to find a vendor who would make something delicious or else she would never let me live it down. Also, my then-fiance, now-husband had one major request during the wedding planning and that was a stadium cake for his favorite football team (and he had so many ideas about coloring, icing, flavors etc.) that I was worried he was going to be let down. When I tell you this bakery delivered, they really delivered! He was so impressed at the artistry, flavor, and how it photographed he didn't want to cut it at the reception. (We did, and it was delicious!) These people really know what they are doing and they have great customer service and were able to put our minds at ease throughout the planning process. Mrs. Marguerite and her staff really put love in every cake they make which is why she only does a few wedding cakes a year - to make sure each couple gets exactly what they want. I'm telling you, go to one of her cake tastings and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed. Definitely will be using her services in the future!

They accepted the challenge and exceeded our expectations. Throughout the process, the staff was very attentive, and Brandy was quite amazing in keeping all the details straight. She called to verify details several times to ensure everyone was on the same page, and when we saw our cakes the day of our January 5th wedding, I was completely amazed at seeing our vision come to life. Both cakes were a hit, and we are completely thankful for such a great bakery experience!

ous the cakes were that we had a hard time choosing, but we were still able to get exactly what we wanted. We ended up with a 3 layer wedding cake with Italian cream, red velvet and traditional almond and a 4 layer king cake with 2 traditional layers, Cajun praline and apple cream cheese filled. We were very pleased with the price and she sent us home with the leftovers from the tasting! She offered to allow us to make any changes up until days before our wedding and was very accommodating to all of our decoration requests! She had the most beautiful New Orleans style cake pulls to add that extra special touch and there are 40 cake stands to choose from if you wish to borrow one! Our group has even decided that we can’t wait until the wedding day and plan to order a few birthday and king cakes in the meantime to get another taste! You will not be disappointed if you order a cake of any kind from Marguerite’s!!
