ou have left a review for us on the Knot . We feel very badly about this. We strive to make all our customers happy. During this year of Covid-19 it has been difficult for everyone including manufactures and boutiques. In your review we are disappointed that the facts are not accurate. I have researched the correspondence that has transpired on your account . I see that your original wedding date given when you ordered your wedding gown was 7/18/20. As the country shut down in March with COVID-19, we also had to shut our doors on 3/20/20. At that time we were working 3 days a week emailing all of our companies about shipments that were due . We also emailed all of our brides to check on wedding dates that were originally given, some brides were still getting married with just the immediate family but most brides canceled. Our companies and staff were working out of their homes. They were asking for list of weddings that were actually taking place. They were also limited on what could be shipped because they were not allowed into their factories. It was such a stressful time for everyone and we did not want to miss anyone’s wedding. Thankfully we did not. The first email we sent to you was on 5/8/2020, asking if your wedding date was still 7/17/21. We do see that you gave us a new wedding date of 7/17/21. You called on 1/18/21 checking on the shipping of your gown . I tried to leave you a voicemail, but your voicemail was full . Your gown was added to our “must ship list “ from our companies . I also talked to you on 1/21/21. At this time you told be that the wedding was cancelled . You stated that you wanted to inquire about receiving a refund . I explained that because the gown was produced , we could not issue a refund because the company would not take the gown back. I did suggest that you could try to re-sell the gown. I also said that I would contact the company , and have your gown shipped asap . Once I have the tracking number I would forward that information to you. In your review , you stated that you know multiple people, who cancelled their weddings , who received refunds due to the pandemic. I’m not sure if you are speaking about florists or makeup artists, but as far as Venues and bridal boutiques we cannot refund deposits with custom orders and also be left with the gown. The chances of another bride coming in and choosing the same gown in the same size and color rarely happens. Can you imagine if we had to refund all these deposits and pay the vendor for the merchandise and keep it in stock, we would go out of business. If you would like, we can try to see if we can resell your gown in our store, if so than your deposit is refundable. We have sent you an email with the above information but we have not heard from you. We also tried calling you but your voice mail is still full. Hoping you see this response. Let's keep in touch.
