husband and groomsmen and she did a fabulous job putting it together. Those were a hit with everyone! Thank you for everything!

Margaux was great to work with. From the very beginning she was incredibly warm and made us feel like we were in very good hands. She understood our vision from the start as well, but was totally flexible and able to morph and change as our plans changed throughout the year. She even added in a bunch of last minute items without breaking our (relatively low!) budget. The end result was pure magic: big candles everywhere, gold sparkles on everything, just the right mix of flowers and greenery.

Margaux is truly an expert floral goddess! In our first meeting, we discussed what I had in mind. She looked at a few pictures of what I envisioned for my wedding then she added her expert opinion and knowledge to turn my dreams into a reality. Within a few days, I had an email with a thorough description of each floral arrangement- both words as well as images attached to accompany flower names (super helpful since I do not know flowers). She took my ideas and ran! I was especially thankful to have her on my side when, 4 months away from our wedding date, my fiancé and I decided to purchase a home, cut the size of our wedding, and change the venue to our backyard. She was patient, willing to listen, and beyond creative. Closer to the day, she came to visit my backyard and I listened as she described idea after idea of little touches to make the day incredible. My wedding day was absolute perfection thanks to Margaux. She nailed it, from the boutonnières to the altar arrangements, pew end decor to my breathtaking bouquet. Margaux is an artist , and her medium is flowers! Actually, that doesn’t even do justice to her work. We had an outdoor wedding in our backyard for my son and his bride. Margaux and her team wrapped a huge black walnut in twinkling lights and hung lanterns from the branches so it would all be visible thru the clear tent. She also hung a collection of unique lanterns from the frame tent and lit our patio /porch area with beautiful candles. The flowers were absolutely spectacular and so original. The bud vases nestled in the greenery on the farmhouse tables seemed to float. The wreaths, floral arch and arrangements took our breath away. Margaux really listened to the bride’s vision of what she wanted and then exceeded all of our expectations. When it rained the evening of the wedding all those twinkling lights and beautiful flowers turned the wedding into a fairytale! If you are looking for a magician with flowers lights and overall design of decor, Margaux is the person you want!!

Margaux made all of our dreams come true for our wedding this fall. She truly went above and beyond, and we cannot recommend her and her team enough. We were planning on an outdoor ceremony, but due to weather, we had to move it inside rather last minute. Margaux was prepared with a beautiful birch wedding arch that was the PERFECT thing for us. My husband had his heart set on hop flower boutonnieres, and even though they weren't in season, Margaux made them happen for him. The centerpieces, the bouquets...everything was absolutely stunning. At our initial meeting, I shared some of my ideas with Margaux and she got back to me later with a list of every single flower she would use along with pictures. It was perfect because I was able to envision how everything would look at my wedding. She also helped me come up with other decorating ideas, which was so helpful. There aren't words to express what an amazing job Margaux did making my wedding more gorgeous than I could have imagined. I had a specific and non-traditional vision for our wedding, and Margaux understood my concept immediately. I wanted oversized palm leaves and tropical flowers - tons of green with small dashes of pink and copper accents. Margaux listened, understood, and, along with Ilonka Comstock, executed our vision to perfection. The centerpieces were stunning (giant palm leaves with pink ginger flowers), the table decor was magical (geometric copper terrariums with moss and fairy lights, succulents at each place setting), the bouquets and boutineers were unique and exquisite, lit florals lining the ceremony aisle were beautiful...I could go on and on, because Fleur de Lis didn't simply do flowers, they created the entire aesthetic of the event from top to bottom, from the escort card table to linens to bathroom decor. They even brought in the chairs (ghost chairs, for a more modern look than the venue could provide). They also made our chuppah, which was breathtaking - sparse and modern with lit copper strands hanging down. We were really concerned about lighting because our ceremony was in a planetarium and we didn't want the chuppah casting a shadow on the dome, so Margaux brought in a special lighting team and they got everything PERFECT. Thanks to her and her team, our photos are amazing. Their creativity and artistry turned a special night into a spectacular one, and I could not be more grateful.

The flowers for our wedding were absolutely amazing - I still can't get over how beautifully everything turned out! We wanted our guests to take all the flowers home at the end of the night, and she gave us options to purchase or provide vases ourselves to keep costs down (and I had a great time searching flea markets for all sorts of glassware!). Have I mentioned that the flower arrangements were STUNNING? When Margaux arrived before the wedding and showed me the bouquets... I cried. That's how beautiful they were. I had worried that maybe I hadn't explained myself well enough and that it wouldn't be quite what I had in mind. But no. Margaux understood my vision completely and worked her magic to bring it to life. I can't recommend her enough!

Margaux and her team were absolutely amazing throughout the entire wedding experience – from planning to execution. Not only did she give us incredibly helpful information about everything from linens to seating considerations but her floral designs were better than anything we could have imagined! We were married at a non-traditional venue that was open to the public until 2 hours before our ceremony so Margaux and her team were under significant time restraints, though you wouldn’t know it by the time of the ceremony. Her vision and corresponding floral designs, which included hanging greens on the front porch’s giant pillars that the team built on-site, completely transformed the space. She also flawlessly incorporated some family heirlooms into her designs (my boutique as well as the center pieces), which meant so much to us. I know everyone might say it, but I know for sure I may be the pickiest bride out there. Details, details, and more details... that's the type of bride I was, and I needed to find the perfect match for my obsession. Fleur De Lis Floral was my match. I originally chose to meet Margaux solely off of her portfolio, but once we did.. I knew she would be key in bringing my vision to life. I must have met with Margaux at least 4 times over the year of planning. Each time coming to her with a new plan, a new vision, or a completely different look. Each time I arrived at her studio, I was welcomed with open arms and ears for my "crazy bridal visions". She always took the time to listen to my needs and wants, and always came back with bigger and better suggestions and styling ideas. My visits with her were a blast, I found myself wanting to be there just to hang out. That's what you get from Margaux, endless time, patience, creativity, and friendship. We built a trust with each other which was so super important to me. It was important that all of my vendors understood what I wanted. I was going for a very specific look, and she nailed it. I threw curve balls at her, even up until the week and day before the wedding, and she handled them all with confidence and ease. If there was something I wanted that she didn't have, she would make it her mission to be on the hunt for it, that was a major part of why I loved this company so much. Margaux, of Fleur de Lis, creates "absolute magic" with flowers! And then, she highlights these floral gems with additional accents...votives, linens, table numbers, all contributing to a "tablescape mood", ours was "understated elegance" and Margaux created it all, perfectly!!! "Thank-you Margaux!" Ours was a Rehearsal Dinner and it was held at Appleford Estate. I, (mother of groom), was from out of state and referred to Fleur de Lis. Margaux empathetically understood that while I loved all her photos of incredible creative floral arrangements in the most unique ( and beautiful) assortment of vessels, that ours was "Act I" and needed to be "understated, yet elegant" to complement the venue, but not upstage the main event "Act II...the wedding". And Margaux "got it". She looked at all the photo selections I chose from her website, and she looked at all those floral arrangement photos I had assembled from years of clipping magazines. And we talked, and we talked (rather I talked, she listened). And then finally, Margaux empathetically forwarded a photo of vases...empty vases. These were unique vases...simple, artistic, fragile, and when juxtaposed with rustic bark birch flower vessels (her suggestion) and burnt wooden table numbers...Margaux had created the "look" for our specific selection of flowers and tables, set on the patio in Appleford's lovely garden setting. All was "simply lovely, just perfect". Working with Margaux is a joy! She is punctual, pleasant, organized,and empathetic. She is receptive to her clients ideas and respectful of their budget. Margaux's artistic sense coupled with her extensive knowledge of flowers, plants, their colors, textures, mutual compatibility, and their seasonal availability, all contribute to a thoughtful floral design. As well, Margaux's vast and varied assortment of floral vessels and misc tablescape items (e.g. Votives, table numbers, linen suggestions,etc) assist in enabling choice of complimentary tablescape items to create the final "mood". All the staff of Fleur de Lis are pleasant and efficient folks. I appreciated their efforts. In summary, I highly recommend Margaux and Fleur de Lis for any type of event, wedding, rehearsal dinner, shower, engagement party, bar mitzvah, etc and at any possible venue.
