e are so pleased with the vibrancy, excitement, and composition of our photos, and our guests have echoed how impressed they were. We would absolutely Marielle in a heartbeat to any of our friends or others who are planning on engagement, wedding, reception, or other event photos. In fact, when my second daughter got engaged, my first phone call was to Marielle to see what days she was available, and we chose my daughter’s wedding date based on Marielle’s availability. That’s how much we love her! One of my daughters was determined to get her bridals taken with wildflowers, and it wasn’t a time of year for wildflowers. But that didn’t stop Marielle. She searched all over and found a small grouping of flowers and somehow was able to make it look like they were in a field of wildflowers. She will do what it takes to capture exactly what the bride wants. I love looking at the pictures and reliving the two different wedding days because Marielle captured them both perfectly. She understood the different personalities of each of my daughters and took pictures that went with those personalities. Her own personality is so easy going and she makes everyone feel like they’re her best friend. I think that’s the thing that I actually love most about her. Who wouldn’t want a “best friend” taking pictures of their wedding day, and then she’s an awesome photographer on top of that!

Bonus note - She even sang Frozen songs to make my 2 yr old niece crack a smile.

She has an incredible eye for finding spectacular settings (she even had my husband and I sneak into a field next to our wedding venue), and perfectly captures people looking natural and comfortable. Marielle was a joy to work with and made my husband and I feel completely at ease, and was a wonderful presence to have around on our wedding day. She was very efficient and organized at coordinating our family and bridal party for group shots, and brought a great positive energy to the day. She was especially great with getting the kids in our families to laugh and be patient throughout the photo session. She was extremely easy to communicate with throughout the entire process, and I was especially excited that she sent us a sneak peek of about 30 wedding photos the night of the wedding (most photographers will only send a handful!). ime and was dressed well for the occasion. She was very organized and helped keep the schedule we had set. We actually were running ahead of schedule! Marielle was also so fun during the whole process and made us feel comfortable and relaxed. All in all, it was a great experience!

We did our engagement shoot, which my, now husband, was not excited for, and it turned into an amazing day! She made my husband so calmed and relaxed and made us giggle and laugh through it all. It was wonderful. Through out the planning process she let me go through different ideas, and photos I wanted to capture which was great. Day of she was prompt and on time, and knew exactly what to do to get it all in since it was such a busy day. She captured so many great moments, and I have only seen the sneak peak thus far. I can not wait to see the full set!! Definitely going to use her for anniversaries and maternity shoots!!

estions about the different packages - she was very helpful in explaining the different options, and we ultimately wanted a second photographer for slightly longer, and she was flexible in crafting a custom package that fit our needs. We talked with Marielle about a week before the wedding - we gave her a timeline, and she had great recommendations on adjustments that would allow us to get the photos we wanted. On our wedding day, time flew by - but Marielle and her assistant were helpful in capturing special moments. We didn't want to do a first look, which means we had to do all group photos after the ceremony. Marielle was super efficient at getting all the family photos we needed, even in a shortened time. We were married up at Squaw Valley, so we wanted some photos in a field near the ceremony site, and Marielle and her assistant trekked out into the sagebrush to get the photos - and they are STUNNING. Marielle really went the extra mile, and the photos are incredible. I love how natural and happy we look, and Marielle is so talented at capturing the beauty of the outdoors- and the light is amazing in her photos. On top of everything, she sent us a "sneak peek" the night of the wedding (she drove all the way home, edited photos, and sent us a few!) We have been looking at them non-stop since, completely thrilled with the way everything came out. Thank you, Marielle!
