t personality, is timely, proficient with various hair styles. She came and did our hair on site and had everything needed. We loved her and she added to the fun of the day. We had a hair trial and she was so sweet and I felt completely comfortable sitting back and relaxing while she did my hair. I love that her hair styles are soft and romantic and don’t look crisp or crunchy. We would absolutely recommend her to any future brides or large groups in the St. Augustine or Jacksonville area.

Second, I have worked with ALL types of skilled makeup artists (being in the entertainment business and a bridesmaid in like 12 weddings), and I was NEVER completely content or pleased with the final outcome. I could ALWAYS find flaws and little things I had to go back over and correct. But with Maite—I am not exaggerating when I say how PERFECT she did my makeup. All my life I had perfect, porcelain skin, until a few months BEFORE my wedding when I started to get THE WORST, witch-like ACNE of my life (a serious warning of health issues—I had no idea that I had at the time). A girl’s worst nightmare (especially before her wedding). Plus, it’s was the kind of acne that would make you cry from frustration and the actual stinging, shooting pain it caused. And Maite did my makeup BETTER (when I had acne), than any other makeup artist ever did (when I had perfect skin). As ugly as my skin naturally looked, Maite skillfully worked to make me feel and look beautiful on my big day. If it wasn’t for her, it would have been a mess. She captured my eyes beautifully and made my skin look glowy and SMOOTH (for outdoor pictures). I’m still in shock at how she did it. She has a true gift and talent for making even ugly things look beautiful. Third, she is so kind and so sweet. She could have easily made comments at the unpleasant condition my skin was in, but she graciously applied the makeup with such precision and cleverness with her bubbly and captivating personality. Oh and did I mention how awesome she is??? She is such a cool girl!!! She is down-to-earth, loving, and FUN to be around. I really enjoyed our time together, and she definitely made my wedding day a blessing.

esmaids. She was very flexible with getting me in for a make-up and hair trial and spent plenty of time with me that day to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. She even fit my mom in a few days before the wedding to get in a last minute make-up trial. A week before the wedding I changed my mind on a couple things regarding my make-up and the day of the wedding she was able to make my make-up exactly the way I wanted! I don't wear foundation at all but the make-up and airbrush felt so light and natural. I had a very early ceremony (11:00am) and Maria Teresa and her assistant were able to do 6 bridesmaids up-dos (with braids and curls!), my hair (curled half-up/half-down with braids) and my make-up, as well as my mom's hair and make-up all in about 4-4.5 hours! She even came on-site to where we were getting ready in a hotel. They were organized, on time and everyone looked amazing! We had so much fun in the morning getting ready and I did not feel stressed at all, I trusted that she would get everyone done in time and she did! I am picky about my make-up and hair and she knew exactly what I was picturing in my head and it turned out perfect! I had a breakout too that I was worried about but she covered it up great. My make-up lasted all night and my veil and hair stayed in perfect even with tons of dancing! I highly recommend Maria Teresa for hair and make-up! She did a great job and was so amazing to work with!

I was "dropped" by two salons before I found Maite because they had over-booked and were unable to do what they had initially promised. I was very stressed but now I am so happy it happened because I found a true professional with extreme talent in Maite. She came to our hotel in Lancaster, which was also so much better then having to go to and from a salon. I will use her for all my future hair and make up appointments, and I would recommend her to my closest family and friends.
