Just wanted to speak on behalf of CakeArt by Margi Chambers BECAUSE THE kNOT COMPANY WILL NOT REMOVE THIS FALSE REVIEW. The SLANDEROUS review by Hunter C, is totally false. Margi h...
as NEVER done a tasting while drinking, nor did she have to be reminded of any cake design during a tasting. She does not rely on other vendors to return her equipment, therefore another falsehood. Why a person who was happy with their cake would try to slander a persons business is beyond comprehension.,.
I was very happy with how my cake turned out, however the rest of the process was not so great. I felt the owner was unprofessional due to the following: during our meeting about ...
the cake she was drinking a beer and baking a cake, she often forgot the details of my cake and I had to remind her, she was rude to my wedding planner the day of the wedding, and after the wedding she texted me to get her cake stand even though we had an agreement that another vendor would be bringing it to her. I ended up have to call the other vendor to see if they could take it to her even though it was her idea to have them take it at the end of the night. I would not recommend this vendor.
There are not many people who can make a cake that not only looks amazing but tastes great too!! Margi was very professional throughout the process and was able to take my vision o...
f what I wanted and make it a reality. Seeing the cake on my wedding day was something I had anticipated since I was engaged and when I finally got to see it on the "big day", I could barely keep my eyes off of it! It was absolutely gorgeous! Perfect! I highly recommend CakeArt to anyone who wants a cake for a special event!!

I chose a 7 tier piped cake that was extremely intricate and not an easy task by any means. I was worried no one around me would be able to pull it off. A couple minutes into my ...
meeting with Margi I knew she was the one to do it! She and I (and my mom) connected immediately. We had a wonderful time meeting with her and we were all laughing and crying throughout the HOURS we spent with her. Her cake also tasted AMAZING!!! I ate almost every bit of the sample mini cakes she provided us. Her pricing was beyond reasonable for this giant work of art I asked for and on my wedding day I nearly cried when I saw it. It was huge and amazing and looked so, so beautiful. I can never full explain how awesome Margi was to work with, but I know she will make every cake I need from now on because her personality, dedication, creativity, and baking is UNMATCHED!!!!!
