Amanda, was so easy to work with; we felt comfortable with her from day one. She is super responsive to emails which is so wonderful during the stressful time of wedding planning. We had so much fun during our engagement shoot and loved all of the pictures; friends and family loved them too! The day of they were on time and got to work right away. I can't even begin to express how grateful I am that we chose Marie White Photography; our pictures are AMAZING!!! We have received so many compliments on them. They captured every moment of that day from start to finish; looking back at pictures we can relive that day so easily. Aside from capturing a day so special to us, they were also so helpful-from fixing my dress, veil, etc., to running to get things/people, to making us feel relaxed and confident in knowing they would get all of the pictures we wanted....we are so thankful! The day of our wedding Amanda and her team captured every special moment and we have so many amazing pictures of us and our guests to look back on. There were a few special pictures we wanted, such as an around the corner picture, and Amanda made sure they happened. to make them come to fruition. Prior to my wedding Amanda came up with numerous ideas that would capture me and husband in a way that would show both our love and personalities. Our engagement session was fun and Amanda was able find a tandem bike to use to incorporate our love of cycling. With the wedding, Amanda and the Marie White photography assistant were able to appease my Type A nature with detail regarding types of pictures and when while allowing time and opportunity to capture the spontaneous and intimate moments of our wedding. Having recently received our album, I am more than impressed, there are pictures I don't know how she was able to capture and I feel like through looking at the album I get to re-live the best day of my life all over again. She has a good idea for what looks good, but works with you completely. Also, she had a really quick turn around on my engagement pics, which I needed for my wedding invitations! her in Central Ohio. She really hones in on your personality type(s) to create a comfortable environment with photos that do not look "staged". What really set her apart, in my opinion, was that on our wedding day she wasn't just my photographer. Even though we had a wedding planner, Amanda (and her AWESOME assistant, Ellen) stepped up to the plate and became what I considered my "personal assistants". It was very very hot in our venue changing room and I really thought I was going to be sick. They made sure I had ice for my feet, a cocktail, water, etc...whatever it was I needed to be comfortable, they took care of it.
We haven't received our wedding albums yet, but our wedding photo proofs are absolutely stunning, both the candid and formal shots! She captured every minute of the day and these photos are memories we will look back on forever. I hope that one day when I have children Amanda will be around to capture that milestone too. I really cannot say enough good about her and Ellen. If you hire Marie White, you will not be disappointed!
