For Houston Medical Center patients she offers cuts and styles to their cancer patients : FREE shaving scalp before the chemo . Our owner Maria del Rosario likes to do the job herself and give the customer a V.I.P attention. It's a different way to do business with Elegance, quality , privacy and unique personal touch! Maria del Rosario has many different expertise and one of them is hairstyles for special occasions (up do’s), she uses top of the line products and latest techniques and much more with all different types of hair! Our owner has trained and updates often in Spain, France, England and U.S.A

I have been a client of Maria’s for years. I love my hair cuts and recently she has been doing my color. I’ve always been nervous about coloring my hair but she has done an amazing job. Maria has been my hair stylist for many years. She is very professional, personable, and also keeps abreast of the new techniques for treating and coloring hair. Not only I trust her with my hair, which is a lot, but also I enjoy her time with me, and her ways to make each client especial.

Lovely Hair do, I could not be any happier! Maria's hair design is an impecable salon located in the Rice Village area. From the moment you walk in you cannot help but to notice the cleanliness & nice vibe of the cozy salon. You are immediately greeted by your stylist Maria who has previously reserved your hair appointment just for you, no one else but you and your stylist in the salon. I knew at this point this was a great beginning, nothing like having such personalized treatment, I felt like a celebrity for a moment. Then I was taken into the washing area for a lovely hair shampoo and conditioning. The products are amazing!!, leaving your hair feeling silky, so smooth & soft and with a lovely scent & if you want to splurge, Maria has organic products as an option as well. Finally it came the time for the blow dry and updo. Maria had so many suggestions and ideas. Being that I can be very undecissive with my looks, I truly appreciated how she made every thing less stressful. Maria helped me find the right hair up do for the place and occasion. I truly recommend Maria's Hair Salon from being an impeccable place with a lovely atmosphere, where you can have a one to one experience with your stylist, someone who is very attentive to your needs and who also has many years of experience.
