Maria's Goumet Catering

I loved Maria's food! Her food is so good, and all my guest were questioning who I had cater, that they enjoyed the food! Her service on the other hand needs work! She can be very helpful and sometimes a bit to helpful. She's likes to be a little controlling and tell you "what you need and how to do things".....I think the person who is paying you has the say so of how things are to be done. They tend to tell you how you should do it, because that's how she wants it done, because it's easier on them. I know this because I know a really good friend of Maria's and she told me to be careful with her. You have to set your standards with her, and tell her this is my wedding and this is how I want it done. She is very helpful don't get me wrong, she asked me a lot of things that I totally forgot about, but if there is something you don't want she will try and agonize as to "what about...if you don't then"..... I didn't like that. As far as her caterers that came out to the wedding, they left without there money, even my husband running down the driveway to catch them and they left. Maria has been calling me and harrasing me saying her caterers are harrassing her because they want paid. I told her listen, I live 40 mins from you, I can't just stop what i'm doing and bring you the money when they should have got there money before they left, so I will mail you a check!! Her husband has caused a lot of other problems with a lot of other brides, and writing nasty emails because he wants there wedding his way. Just not a stable, good company to deal with. I will more than likely will not suggest them to friends or family for catering, but to order there food only and just pick it up. There business needs work!

Working with Maria is a pure joy. She is talented, experienced, extremely friendly and exceptionally funny. She provided great advice about a well-rounded menu for our eighty guests and she made sure to keep our budget in mind. I highly recommend Maria's Catering for rehearsal dinner, reception, or other party-giving needs.

Maria is flexible and honest! The food is outstanding and she knows what she is doing....she has owned multiple restaurants.

We had a decent experience with Maria's. We ended up being overcharged for a mistake that wasn't ours. It ws a little difficult getting the money back, which we didn't get all back. Food was good and their servers were great!
