Moments Matter: Marilyn captured precious moments to create everlasting memories. Her photos of my son's wedding illustrated a fun filled, fabulous weekend with family & friends. ...
The pictures tell the story of that special time. Marilyn is a real pro and absolute pleasure to work with. She is on time, knows her surroundings, is unobtrusive but gets the perfect shot. Rave reviews from bride, groom , parents, family and friends.
Marilyn did our wedding in 2010 and we could not have been happier.
We wanted to have a very "us" wedding. That meant we didn't want to have "staged" photos. Marilyn floated aro...
und with us, capturing beautiful pictures of us having fun with our wedding parties, preparing, and real moments of emotion from all the participants.
My favorite photo is a picture she took of my wife dancing in her wedding dress. She's twirling in a front yard, everyone's having fun - the photo is beautiful, but it also captured the emotional energy of the moment.
And...Marilyn is fun. I think her personality makes a huge difference in the kinds of pictures she gets, because she's someone you *want* to have hanging around at your wedding. She's not just taking photos, her energy is also celebratory - helping create the mood that becomes great photos.
And the feedback we've gotten from friends has been glowing, too. Everyone loved our photos.
I wanted someone who would capture the fun and excitement of our wedding. I didn't want to stop for photo shoots, I wanted to celebrate, party, and be with my family and friends. And Marilyn did that beautifully. I could not recommend her more highly.
Marilyn is a wonderful photographer who has a way of making wedding photography fun instead of tedious! She was with us throughout a 3 day wedding event and had a subtle way of we...
aving her way around the crowd to capture genuine smiles and moments in addition to the classic photos we requested. She produced so many terrific pics we had trouble narrowing down the choices for our album. Marilyn establishes such a great rapport with the wedding party and guests that if she weren’t holding a big camera she’d be easily mistaken for one of the guests! Her passion for photographing special events shows though in her photographs.
Marilyn did a fantastic job with our wedding! Not only did she take great pictures, but she had an eye for capturing special moments. She was where she needed to be when she needed...
to be there! Would recommend her in a heartbeat.
There were many bright spots in our wedding, but meeting Marilyn was definitely one of the brightest. I know that sounds like an exaggeration but Marilyn Roos was a phenomenal phot...
ographer and individual. She was very responsive, affordable, and flexible. She was tremendously helpful in my decision-making as we juggled several choices with accommodation, catering, venue, without a planner. She quickly became our resource person for all things Martha’s Vineyard. Marilyn was very professional with our photography on the wedding day itself. She was prompt, and she accommodated all my family members’ requests, while making sure we got fantastic shots. She ensured we got the best scenery and backdrop in our chosen location, and she also helped choose additional lovely locations for more photos. Our photos came out beautiful, and in a very timely manner. For my destination wedding, Marilyn Roos Photography is a vendor that I’m immensely grateful for. If I had to do it all over, I’d choose them over and over again.
Marilyn was AMAZING!!! As a professional photographer myself, I have incredibly high standards. Marilyn's attention to detail and ability to roll with changes throughout our weddin...
g day was a true asset. Getting married during a pandemic and keeping guests and family and vendors safe is no small feat. Marilyn followed all of our protocols and creatively worked at a distance. She captured wonderful memories that we will cherish for a lifetime! We are so grateful that she was our photographer.
