She called about a week or two before the wedding to check in on final details, shots to be sure to get, etc. She made everything easy breezy. Day of, I didn't have to worry about a thing. Maria and her second photographer, Anna, took the lead -- keeping us on schedule, instructing how to gracefully get into my dress, keeping me hydrated during pictures, sending bridal party to take care of tasks, and and making sure to capture every shot we asked for. We got our photos a couple weeks ago and are beyond thrilled!! They are all STUNNING. It was almost 100 degrees with 100% humidity on our wedding day, and you can't tell in the pictures. She captured the the day so perfectly - you can see the joy and fun radiating throughout. I'm so happy to have these pictures to go with our memories! There are a ton of creative shots - some I didn't even know she was doing (like my earrings hanging off my bouquet!) to some, i thought would be standard. We haven't ordered prints or our album yet, but can't wait! These pics show Maria's true talent! I HIGHLY recommend Maria for your wedding day - friendly, down to earth, incredibly professional, knows what she's doing, and so talented! We are so happy with our choice to have Maria as our photographer!

After sharing with her the date of our wedding, she immediately looked up the sunset time and helped me plan the day accordingly. I was reluctant to have an engagement shoot, but she insisted and said it would be a great way for her to get to know us and how we look at each other. But I have to give Maria credit because our engagement pictures turned out beautifully. She help put us at ease so we could both be ourselves and just have fun with it. She also chose really great places for us to take the pictures. Our wedding pictures were just as wonderful. Maria was on time and ready to go. We put Helen under some pressure with our tight time frame, but she kept us focused and got through the checklist as quickly as she could so that we could enjoy being with our friends and family at the reception. We are still waiting to see the finished product, but Maria sent us a teaser and the photography and editing is top notch. We can't wait to see the rest!!!

pictures - despite it being 20 degrees outside - we had a great time as a couple and working with Helen. And the pictures were beautiful! The day of our wedding Helen was once again amazing. She calmed us and got all the pictures we requested! She even helped bustle my dress and had Shout wipes to help with a stain on my shoes! We can't wait to have Helen photograph other important events in our life in the future!

day and Maria's intern Margaret shoot our wedding as well. Maria is amazing in her own right but when her and Helen get together for a wedding the results are pure magic. They both have an amazing artistic talent for creating photos that far surpass your expectations. Not only are they wonderful photographers, they are all around genuine people who are 100% there to make sure you have the best day possible. For example, I spilled coffee on my dress after the ceremony and Helen was there right away with a shout wipe to help get the stain out. I am almost at a loss for words that truly describe how grateful and happy we were to have had Maria and her team for our wedding photographers. They are simply the best at their craft and I would 100% recommend using them for your wedding.

Maria and her second photographer Helen traveled from Baltimore to New Jersey for our wedding, and we have the most amazing photographs from beginning to end of our day. Further, they were both such calming and friendly presences to have around during the hectic and stressful times. Everyone was at ease with both photographers- including my camera-shy husband. He's actually smiling naturally in all the photos! They had great ideas for where to stop for photo ops, and executed my vision for the day in such a way that the photographs are better than I ever could have dreamed. On more than one occasion they "rescued" me from being locked into conversations with guests so I could enjoy the day to the fullest. Truly, above and beyond service, professionalism, and friendliness. I can't wait to have an excuse to hire them again!

While I worked with Maria leading up to the wedding, we actually had Helen as our main photographer for the engagement pictures and wedding. I told my husband after the wedding, I am extremely thankful we had her by our side. She was almost like a bridesmaid in the way I leaned on her for support and guidance throughout the wedding and she did an excellent job at that in addition to the phenomenal photos!!!! I sincerely feel fortunate to have such great vendors at my wedding and feel blessed to have found Maria. You know you would recommend someone if you go back to them in the future which we certainly will when in need of the perfect photographer!!

On the day of the wedding, both Maria and Hellen were so helpful with everything and actually kept us on track with everything, they truly wore two hats, photographers and wedding planners! They were fun and energetic and they had our entire wedding party smiling and feeling comfortable while taking a zillion pictures. I have not seen our actual wedding pictures yet, but based off what our engagement pictures looked like, I know they are going to be absolutely beautiful!!!

I didn't realize how much time you spend with your photographer on your wedding day and I am so glad we spent it with Maria (and Amanda and Kasey) - our wedding party kept telling us how nice and fun they were to be around. We just got our pictures and they are gorgeous. Better than I could have imagined. She caught all of the best moments and more. I highly recommend Maria!!

processing, albums making, etc. She is young, very friendly, and is very easy to work with. She is very responsive with phone and email and always has an answer to questions. I chose her because my sister used her for her wedding the year before and I was very impressed with the photos. I didn't really search around for photographers, so I can't really comment on pricing. For my wedding, I used the associate photographer and a second photographer. The photos came out great, and they got some great group shots and dancing shots. My only negative comment on the photos was that they missed a lot of guests in the photos who weren't up and about the whole night. Overall, a great company to work with.

n our wedding day she seemed to be everywhere at once. She made sure to get a shot of all of our guests and made sure she got all the photos we wanted. Maria is very responsive to emails, has your pictures posted online in 2 weeks, and works hard to make sure everything goes smoothly.

On the day, she made everyone feel comfortable and did a great job - we hardly even noticed she was there, yet she managed to get pictures of just about everything. She also did a great job of getting pictures of every combination of people; my husband's parents are divorced, so that wasn’t easy, but she didn’t forget anyone! We were running a little bit late when the ceremony ended, and Maria's easy direction and quick decision helped us to make up that lost time without sacrificing picture quality. She was extremely easygoing and willing to indulge all of our "now take one there!" last-minute desires. Finally, after the wedding, Maria continued to be responsive (I've heard horror stories of photographers that stop answering e-mails once your wedding is over!). Everyone that has seen the pictures, including complete strangers, loves them. I'd recommend Maria to anyone - and actually already have!

fantastic - Maria has such a great eye for details and those candid moments - she creates wonderful memories of a simply perfect day. I was surprised to see an earlier review regarding bad service, because I had quite the opposite experience - very prompt service, replies and extremely quick delivery of photos, proofs, CDs, etc. When we got back from our honeymoon we already had a first look at our photos waiting for us at home! On the day of the wedding, Maria and her second photographer Helen, made sure everything ran smoothly - from the smallest details with my bridesmaids getting ready to making sure all of the family got the shots that they wanted. They made everything so fun and happy, it definitely took some of those nerves away (which then, of course, made for great photos)! I would highly recommend Maria and her team for any occasion, and you can expect top-rate quality and service with a fun attitude.

aphers we met with. We started by doing an engagement photo shoot with her. We were downtown for about an hour, and she took tons of pictures (and they turned out to be TOTALLY AMAZING!) Then of course was the wedding day. She was punctual and took tons of great shots - both formal and candid. One of the most important parts of a wedding are the pictures and you have to like your photographer. We LOVED Maria and working with her was effortless. Overall, we are so thrilled with her work and highly recommend her.

ually took the pictures at our wedding and Maria handled the administrative side of things. For Helen I would give her 5 stars as she was very professional, nice, and made us feel very comfortable when taking pictures. For Maria, in general she was fine, but the big problem we had with her (my husband and I) was the lack of communication and huge delay in actually getting us our photographs. In our case we only had a CD with all the pictures on it, nothing printed out, etc., with 4 hours of coverage on it, yet it took nearly 3 months (no exageration) to get the CD to us, which is a little ridiculous considering it is just a burned CD. In addition, at the wedding itself, Helen handed out cards saying the online proofs would be available to view 2 weeks after the wedding date, which did not happen due to a family emergency on Maria's end, which we totally understood. However, after about a month had passed the proofs still weren't online. When we would contact Maria via email about it (we live outside the U.S.), her emails were curt, unprofessional, and not very friendly considering we were the customers. The bottom line problem was that Maria did not explain why there was such a HUGE delay in getting a single CD to us. Had she been more forthright and clear from the start as to how long it would take, it may have been easier for us to understand why it was taking so long (although we still are in the dark as to why it took so long to send a CD that takes less than 5 minutes to burn, tops). And again, Maria was just unprofessional in her email style, which to us was not right seeing as it is a professional situation and we are her clients who paid her quite a bit (for our standards at least) for her services. With that said, though, we were happy with the pictures, although the CD and USB stick she mailed us had some images that did not work properly (the reason she sent the USB stick along with the cd in the first place) and some even had what appeared to be tear-drops on the image (only one or two though, but still). Her pictures are nice, no doubt, but this is our honest experience about working with her. Best of luck to future brides and grooms out there!

enever we emailed her, and even met up with us a 2nd time at our venue to "preview" it and discuss photo options. Her 2nd shooter, Melissa, who came on the wedding day was great as well. They both took a ton of pictures, were in the right time at the right place, but were very unobtrusive. We were so glad we went with Maria!
