The Tasting:
My fiancé, his father, his sister and I went to the tasting, it was easy to schedule and during the tasting they left us alone to discuss what we liked and didn't like. Afterwards the lady asked us what we thought of each dish and genuinely seemed to care and take notes. They also had 3 separate linen arrangements set out with our wedding colors!
The Wedding:
The food tasted just like it did during the tasting and was absolutely delicious. They also served our separately catered cupcakes and the guests loved that the servers asked people if they would prefer chocolate or vanilla
What We Ordered:
For cocktail hour we got the vegan potstickers, chicken empanadas, steak crostinis, and smashed potatoes. For dinner we got beef, chicken, steelhead trout and polenta cake
The Special Requests:
My fiancé and I love the taste of steelhead trout (it is fatty and delicious) and Marigold catering was able to get it for us, for both the tasting and the wedding. We also had a couple of vegans at our wedding and Marigold was able to accommodate them for cocktail hour, dinner and dessert. They really went above and beyond for the vegan dessert and gave the vegans a plate with three separate desserts!! Our cake lady didn't have any vegan options so Marigold made my life is easy when they said they would be able to handle our guests with dietary restrictions
The Personal Touch:
Marigold is a local catering company and I felt throughout the process of working with them that they really cared and wanted to make our day as special as they possibly could. Throughout the dinner they made sure our drinks were filled and they even had a plate of the appetizers waiting at our table in case we were too busy during cocktail hour to try them
The Leftovers:
We ordered a couple of extra meals in case we had last minute guests, but the amount of leftovers was incredible. All of our guests loved the food and for our local and Airbnb guests they were so happy that they got to eat the dinner food again
The Handoff:
Our catering coordinator needed to leave but handed us off to another coordinator effectively and got her up to speed so well that we didn't need to do any extra work

My only wish for Marigold is that we could have used them for more of our wedding!
Marigold was fantastic. Food is so good and they go above and beyond to make sure all the food items are met. Very flexible!
