received our photos we were disappointed and after reflecting for the last year we are angry that of 900+ photos, we only like 7! The work was sloppy - crooked shots and zero direction given when posing to ensure uniformity. We also found working with Marie challenging and so did many of my guests.
My husband and I did not have a good experience with Marie. Our original wedding date was 9/6/2020, but we had to change our date twice and cut a 300-person wedding down to 40 peo...
ple due to COVID. She would not allow us to use our $1500 retainer for the new date.
I understand the frustration on the vendors end with date changes, but this is an unprecedented time for everyone. The only thing she had to say to us was, "I thought you said no matter what you would have your wedding, even if no one shows up". After trying to explain to Marie that legally we were not allowed to have the wedding we initially planned, she became defensive and would not let us get a word in the phone conversation.
We were taken back by her attitude and told her to keep the retainer we paid her and that we no longer wanted to do business with her. There is no doubt Marie does great work, but we could not deal with her behavior or lack of empathy. My advice is to have every conversation in writing if you choose to work with her.

s you have these photos forever. Marie not only takes the most beautiful, amazing photos, she captures the essence of your entire day! In our case, she caught everything from our flower girl moping around while we were all getting ready, to the tears of joy shed during our first look. Marie is fabulous, and I can not thank her and Leslie enough for capturing all of the special moments in our special day!
Best part of all, we got 2 gigantic proof books, and two boxes of photos (I didn't count, but there has to be over 2,000 edited images between them) in a little under 3 weeks, so you don't have to be anxious to see your beautiful photos for long!
