One thing I really respect and admire about Marilyn's work is that she takes the time to customize each look to suit the unique features of whoever is sitting in her chair. During ...
my trial, she knew exactly what type of lashes would compliment my eye shape -- verbalizing exactly what I was thinking without me even having to say it! I knew I was in great hands at that moment. Every single look SLAYYYYYYED. One of my bridesmaids couldn't stop saying, "it's like I have a filter on my face!!!" in the best way possible, of course. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day AND all night long!!! I would recommend Marilyn a million times over. Also so appreciate her calming energy during the chaos of the day. <3
Marilyn is AMAZING at what she does and I truly couldn’t have asked for someone better. I felt so beautiful and I owe it all to her!! I would 1000/10 recommend her. You won’t regre...

I booked Marilyn in January of 2025 for my wedding 12/06/2025. After completion of my first trial in September, I scheduled another trial with her. A couple weeks later she informe...
d me that she was no longer able to do my wedding. She refunded my deposit money but I was still out 100$ from the trial- driving to and from Fremont for said trial also took up the majority of my day so I was out my time. During my trial she was talking with me about the conflict she had with my wedding day, so I kind of had a gut feeling she would end up canceling on me. When I was trying to schedule another trial it took a long time to get ahold of her and I had reached out text and email, meanwhile I could see she was actively posting on socials while ignoring my messages (during business hours) which was frustrating. I ended up finding another MUA and she did provide me with someone to take over services upon canceling her services with me, but it was a very stressful moment being it was 2 months away from my wedding date.
I had such a wonderful experience hiring Marilyn to complete my wedding day makeup! She was kind and easy to communicate with and I absolutely loved how my makeup turned out! Highl...

of the last 4 weeks, (email, instagram, text,) and she simply reads my messages and doesn’t respond. So incredibly unprofessional and I’m super bummed because she really did a great job before.
