What a great studio to go to for all your bridal needs! I am a MOG and I explained to the gal who helped me Theresa, not knowing she was owner, what I was looking for and she came out with 4 dresses. All so beautiful!! Tried on 2nd dress and fell in love with it.
This is definitely the place to go to. Theresa is very calming, extremely educated in her profession and very professional! I was so relaxed dealing with her and never rushed for a moment.
Believe me, make this cute shop a priority as you will not be disappointed 5 stars
The owner provided us with the best wedding dress shopping possible. She knew exactly what we asked for and she didn’t disappoint.
Excellent customer service, professionalism and wedding dresses knowledge. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

The owner Theresa was so incredibly knowledgeable in her field and knew what looked best on my body type. She was the only bridal salon who wanted to help me find a non lace, form fitting, dress with sleeves. Did you know Casablanca is one of the only dress companies in the US that offers the option to swap out different parts of their dresses to let their customers create their own dream wedding dress? Mine was 2 different dresses with Italian satin that didn't easily snag or wrinkle. I had no idea I could do or afford this option. She measured me, contacted Casablanca, they drew me a sketch, I got to make changes and resubmit then I agreed, put a deposit down and was contacted immediately when it was ready for try on. When it came alteration time she was front and center making sure everything looked perfect. We even had enough time to add a small belt which helped the dress pop!
I was looking for a special gown for my second wedding. I thought I knew what type of gown I was looking for, but boy was I wrong! The owner of the salon, Theresa was awesome to deal with. She listened to me and brought out gowns for me that I thought I would like. I tried them on but none of them were "the" dress. Theresa brought out a gown and just asked me to try it on. It was not the style I was originally looking for but I decided to try it on. When I did, I couldn't believe my eyes. It was the perfect dress and it brought tears to my eyes! I cannot say enough about this bridal salon and their personal service! I attached a photo of the dress I ended up getting. It is pure beauty and I love it! I highly recommend this bridal salon if you are looking for personal attention without breaking the bank!
My bridal party and I shopped at Marie Antoinettes for bridesmaid dresses and everything was perfect. All of my girls looked beautiful and found dresses they were comfortable and happy with. They made the shopping enjoyable and seamless and even the different styles and colors all went together so well. I highly recommend them for any bridal attire needs!
I cannot say enough good things about Marie Antoinette. I had been to three other boutiques before I found them, and regret not going to them first. They have the most beautiful gowns (my wedding gown was a Maggie Sottero that I wish I could wear it every day) and the entire experience of picking a dress was so pleasant with them. Teresa is fantastic. She was wonderful about listening to what I was looking for and gave such helpful input when I felt any indecision.
I planned my wedding from California and they helped me every step of the way from ordering bridesmaids dresses to scheduling fittings for when I would be visiting home.
Jen was so helpful with picking out accessories like jewelry and a veil. And Pia is a magician! She made the most beautiful 3-tiered bustle on my gown, but more importantly she worked wonders on my pregnant bridesmaid's dress. We were afraid we'd have to buy an entirely new dress, but Pia was able to rework the entire dress... you could not even tell it was not bought as a maternity gown! All in all, I had such a great experience at Marie Antoinette. I cannot thank them enough and I highly recommend!!!
As many brides already know, the wedding gown is pretty much the staple of the wedding. I actually bought a dress at Alfred Angelo in Manchester prior to buying my dress from Marie Antoinette's. Obviously I had issues with AA related to their seamstress and her demeanor. After receiving such poor service at AA, I felt like a queen when I went to Marie Antoinette's! Since I had a limited time to get a gown and have it altered, I was a bit concerned that Marie Antoinette's would not be able to help me, but they totally blew me away with the final result. Their seamstress, Miss Josephine, is one of a kind, and will truly be missed when she retires. I went from receiving the worst service at AA to the best service at Marie Antoinette's! Miss. Josephine gave me clear expectations on what she could do in this time period, and exceeded all of them! I have to say she made me the happiest bride ever! And I also have to mention that the staff is very accommodating and they all treat you with the best service possible, ensuring all of their brides leave happy!
After looking in many stores I finally found the dress I loved at Marie Antoinette's. The only thing I wasn't thrilled about was the service. They were never very friendly and never remembered me even though I went in there about a dozen times throughout the whole process. Overall, I did love my dress and was very happy with the price of it.
I LOVED my wedding dress, however, I did feel they were a bit expensive in comparison to other bridal salons I went to. My initial visit was fabulous and the rooms upstairs were very spacious, however, every appointment after that was in a downstairs room that was significantly smaller, hot and not well lit. Their hours are a bit difficult to work with if you have bridesmaids from out of town trying to get there after work, but we were able to make it work. My dress was amazing and the bustling was great!
I found Marie Antoinette after visiting two other bridal salons. I remember going in thinking that the service would be as the others, they could not help me and I would leave without a dress. I was so WRONG!!! She sat and asked me what was my vision, did I have any idea and brought three dresses for me to try on...dress #3 was it! From the moment I found the dress to the day I picked it up for my wedding...the staff were unlike anything I every seen or experience. They made me feel like I was the only bride in the world. For every call and unexpected visit, they accommodated me. We even rented our groom and groomsmen tuxedos from them. They are the best in the business.
This little shop doesn't look like much from the outside but their service was great and they had a large selection of bridal gowns and other dresses. They were helpful and pleasant to work with. I was able to get my alterations done right in the shop at a reasonable price.
The ladies who work there are amazing, they were super friendly and very attentive. The seamstress is amazing at what she does. She saved my mother from having a mother of the bridzilla moment!
The dress was amazing! The help was helpful. The alteration were expensive and not done on the day I need to pick it up. I was missing a hook for the back of my dress so it kept falling down a litle. I was so hoping that for the expense I paid for the alteration would be perfect but it was not.
I went to MA for my first bridal dress hunt (way before I was mentally or physically ready, but my family was out visiting and it was the only time to get 3 BMs in the same room at the same time). Not only did they keep the shop open late for me on a Friday, she really listened to my feedback (and used it on subsequent trips into the closet) and was patient as my mother and sister spent an obnoxious amount of time scouring over each dress. She even offered to keep the 2 "maybes" on a watch list for me in case they are discontinued between now and when I need to order (6 months down the road). She knew each designer's quirks and habits well, and her knowledge helped me visualize what was and was not possible with each line.
I have since gone to two other local shops recommended by friends and coworkers and realized just how much of a jewel MA is!
Marie Antoinette’s was great. They weren’t pushy like many other bridal salons we went to. The consultant was very knowledgeable. They didn’t have the Maggie Sottero I had originally wanted but they did offer to get it from another bridal salon, but I ended up getting a different Maggie dress. They were very helpful. We got all of the bridesmaid’s dresses there as well. There were only a few drawbacks, their hours , especially in the winter months aren’t the greatest. They are only opened until 5pm most days, and only are opened late on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 7pm, which can make it difficult for those who work a 9-5pm, and they don’t do alterations on the weekends, either. Also, my dress was 2 months late coming in. it wasn’t a problem since I ordered it well in advance, so I would recommend ordering at least 9-12 months before your wedding. Overall, I was pleased with the customer service I received from them.
These ladies have great taste and will dress you perfectly for whatever occasion or role you play in that occassion. Beautiful selection of gowns, and the alterations were fantastic! This is where you wanna get your wedding dress!
Employees are rude and miserable. Never smiling, always making up excuses to their mistakes. The owner measured me and my bridesmaids incorrectly. My bridal dress came in too short, had to be shipped back across seas and was not in until 1-2 months prior to my wedding. My junior bridesmaids dress came in in a different style than I chose and they argued with me and told me that I was wrong and that I had chosen that style when I know I didn't. My bridesmaids seemed uncomfortable the day of my wedding, some dresses too tight, some too big, too long, etc. They have one seamstress and making fitting appointments was very difficult. At the fittings, the seamstress did not listen to your opinion and the way you felt in the dress, she altered it to the way she wanted it to be altered and didn't take in your perspective our feelings about it.
I live less than 5 minutes from the salon, so the convenience was great. My dress came in on time. For my final fitting they had me down for the wrong date. They literally were adjusting my dress while I was still in it.
Well, the custom hem on my dress was mis-measured. They did their best to fix it, though it completely blew my mind how a 5'-1" woman could be given a gown that was 6" too short.
I did feel that their alteration costs were high.
I did not feel that the top of my dress fit right, and they argued that it was the way it is suppose to fit. I can see the error in my pictures ... but what can you do? My wedding was amazing and I am not going to let a few wrinkles in the top of my dress take that away. The gown was beautiful... and no one in the area carried anything like it.
I have been going here for prom dresses and other weddings and used them for my wedding dress and bridemaids dresses. They are wonderful here! They are so helpful and the seamstress us amazing! For my prom she took a size 16 dress with sleeves and made it into a size 4 with a low V back and diamond straps. My wedding dress was also one of a kind and had a bustle that she had never done before. It had over 80 hooks for the bustle and took 3, 3+ hour sessions to get the bustle perfect and how I wanted it. Im not sure she will ever do another again but her work is amazing and not overpriced at all!! We have heard storries of how much alterations cost and for that bustle it was next to nothing for the amount of work put into it. They are so friendly and helpful and really work to have what you want perfectly done! I wouldnt go anywhere else!
When my friend was married in October 09 we did the bridal shop hop. We went to every bridal shop in CT practically. When we walked into Marie Antoinettes the ladies greeted us and were very pleasurable that we decided we wanted to deal with this shop. After trying on what seemed like a million dresses she found the "one" We then ended up buying our bridesmaids dresses and her mothers gown there as well.
So of course when it was my turn we went back! The ladies remembered us and welcomed us back by on a first name basis. Theresa helped me find the perfect wedding gown, it was completely different from what i went in wanting but was very open minded and allowed her to show me what she "thought" would look good on me. and it was!! Then when we came downstairs Alisha helped us try on bridemaids and found the perfect one to compliment my gown.
We bought everything from them 12 tuxedos (after convincing my husband that it wasnt just a girly store b/c it was pink.) invitations, both of our moms dresses, bridesmaids (shoes & jewelry) and of course my wedding gown!!! it was so awesome having a one stop shop, it made my life and planning super easy.
Alterations were reasonable. Compared to other places they were inexpensive. The seamstress Josephine is a saint. she has patience beyond belief and is a perfectionist. She wouldnt let us leave until everyone was happy including her. I am going to go back to her when i need jeans/ clothes altered.
Now another friend is getting married in march and we are back for round three!! We are so happy we will come back everytime and not waste our time shopping around!! If you want a one stop shop go to marie antoinette. I promise you will love them as much as we do !!
This salon is horrible! I ordered my wedding dress and all my bridesmaid dresses here. My dress went very well until it came time for alterations, they were WAY over priced and when I wore the dress at my wedding it had pins in the train and the side of my dress which stuck me as I walked. Alteration prices arn't given until after the fact so you never know how much its going to come to. The salon gave my bridesmaids (who were from out of town) the wrong dresses! They gave them each others dresses. We had to express mail dresses the week of the wedding! Alterations were done to one of the bridesmaids dresses the MORNING of the wedding because they werent done in time (the shop wouldnt even open early to fix their mistake so one of the girls was late for pictures.) The dressed was chopped and thrown together and looked terrible! After the shop screwed up and gave out the wrong dresses they still charged a RIDICULOUS amount for alterations which we had no choice to accept because time constraints due to their mistake. Nothing is done by computer and everything is disorganized and sloppy. BEWARE!
I got my wedding dress from Marie Antionette Bridal Salon, and they really did have a nice selection of dresses. I had looked around for a while for dresses, and just happened to find the dress of my dreams at this store! The price was great too... I did call around to a few other stores in the state to see if they could beat the price on the same dress, and they were hundreds off!
The one problem I did have with them, was with the alterations. I have to say, the woman who altered my dress did a WONDERFUL job... when she finally got around to it!!! It could have been a one time thing, but when I went for my first fitting, the dress was not even STARTED! I live about 30 minutes away from the Salon, and my mom and I made a day out of going there, my sister also changed around her hair appointment to get there, and when we were all there (IN THE STORE!!!) they told us it wasn't ready. The least they could have done would have been to call us!! They didn't even offer a discount on the alterations either!
other than that, I would recommend going there to see if you can luck out like I did with a great dress for not too much money... but I woudl also recommend calling first before heading in for the alterations apt!
I recently got engaged, and even though my wedding is a ways off, I just couldn't resist taking a peek at some wedding gowns with my mom and a couple of my friends over the weekend. I was feeling discouraged because we had just come from another appointment at a bridal shop where the saleswoman was not only in a big hurry to try to make a sale, but every dress I tried on she said was "gorgeous"...even the ones I knew were really unflattering. Fortunately, the exact opposite happened at Marie Antoinette Bridal.
If you go to Marie Antoinette's, make sure you ask for Theresa; she is very helpful and made suggestions without being pushy. What really impressed me though is how honest her opinions were and how she seemed to know what would look good on me. I came in the store with a specific style in mind, but she was able to get me to step out of my comfort zone and try a couple different gowns. When I tried on 'THE' dress, my mom and I both started tearing up, and Theresa was there right away with the tissues! The result was that I wound up with a dress that is very different -but much better- than what I imagined.
The seamstress - she was amazing. She did everything I asked and the dress came out beautiful.
