marilyn’s photography journey was inspired by her father, leo roos. he gave her a minolta at the age of eleven and her passion continued to grow from there. she takes pride in getting acquainted with her subjects prior to their special day so that she can make them feel more comfortable on camera and she can capture them in a natural fashion.
marilyn roos photography offers a variety of packages to commemorate the bride and groom’s special occasion. engagement photo sessions, day after brunches, rehearsal dinners and all festivities that lead up and culminate in the union are all part of the options. marilyn has a team of photographers that can be involved in whatever level the bride and groom choose. marilyn roos photography offers both digital files and printed photos and professional albums so you can remember the day however you choose.

My favorite photo is a picture she took of my wife dancing in her wedding dress. She's twirling in a front yard, everyone's having fun - the photo is beautiful, but it also captured the emotional energy of the moment.
And...Marilyn is fun. I think her personality makes a huge difference in the kinds of pictures she gets, because she's someone you *want* to have hanging around at your wedding. She's not just taking photos, her energy is also celebratory - helping create the mood that becomes great photos.
And the feedback we've gotten from friends has been glowing, too. Everyone loved our photos.
