stine because she made the process so easy. I was a bride who had some idea of what she wanted but wanted to leave the dress selection up to the profession. Christine pulled a total of 10 gowns before I said yes to the dress. After every dress I put on, I would give feedback and then she would pull another dress based on my preferences until I found the one. 10/10 experience. We had our own private room and Macanna was my stylist. She asked what I was looking for and then pulled dresses that were EXACTLY what I wanted, plus a few that were a little bit different that she thought would fit the vibe....
Well, she was right! I ended up going with one of her picks and I love it. But I could have gone with any of the dresses she showed me. Macanna was amazing! I would recommend working with her and going to this salon to any bride.

ce we heard from Mariella’s about my dress, tried calling three times been told multiple times the dress was already made and shipped out and thats been over month now. My last call with them said I would get a call back the same day but its been 4 days since I last called them. They never call me back, I always have to call them. I’m sorry, if I’m spending 3K or more on a dress they can at least call me back and not have it be days later. They won’t let us cancel the dress since they said its already made. This is the worst wedding place I have ever been to. I know multiple people who canceled there wedding and was able to get a refund because it was due to a pandemic.

s been difficult for everyone including manufactures and boutiques. In your review we are disappointed that the facts are not accurate.
I have researched the correspondence that has transpired on your account .
I see that your original wedding date given when you ordered your wedding gown was 7/18/20. As the country shut down in March with COVID-19, we also had to shut our doors on 3/20/20. At that time we were working 3 days a week emailing all of our companies about shipments that were due . We also emailed all of our brides to check on wedding dates that were originally given, some brides were still getting married with just the immediate family but most brides canceled. Our companies and staff were working out of their homes. They were asking for list of weddings that were actually taking place. They were also limited on what could be shipped because they were not allowed into their factories. It was such a stressful time for everyone and we did not want to miss anyone’s wedding. Thankfully we did not.
The first email we sent to you was on 5/8/2020, asking if your wedding date was still 7/17/21. We do see that you gave us a new wedding date of 7/17/21.
You called on 1/18/21 checking on the shipping of your gown . I tried to leave you a voicemail, but your voicemail was full . Your gown was added to our “must ship list “ from our companies .
I also talked to you on 1/21/21. At this time you told be that the wedding was cancelled . You stated that you wanted to inquire about receiving a refund . I explained that because the gown was produced , we could not issue a refund because the company would not take the gown back. I did suggest that you could try to re-sell the gown. I also said that I would contact the company , and have your gown shipped asap . Once I have the tracking number I would forward that information to you.
In your review , you stated that you know multiple people, who cancelled their weddings , who received refunds due to the pandemic. I’m not sure if you are speaking about florists or makeup artists, but as far as Venues and bridal boutiques we cannot refund deposits with custom orders and also be left with the gown. The chances of another bride coming in and choosing the same gown in the same size and color rarely happens. Can you imagine if we had to refund all these deposits and pay the vendor for the merchandise and keep it in stock, we would go out of business.
If you would like, we can try to see if we can resell your gown in our store, if so than your deposit is refundable. We have sent you an email with the above information but we have not heard from you. We also tried calling you but your voice mail is still full. Hoping you see this response. Let's keep in touch.

She was so kind and friendly and brought in dresses based on the styles that I had shown her and that were also within my budget. The entire process was so enjoyable and fun. Every time I came back in for measurements or to look for bridesmaid dresses, the stylists were so friendly and helpful. And the dresses are beautiful! Their alterations apartment, Margie and Irena’s, did an excellent job! They were so friendly, very talented, and made sure I was speaking up about whether or not I was comfortable in my dress. worked with seemed more concerned with trends and making a sale than listening to what I actually wanted. It was as if she stopped listening as soon as she heard my budget, which was surprising given the huge selection at this shop. My future SIL purchased her gown here, and we had the same budget- she was able to try on a variety of designers and dresses. We were not able to look at gowns ourselves, which might have helped the consultant get a better sense of what I was looking for. When I showed her an idea saved on Pinterest, she quickly told me that the gown was double my budget- that's fine, because I never said I was looking for that EXACT gown. She didn't pull anything that was close to that style. Towards the end of the appointment, she described a dress that was a bit over budget and asked if I wanted to see it, so I said yes. My mother overheard her say to another employee that she didn't know why I wanted to see something outside of my budget. Then why would you suggest it? It ended up being the dress I liked most, but I was so uncomfortable that I had to think about it before committing. She told us she had written all the styles down for us, but never gave us any of that information (not sure if this is store policy). This meant I couldn't look at pictures online and get a sense for how other brides styled the gown. I ended up finding the perfect gown at a much smaller shop, by a designer that this shop carries but did not bother to show me during my appointment. Overall, it was a frustrating experience and really goes to show that the consultant you work with makes a huge difference in the experience you have. I'm glad to see other positive reviews from brides that had a great experience! It just wasn't mine, unfortunately.

They were always responsive and accommodating through the process. I just dropped my gown off with them to get shipped to preservation and they take care of everything. in, they didn't. My mom called a couple of times, was first told her gown wasn't in, called back a couple weeks later only to be told it had been there for a couple of months. Meanwhile, my bridesmaid's gown was well past the timeline they gave us. She was told that it was back ordered, and also that it was sitting in the warehouse. Either way, they weren't able to give her any real idea as to when it would be in. After a couple months of her calling, I finally called as panicked-bride-whose-wedding-is-2-months away and they produced the dress within 48 hours. They did tell me they would call me back to let me know, which they didn't, but they did reach out to my bridesmaid to let her know.
Again, the gowns are beautiful, they've a wonderful selection, and the ladies were nice enough when we were in the store. I just wasn't impressed with their communication, customer service, or timeliness around getting the dresses we ordered. It felt like they didn't care much once we'd already paid them.

my grandmother's dresses fits me, THE dress did not. *Cue stress.* After doing research and visiting several bridal salons, Christine at Mariella Creations helped me find the dress of my dreams! They were warm and welcoming to the small "entourage" that I brought with me, and it felt meaningful to say "yes to the dress" in front of them. The dress and veil were ordered in plenty of time and the pricing was very reasonable. When I ordered my dress, the consultant explained the dress can be ordered in three lengths. Standard (which fits someone 5'11"), 3 inches shorter (someone 5'8") or 5 inches shorter (5'6"). Since I am 5'6", they recommended I go with the 3 inch...
shorter length and get short heels but said I could get it hemmed if I wanted to wear flats. When it came in, it was WAY longer than 2 inch heel height. They refused to measure the length or admit that the dress came in wrong and kept brushing it off that there's no way to know for sure how long the dress will actually be when it comes in. Then why can they guarantee a dress size but not length? Why was this not said when ordering the dress? I had to pay $250 for hemming that I didn't budget in since I was assured it wouldn't have to be hemmed. They were extremely rude and unhelpful and I tell all of my friends and family to steer clear.

Hi Katie, I feel bad about this review.When you initially ordered your gown we did explain the gown comes standard length, 3" shorter at no charge, or 5" shorter at an extra charge. We never equated height versus length of gown. Meaning stand...
ard is hollow of neck to hem 59" not for someone 5'11". At the time of ordering the gown, 5" shorter which is a length of 54" ,would have been too short. You preferred the option of 3" shorter at no charge and adjust your heels for the length of the gown or have it hemmed at the alterations department if it was too long. We always state each gown is made individually so there can be a slight variance in length. Meaning slightly shorter or slightly longer. This statement is directly from the company and written on their sizing chart. When we receive a brides wedding gown we measure the length to make sure the length is correct before notifying the bride, your gown was 56" in length. I just checked your invoice when we received your gown just to make sure the company did not make a mistake and it does states 3" shorter. I wish I had an answer why it was long but you also decided to wear flats instead of heels. We want all our Brides to be happy and I would like to discuss this matter with you. At your convenience please give me a call and let's see what we can do to help you with your alteration fee. Congratulations, Mariella

On the other hand, the bridesmaids had a more difficult time, as some of the dresses were ordered in the wrong size, due to them not being able to be physically measured in store. I tried these on again to see how I felt in them compared to one another. When I picked my top choice, Christine said how after knowing me just for that time it really did seem like it was a good fit for me/my personality. She knows her stuff - she was totally right! I got to walk around the upstairs room to see the dress from all angles and see how it looked and felt when I walked around. During measurements, Mariella double checked everything herself to be sure I would get the best size for me. I never felt rushed or pressured to make a purchase. On top of all that, it was snowing when we went to make the purchase, and a man who was there to pick up an employee brushed the snow off of our car. They promised me it would come out a certain way but when the dress came, the customization was completely wrong. Not only did they deny over and over that they didn't suggest the customization that I wanted, they kept trying to over compliment the dress that looked terrible to hide their mistake. It was so hard to work with to try to get it fixed! Thank goodness the place they use for alteration performs miracles!

I went in with an idea in my head of what I wanted, but after trying a few dresses in that style Christine saw that it was not working out, and pulled some dresses that she thought would be perfect - one of which was! She was professional, and gave her honest opinions right along with my mom and sisters, which was appreciated. I liked that fact that they select dresses and bring them to you, as I personally would be overwhelmed searching racks and racks of dresses. The only thing I would suggest is really getting a proper estimate of the time it will take for the dress to come in - when I ordered they told me about 6-7 months...and my dress didn't come in until almost 9 months later. I was on their "red list", so they were aware that the dress was delayed, but I made sure to diligently follow up with them to keep on top of it. Once the dress did arrive, I had my alterations done in their alteration department, and that experience was fantastic. The ladies are so kind and really work with you to alter your dress perfectly. Overall, I would definitely recommend Mariella Creations!

l grain of salt, because you never know who is on the other side of the computer and what their behavior was like entering the salon. I can imagine it is not easy running a hugely successful bridal store and there will always be a few cranky customers that you can never make happy no matter how hard you try. Bridal salons are BUSY, so it is to be expected that there will be other customers in the store at the same time as you and you may need to share a mirror here or there. You’re a future bride, not a Princess ;) Ok, now I will review Mariella’s :) Because they are amazing and you should definitely get your dress from here.
I dropped my dress off for cleaning yesterday and I was genuinely very sad that it was “over”! From the very first phone call, to the first bridal appointment, and every single correspondence and visit in between, every aspect of the process was incredibly smooth and positive. Mariella herself is such a beautiful person and the passion just radiates from her! My mother got her wedding dress from Mariella’s 37 years ago and her experience was just as positive. The entire staff is very efficient and caring, not to mention they all have an incredible eye in finding the right dress and matching jewelry beautifully! They have excellent partners that they work with, which provided me with so much ease and comfort throughout the whole year of my engagement. I was incredibly pleased with the alterations department that they use, Margie and Irene’s, as they are just as passionate and caring as the Mariella’s crew.
My dress was absolutely flawless on the day of my wedding. It truly felt like the dress was made just for me! I can’t recommend Mariella’s enough. For being such an incredibly busy bridal salon, they can still manage to be as personable as they are and truly care for their clients. It makes a huge difference in today’s world! I have recommended them time and time again because they are deserving of such positive recognition. For all of the future brides in my life, I am sending them running to Mariella’s for their dresses because I know they will be just as happy as I was :)

When I first went to look at gowns the associate who helped me asked if I had a wedding Pinterest board which – like any modern bride – I did! She looked through my Pinterest board to get an idea of the style I was aiming for and pulled a selection of gowns for me to try on. The very first gown I tried on was the one! A classic, timeless, Pronovias. She made the process so stress free and enjoyable; I am so grateful to have had such a positive experience. They made rude comments under their breath to each other that we heard clearly! So unprofessional and disrespectful, I was never more disgusted! They squeezed us in a dressing room with another bridal party four other women! We were stepping over each other to look in the mirrors and show each other the dresses we were trying on. We had absolutely no help from the staff in regards to trying on the gowns. We actually had to come out of my dressing rooms half dressed to help each other get zipped up properly (don't forget we were sharing dressing rooms with strangers on top of that). I would NOT recommend this bridal shop to my worst enemy. Thankfully our party went to a beautiful and professional boutique the day before the Mariella's experience or I think our spirits for dress shopping would have been completely different! If i could give zero stars I would have.

ectly polite, though not overly helpful. I already had to buy the dress, so I guess it's not their problem at that point. What really bothered me is that when I was checking out, a bride came in to return a belt she had purchased there. She explained that she had bought it for her wedding, but the moment she put it on on her wedding day, it fell apart. A sales woman with dark curly hair told her she could not return it as all sales were final, but that the store would repair it. The bride explained that she didn't need it repaired--the wedding was over and she had no use for it. The sales woman repeated that all sales were final. Now, if Mariella's wants to stick to that policy strictly, that's their right. However, I can't respect a business that would sell someone a shoddy product and then not provide a refund. I am recently engaged and had planned to make an appointment at Mariella's to shop for my dress, but not now. I hope the $100 or so that they saved not refunding that belt was worth the thousands of dollars of business that they lost from me and my seven bridesmaids.

ns department is also wonderful. Marcella's would've gotten 5 stars from me, except for one thing. The communication is not the best. My dress was ordered in October 2015, and I did not hear anything again from Mariella's. I called in May and in June, and no one knew what was happening with my dress. Finally, a woman did, and she said that my dress was finally being shipped. It did not arrive until 2 months until my wedding date in August. In the end everything worked out wonderfully!

in the ordering process. They help me get fitted to the right size. Yhe alterations were done very well too. It only took me three appointments (which is the typical amount). Every time I went back in the dress was altered as we had discussed. It was cleaned and pressed before I picked it up for the big day. I also went through their preservation department to have my dress preserved. I have not received it back yet but hopefully everything turns out great with that.
One downfall: A tule layer on my dress came down during my reception. I ended up stepping on the dress because of that causing a few tears. The alteration department said they cold fix it no problem and make it good as new. We will see how it looks when I receive the dress back from preservation.

ted and pointed in the right direction of where to begin our dress search. We were so happy with the large selection, we were like kids in a candy shop. We quickly found several gowns, which is easy to do because they have so many beautiful gowns and dresses to choose from. We were then helped into a fitting room, and someone was there the whole time to assist us in any way we needed. The first dress I tried on fit like a glove, it was absolutely beautiful! All the ladies that worked in the shop came over to see me in it, they made me feel so amazing. I tried on a few more, but honestly the first dress was the one. It was a Terri John dress, stunning. The only alterations that were needed was a slight hem and some cups needed to be added up top, as I am slightly lacking in that department. Their alterations department was awesome, very professional and their work impeccable. You can also rent or purchase the men's tuxes from them and they have a large selection of Bridesmaids, Jr. Bridesmaids, Flower Girl Dresses and Bridal Gowns. We wish we had found them before we had placed the order for the Bridesmaids dresses at another store. Start with Mariella Creations before you go anywhere else, the place is wonderful!
