ting. After submitting an inquiry on her site, Margit was quick to respond to set up a “get to know you” call. During that first meeting, Margit shared her passion for photography and capturing the emotion of weddings with true to life colors. She did this by truly getting to know us as a couple. She wanted to hear about our relationship and engagement and the things we enjoy to do together. When planning our engagement shoot, we had to reschedule a number of times due to rain in the forecast. Margit was incredibly helpful during this process and even suggested doing a sunrise shoot instead to avoid the weekend rain and crowds of Newport. To start the shoot, Margit set us at ease and got us comfortable behind the camera by having us stare off at the ocean. She directed us without feeling uncomfortable or artificial and really captured our energy! Ahead of the wedding, Margit sent over a questionnaire to prepare for our wedding day and ensure she knew all of the photos we wanted to capture. After the wedding, a number of our guests commented on how efficient the wedding party and family photos went due to Margit’s preparation and organization. Above all else, Margit was so genuinely happy and excited for us on our wedding day. She had the best energy and it was so fun being photographed by her. We can’t recommend her enough!!! hrough her process, made us feel at ease, and was very responsive. She included an engagement shoot in the package which was the perfect opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera and get to know her before the wedding. On the day of the wedding, she ended up being the biggest asset out of all our vendors. She played such a big role beyond taking photos. We had a small wedding with 50 guests and did not have a wedding planner or day-of coordinator. We planned everything ourselves and timed out the whole event. We had provided all the vendors with a timeline beforehand, but Margit was instrumental in keeping things moving. It is so easy to get caught up with guests, but Margit was always able to pull us aside, coordinate with the other vendors, and do what needed to be done to capture the moments we wanted. She didn't even hesitate to grab an umbrella and stand out in the rain to get pictures outside the venue. She was very timely with delivering the photos and did an amazing job capturing the vibe of the event. Our venue was an old farmhouse at Christmastime and Margit was able to capture the most magical, cozy amber glow that brings us right back. She checked every box on our wish list and more.

My husband and I are not photo people but within the first few minutes of our engagement shoot Margit had us laughing, smiling, and forgetting we were even taking photos. When we got our photos back, we were blown away at her ability to capture genuine moments and emotions.
