Mariel Boutique

While the main item purchased was the fabulous wedding gown, Mariel (now in Cherry Creek North) has an excellent staff who offered great ideas on everything from the accessories to cake ideas and a don't-miss referral to Sol for wedding dress undergarments (not the pretty kind, but the practical kind, although Sol has a lot of beautiful lingerie too). Definitely consider Mariel for your wedding dress/ensemble.

The service is great if it truly is your last stop to shop. The dress selections are beautiful but they come as is so you need a real good idea of what you want. Prices are way more doable than any other boutique! Vales there are great prices too!

I planned my wedding in 3 months, so I needed a dress quick. Mariel's has beautiful dresses. They are kept in glass locked cabinets, so only staff can handle them. They even require a face mask while trying things on, so no make-up gets on them. In a nutshell, they are as good as brand new. Ready to buy. Plus, Jenny is super sweet.

This is a small privately own boutique located in downtown Denver. It is also a clothing store that has a bridal salon in the back. The unique part of this boutique is that you buy the wedding dresses off the rack so they are significantly less than most bridal salons. The selection is unique and because it is a small store they only take on appointment at a time so you get great customer service as you are the only one that they are focusing on. While the selection isn't huge it is varied and there are a lot of different styles to choose from. They also have accessories indluding veils. The best part about this store is that because some of the dresses are so unique you know that there probably won't be another girl in the same exact dress. I know the designer of my dress is based in Canada so I am pretty confident that not too many other girls bought the same dress.;Because you buy the dresses off the rack you are not allowed to touch the gowns. You are asked to put gloves on as well as something over your head to that covers your head and face to prevent any makeup from getting on the dress. Because you are not allowed to touch anything the staff is in the dressing room with you and puts every dress on you for you. Also when you call to make an appointment they are adamant about you going to other stores first before you go to their store to make sure that you are ready to buy a dress. This is because they can't order in anything so if you aren't ready to make a purchase and leave without buying the dress you like they have no problem selling it to someone else. They can be a bit rude at first but overall they were pretty nice to work with.
