Maria was amazing to work with and I highly recommend her! I planned my wedding within a year and was struggling to find hair and makeup that wasn't booked out multiple years, was affordable and didn't have a minimum spend, as I had a very small wedding party. Maria is incredibly personable and professional. She took her time to make sure my hair and makeup was exactly what I wanted during my trial and on my wedding day. As someone who prefers a more natural look, Maria was able to make that happen, while also making sure my makeup popped in photos. She was also very honest, which I so appreciated as she talked me through what I would need to make sure my hair and makeup would endure a hot July wedding day. I cannot recommend Maria enough- I absolutely loved my hair and makeup!

Maria Rose is the literal best of the best! I was fortunate enough to have her do my bridal hair and make-up for my Southern California wedding; I will be forever grateful for that! Because of the distance, we were unable to do an official trial, but I sent her photos of hair & make-up I liked, and we were able to consult over FaceTime a few times as well. I knew I wanted to do a ponytail, which would require extensions, and she even helped me know what type of hair I needed to buy and color matching.
We reviewed the photos I sent again on the morning of the wedding to ensure we were still aligned. Maria spent time asking me all the right questions, making me feel confident she knew what I was aiming for - and let me tell you, she understood the assignment! I have never felt so beautiful and confident in my hair and make-up while still feeling like I recognized myself in the mirror. There was also a moment during the beginning of the day when the bridal waterworks turned on, and she gave me a moment to collect myself and helped talk me through my nerves, which I extra appreciated. She then gave my MOH and me an excellent pointer of having Q-tips on hand to help with tears and not using tissues to wipe away my make-up.
I am not exaggerating when I tell you I am in love with every single one of my wedding photos and looks; a substantial portion of the credit goes to Maria, who did incredibly beautiful and detailed work on my hair and make-up, making me feel like an angelic princess bride from the beginning of the day, all the way through to taking my hair out at the end of the night.
Maria and Tori are the BEST. They were very responsive when I had any questions throughout the process. After my trial, I was so incredibly happy that I booked them. They were so easy to talk to and I had a great time. My hair and makeup looked amazing the rest of the day, even after being out in the rain. On the wedding day, they did hair and makeup for me, my mom, and my seven bridesmaids. They all looked absolutely beautiful and had great things to say about Maria and Tori. My hair and makeup lasted all day again. We were taking wedding pictures out in the rain and my whole party still looked amazing. Very reasonably priced as well. I wholeheartedly recommend Maria Rose Hair & Beauty for your wedding. Thank you so much to Maria and Tori!
Maria was so amazing throughout the entire wedding process. She did a phenomenal job with the makeup trial and recommended a couple products for me to use on my face to help with some dryness. She is so knowledgeable about products. On the day of my wedding, she did my makeup and a couple of my bridesmaids’ makeup as well and we all looked beautiful! I received so many compliments on my makeup on the day of my wedding and my makeup stayed perfect all day and even looked perfect at the after party! In addition to being an excellent makeup artist, Maria is also so friendly and nice, we all enjoyed spending time with her and I would 100% recommend her to anyone!!
I can't even begin to say enough about Maria. She made everythign about process SO easy and carefree, and made the day of getting ready so fun with the girls! I've been in 5 weddings this year, and attended 12, and I have truly never seen bridesmaids so happy with their makeup. There were no whispers in the corner, no make up wipes or touch ups after Maria left:) And a few of the bridesmaids even showed their faces of makeup from Maria for the next weddings they were in for inspiration!
My makeup as the bride lasted ALL night and I didn't even have to think twice about it. I of course wanted to feel my best on that day, and Maria and Tori made that happen. We couldn't be happier that Maria came into the picture and made the wedding day so much better!!!!
Maria is awesome! She was flexible in scheduling my trial and easy to work with all throughout. Her team was friendly and professional. They did an amazing job with my bridal party, mom and mother-in-law’s hair and makeup. Everyone was so happy with how they looked! I was also so happy with my look and received many many compliments the day of! She listened to what I wanted and gave me a great natural glam look!
I’ve known Maria a long time, and I knew she was talented but I had no idea HOW talented. I figured, her reviews are great and she’s such a fun person to be around - why not have her there for my wedding?
I WAS BLOWN AWAY. I slept one hour the night before my wedding, just excited to celebrate. She absolutely transformed my face. I wanted to look like ME, and she somehow just accented my natural features in the best way, so that I felt like myself but also like a princess. The look lasted all day/night. My hair was everything I asked for. All of my bridesmaids and MOB and officiant were also SO happy with their looks. My sister even used her time with Maria as her second trial for her own wedding (her initial one was less than satisfactory, and Maria gave her a look that would be perfect for her own wedding!). I cannot say enough amazing things about Maria. She is out of this world. Worth every penny. If Maria is booked on your wedding date - CHANGE THE DATE.

Maria did a wonderful job with hair and makeup for my wedding! She was super easy going throughout the entire process, and was able to adjust when I reached out to her a couple days before the wedding and said I wanted to change my hairstyle from what we had done for my trial. Both my hair and my makeup were stunning on the big day, and my bridesmaids looked great as well!
Maria did my wedding hair & makeup even better than I could’ve ever imagined! She was so great to work with - down to earth, helpful, and she definitely knows what she’s doing! My bridesmaids and I had a lovely morning on the big day with Maria and her 2nd artist.
Maria was phenomenal in every way. She is such a warm and fun person, and really listened to what I wanted. I told her that I still wanted to look like myself, just glammed up, and she did exactly that! I had so many people tell me how much they loved my look and how "me" it was. My maid of honor also looked incredible. My mom was so nervous to get her hair and makeup done, but Maria made her feel so at ease and she looked perfect. Maria is worth every penny and more! I couldn't recommend her enough. :)

Maria was amazing! My hair and makeup for my wedding were SO perfect. She was easy to work with, super flexible/accommodating, and gave me exactly what I wanted (except somehow better!). I was especially concerned because of my cowlicks and thin hair but she worked her magic to make it look fantastic. I would recommend her to anyone -- especially brides!
Maria and her team were absolutely amazing! I did a trial with Maria a couple months before the wedding and it made me so confident in her that I didn’t have any worries about hair and makeup going into the wedding - she listened to what I wanted and understood what I was looking for, and then she made it happen! On the wedding day Maria was excellent- She and her team arrived right on time and they were amazing from start to finish. Everyone was so excited and happy with their looks (and they did hair and makeup for 11 women!) The energy was so positive and the team was professional yet kept it fun. Maria made me feel great and I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. I wanted to be more glammed up than normal but keep a natural look and she did exactly that. Thank you Maria and team- I cannot recommend them highly enough!
I was extremely happy with Maria and her team with how everything came out for our wedding. She was quick to respond with any questions I had before the wedding day, and easily set up a hair trial before hand. I was able to show her a few pictures of ideas of hairstyles I liked, and she put together the perfect updo. She was very reliable, and everyone was very happy with how their hair came out wedding day. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a hairstylist!

Full disclosure: I work with Maria doing makeup at weddings. BUT—that should speak volumes about the level of quality she provides.
Maria is the perfect balance of professional and personable. Everyone asked me who I was going to “trust to do [my] face” on my big day and my answer without even blinking was Maria. She’s the only makeup artist I know that you could say “I hate it. Start over” and she truly won’t care (although that would never happen, she’s too good 😂). Maria strives to make sure each person in her chair feels their absolute best self; she’s not in it to stroke her own ego or defend her abilities.
Maria: thank you for making my turn in the chair even more magical than I thought it would be. Who knew I’d flinch as much as I did 😂😂😂 you glammed up our squad to perfection and we’re so excited to do it all again in September for my sister-in-law’s wedding (who hired Maria after being so blown away by her work, too)!!
All of that aside, from a logistical perspective and speaking from experience—hire ONE company for hair and makeup. Splitting up vendors makes things a little more chaotic for everyone involved. Maria coordinates both, provides the day-of schedule, and you only have to pay one person. Easy peasy and your whole squad will look bossy af.

Maria is AMAZING! I have never fully felt like myself after having hair and makeup done for previous weddings/events, but this was an entirely different experience. Maria is a true professional who takes your vision to the next level. You feel like the most beautiful (and not overly done) version of yourself after Maria works her magic. I have never loved my hair and makeup more, and as a bride, this was so important for me. She also has a great sense of humor which makes the glam process that much more enjoyable. She is so great to work with and is so welcoming of all feedback in case there is a detail you would like to change. I contacted Maria because she had done my sister in law and sister’s wedding, and everyone looked stunning! There was no way once I got engaged I wasn’t reaching out to her immediately for makeup and hair styling for my NYE wedding! Not only is she ridiculously good at her job and follows your vision to a tee, she makes the day itself that much more enjoyable because of who she is- so fun, so knowledgeable of her craft and has experience from NYC to Boston weddings and back again! We were back and forth constantly communicating changes to the wedding plans and she was always easy going! I can’t thank Maria enough for showing compassion to us pandemic brides just trying to get married!!

Book Maria now. She is incredible, and will not steer you wrong - she understands what photographs well given her background in television, and she is honest but works with your vision. On our day, she brought a calm to my morning - it felt like I was at the spa (not hectic at all). She's reasonable and wonderfully kind.
Maria and her crew did hair and makeup for 11 members of the wedding party. I was worried about time with all of the people, but Maria was wonderful to work with and created a schedule. We had a blast getting ready and even finished early. The entire bridal party LOVED their hair and makeup! I am not a makeup person but Maria was great and very patient during my trial and also day of the wedding. She made me look amazing but not cake-y like I always worry about

Against all odds Maria pulled off a miracle. I appreciate her giving me the confidence that I needed on my big day. I got hardly any sleep the night before and had a rough night and nobody knew because I looked beautiful. This was one of the things that could have gone wrong on my day and didn’t. I don’t have enough good things to say about Maria.
