Maria was a pleasure to work with! We knew we liked her style right away when we saw her candid shots! My husband and I consider ourselves a little awkward and knew our candid photos would be better than posed photos. She was open to our ideas and vision and was responsive to questions and concerns. She is thoughtful and meshed well with our personalities! (Fun but efficient and gets things done!) We felt she did more than what was expected of a photographer and we are so appreciative of her work! Pictures came back very quickly, compared to what we've heard from other newlyweds. Images are clear and colorful! We have already started recommending her to others and will continue to do this!

I was looking for someone to capture every aspect of my wedding day. Maria Sharp exceeded my expectations from the beginning. At our first meeting, she took the time to really understand my vision and photography needs. Our wedding pictures are beautiful and captured not only the details but all the emotions of the day. My wife and I cannot say enough good things about Maria! On a day that can have a multitude of stressors, she was such a calming presence for everyone. Not just limited to our wedding day, but the entire process as well. She worked with us every step of the way, and her insights were invaluable. Maria was more than our photographer -- she became a very trusted friend. Our photos will be treasured for a lifetime.

We cannot say enough about Maria, she did an incredible job! Not only is she an amazing photographer and master of her craft but she is a invaluable source of expertise and guidance as you plan you perfect day. She thinks of everything you haven't. She is extremely organized and calm during a very fast-paced and potentially stressful event. She made us feel comfortable to be ourselves and that shows in the photos. We are beyond thrilled with the quality of our photos- everyone who sees them comments on what a great job she did capturing our day. She really goes above and beyond!

Maria did an amazing job capturing our engagement and wedding pictures. We were blown away by all of the different aspects she was able to capture at our wedding from individual/family pictures, candid pictures, dancing etc. If we had to pick a photographer over again, we would pick Maria without any hesitation. When searching for a photographer, we were instantly drawn to Maria's style. Her photos have a very natural feel to them and she knows how to work with lighting. We planned an Ohio wedding from out-of-state, and the process was smooth, professional, and efficient. We recently reviewed our wedding photo gallery, and we are thrilled with the results! She captured incredible moments of the day. We can't thank her enough!

Words can't even describe how happy we are with not just the photos we received...but the entire experience. Maria is so much fun to work with, she makes sure she understands what is important to you (what style are you going for? do you have any special family heirlooms you wan't in pictures? ) and delivers. The greatest thing about her pictures (in my opinion) is that she captures raw emotion throughout the entire day. So many people have told me (so it's not just me being biased!) that our pictures do an amazing job of capturing who we are as a couple...and Maria has an amazing gift for doing that. It's not fake or posed, it's real. If you want to remember your wedding day and all the joy it brought you...get Maria as your photographer. And also, she's just super fun to be around and you'll want to be her friend. Guaranteed.

I cannot gush enough about Maria! When looking at wedding photography, we couldn't help but notice the "cheese" factor in a lot of photographers work. We ended up originally choosing Maria because of her more journalistic style (read: candid) and I'm so glad we did. Not only did she photograph our day BEAUTIFULLY, but she really captured the true feel of the entire thing. On top of that, our number one comment that we got from our guests regarding our photographer was that they all thought she was our friend! She just blended into the party perfectly :) Can I also mention we planned our wedding from five states away? We tended to pick vendors who were the most responsive because, well, we kind of had to being so far away. Maria was always willing to hop on a quick Skype call, she responded to emails almost immediately and even went to the walk through at the venue the day before the wedding. It was such a relief to not have to stress about our photographer. We couldn't be happier with our choice to hire Maria.

Where to begin?! Maria is a good friend of ours and she traveled out to Colorado from Cleveland to shoot our engagement photos. I'm a photographer myself, so when we got engaged, I was a little disappointed that the only good photos we were able to take of ourselves, at that moment, were a handful of selfies. After that, we decided we really wanted to have our engagement photos taken at the spot where we got engaged, because it was so special to us. There was only one minor problem, it was on the top of some 800 foot sand dune. Maria is hands down awesome, this girl hiked all the way up with us! I mean, not just any photographer would go to such extent to make your vision a reality. She is incredible and her photos were exceptional! We couldn't be happier with the way they turned out and that we will forever have these memories. If that wash't going above and beyond, she also gave us two sessions, one in the sand dunes and the other in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. She put her heart and soul (and a lot of hiking) into it, between the dunes and waking up a 3 am to do a sunrise session in the mountains. Need I say more? We had so much fun with Maria! She is polite, courteous, kind and always made us feel comfortable while we worked through poses, as we often didn't know what we were suppose to do with ourselves. And she is a speedy editor and had our photos ready within no time! I can't say enough good things about her, any bride would be lucky to have her as their photographer!

Maria was excellent in every way. She was extremely flexible to work with in both communication and payment method; this was very helpful as we were planning an Ohio wedding while living in North Carolina. We were also extremely pleased with the quality of the photos we received from her. Shes possesses a great ability to capture the authentic feel of a moment on our wedding without interfering at all. She also went the extra mile to put a very professional yet personal touch on her services, my wife and I enjoyed her very thoughtful gift of a movie and popcorn in the stressful months prior to our wedding.

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Maria Sharp as our wedding photographer. I've had little to no experience with photographers in the past and was planning a wedding on a fairly strict budget. We placed a very high value on getting a good photographer for our wedding because we knew this was one of the most important investments we would make. After reaching out to a few people, we found Maria through a friend. I instantly loved her portfolio and could tell she places high value on her work. During the process she did her research to help me and my fiancé select photo locations, and get a better sense of who we are as a couple and what we wanted from our photos. Maria exceeded all of our expectations and really captured everything we wanted. She has a great eye and made us feel relaxed and comfortable under her guidance. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a Cleveland wedding photographer.

I truly don't even know where to start my review. My husband and I knew Maria as an acquaintance (through one of my bridesmaids) for 5-6 years now. Once we got engaged and were deciding on a wedding photographer, it wasn't long before we booked Maria. I can easily say that was one of the best decisions we made in the entire planning process! We had a long engagement and a lot of planning ahead of us--Maria was there to help along the entire way. She was available to lend opinions, provide knowledge, and be a wonderful listening ear! Booking Maria definitely brought us closer together as friends, and I will forever cherish that. As for the photography itself, I am blown away each time I look at our pictures! We receive so so many compliments on the quality of both our engagement and wedding pictures (and that definitely gives me even more reason to show anyone with eyes!) Maria's style and technique were exactly what we were looking for. She made sure that we were comfortable with all decisions made and all of the suggested poses. Maria would guide us into a pose but then allow us to be ourselves while she became a fly on the wall. This led us to the most amazing pictures! Maria truly captured the real us: all the laughs, smiles, looks, and love. I would (and do) recommend Maria to anyone and everyone! She puts her entire self into both her work and her clients, and welcomes puppies to join! :)

I met with Maria several times prior to the wedding to discuss what all we were interested in seeing in the pictures, what was important to us, the general tone. From the start, she takes the time to really understand what you're looking for and builds off of that. When I looked at her portfolio online, I remember thinking - that's what I want. It looks like a movie - the art of the shots, the story. She's most interactive with group shots, arranging everyone to make for the best composition and then leaving them alone until everyone becomes very comfortable and forgets she's there - meaning you're going to get really amazing pictures of your bridal party. Then for the bride/groom shots, we were in garden - she just let us get a few paces ahead of her and take a walk. The way she lets you get comfortable and then captures those moments in which you forget anyone is watching - it leads to such beautiful pictures. Just look at her portfolio. She's an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. She'll work with you to make sure you get exactly what you want from beginning to end. I would recommend her to anyone.
