Her organization was impeccable as she helped navigate four sets of families throughout the day. When we got our wedding day pictures back, earlier than expected, they made us feel like we were reliving the day. THEY WERE STUNNING! She helped pose us and captured the day the way WE wanted it. Looking through our album, Marina captured our day perfectly as we remembered it. She was quick and efficient, but took time to show us sneak peeks on her camera throughout the day and checked in multiple times to ask if there were any other photos we wanted to take that we hadn’t yet. She captured the perfect combo of portrait/posed photos and candids. We had our engagement shoot with Marina as well, and she gave us a few pointers that really elevated our photos (we’re not people who are usually comfortable in front of the camera!). 10000/10 recommend Marina!

e of the rainiest seasons yet. Despite our wedding day having torrential downpours and inconsistent lighting, our photographs came out AMAZING. The quality of the photos is outstanding. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE them! Marina brings an elegant, classic, romantic, and soft approach to her photographs. She takes a mixture of classic poised photos as well as some candid shots. Marina’s personality is calming and professional. I would describe Marina’s photographic style as elegant and refined. I knew what I was looking for – which is key to hiring the right photographer. For me – the biggest deciding factor was how the photographer edits in the post process stage. I wanted someone that does their own editing (not AI), uses just the right amount of grain to the photos (so I can blow them up and frame them) and someone that truly captures the day with a timeless approach (something that stands the test of time and isn’t following a trend). Marina met all these expectations flawlessly. I chose a plethora of pink, blue, peach, and lilac pastels for my bridal colors so I knew I needed to find someone that shoots photos with a true to life color (IE- no tinted hues). Marina captured my florals and bridal party perfectly. She edited certain pictures with a little more brightness. I love how those photos almost look ethereal. The pictures truly look like they belong in a magazine. When the rain finally stopped, Marina was quick to come delicately interrupt Tony and I to make sure that we were able to capture some outdoor shots by the ocean. These shots are some of our favorites. Marina was responsive, tactful with asking if certain family members are OK in the same pictures, and an overall gentle and calming presence I was so happy to have by my side on my wedding day. When our Welcome BBQ got a bit out of hand – she was willing to go with the flow and got some great shots of our guests. Marina delivered all photos edited in both web format and large file format within a super-fast turnaround time! I would highly recommend going with Marina. Choose her for the full day – you won’t regret those early morning pictures with your bridesmaids. If you can, I recommend hiring her for the rehearsal dinner. It’s a great way to capture extended family portraits the day before so you can have a bit more freedom in your timeline the day of.

d demeanor, fun loving energy, and expert leading skills that really made our day (both rehearsal and wedding day) the picture perfect day it was. She was relaxed and funny and sweet, and yet knew how to lead the group with a respectable command. She captured me the way I wanted to look and I think her experience with boudoir photoshoots and fashion helped the essence I was trying to create with my wedding jewelry and vibes. I really ended up wanting to be her friend and find it is no wonder such a beautiful soul created and captured such beautiful heartfelt photos of our special day. Thank you Marina! We were able to use our engagement photos for our invites and thank yous, and when we got our wedding photos back (about three weeks after the wedding, much faster than I expected!!) I could have cried with how beautiful they turned out. Marina managed to capture every single detail , like she knew just what we had spent time on trying to get perfect. She sends out a worksheet to help make sure to define all the pictures you want before your wedding so you don’t have to worry about it, and believe me she has got everything under control! She kept us on schedule, got all the most important moments, and let me tell you I have never seen anyone bustle a dress as fast as she did! Marina’s work is gorgeous and I’ll be treasuring all these pictures forever.

shots on our wedding day. However of the over 1000 photos that were taken that day, my husband and I didn’t get a single photo with our grandmothers on our mothers’ side. My grandmother is truly devastated that she doesn’t have a photo with her granddaughter on her wedding day. It was an extremely hot day which made it harder to take photos outside, but I just wished Marina would’ve reminded us to get grandparent photos later that night. We did enjoy working with Marina but because of what happened, I think I would’ve picked a different photographer.

et" to see if she would be a good fit for our wedding. From the second we started our chat we knew she would be perfect. She was sweet and professional and answered all of our questions in less than an hour. We decided that since we would be heading home to New England for Thanksgiving that we would do an engagement photo session with her so we would know what to expect from her on our big day and so we could see what her final product looked like. We were supposed to meet in NH the day we flew in for a shoot outside but the weather was horrendous and we had to reschedule. We only had a few days and given the holiday I was afraid we wouldn't be able to find a time. Marina was very accommodating and agreed to meet us in Boston for a shoot along the Charles River instead that Saturday. It was freezing but Marina worked quickly and when we had our photos 3 weeks later we were thrilled with how they turned out! Fast forward to August 2014 for our wedding day! Marina showed up on time, even a little early and was there every second that I needed her from 2pm to 10pm. She got the most beautiful shots of all the girls and was able to capture some great candid moments! She had an assistant working with her who was able to get photos of the guys getting ready so she could stay with me. Again she worked quickly which was great because we were about half an hour behind in getting ready! At the church she did a fantastic job as well. What I liked best was that I never noticed she was there! Some photographers can get in the way of the moment but she was completely unobtrusive yet managed to capture all of the photos we needed! After the ceremony she was patient as our giant families took turns posing for family portraits before we took the shots of the bridal party. She was quick to organize groups of 50+ people and the photos turned out perfect. I had found several shots of bridal parties on pintrest that I liked so I had sent them to her in advance for ideas of what we wanted. She managed to get almost every single one I had asked for as well as others that we didn't! Our favorite photos are of just my husband and I that we didn't plan on taking. Marina looked across this open lawn just as we were about to leave to go to the reception and said "The lighting is perfect right here! Come with me! We have to get this!" I'm so glad she said that because those particular photos are stunning! At the reception, Marina had a backdrop set up with props that everyone enjoyed! I only got in a few of them as we were so busy dancing but it was a huge hit for my guests! Marina also had asked us what we were doing for our first dance. My husband isn't much of a dancer and were weren't going to do anything too crazy but Marina suggested that he dip me at the end of the song. Thankfully he did so without dropping me and that photo is priceless too! She really knows what she is doing and I will recommend her to anyone I know getting married in that area! She is efficient, professional, and has a great eye! We even got our photos back exactly 3 weeks after our wedding as promised! Thank you Marina for everything! We will be keeping her in mind for family photos someday!

She did a great job of "herding" our families together for photos afterwards as well. After our ceremony she took a series of photos around the garden and inside a historic building of just my husband. It made us feel like the only couple in the world, it was a very romantic time to have the photos taken right after the wedding and these photos came out amazing. Most importantly, she was able to meet me and my bridesmaids very early in the morning at a salon for "work in progress" photos, this was quite amazing because it was so early and Marina arrived with her assistant fully awake, aware and ready for the day. Marina Z and her assistant did a great job of shadowing us all day with photograph taking, and I never felt they were to invasive or distracting at all. Also, the addition of the photo booth at our reception was a blast! Many of my guests took advantage of the booth and the pictures came out hilariously good. I am still in awe of how good the photos came out and was a joy to share the photos with my wedding guests as well. I will no doubt look at these pictures many times, and will always remember how lucky I was to have found Marina Z as my wedding photographer.
