Our family-owned business has been rocking the stage since the 1980s. To maintain premium audio experiences, we constantly upgrade our equipment to the latest state-of-the-art technology. Our dancing, which has become a company tradition, entails busting some moves on top of the thumping subwoofers.
The Marino Brothers work to create a party atmosphere that leaves couples knowing they had their vision fulfilled. We can provide stunning visual effects to enhance the dance floor, including producing fog for a cloud-like dance floor or a snow machine for a winter wonderland wedding. We also have Photo Booth options available that allow guests to add personalized messages to the Photo Strip Album. All the photos will be provided as a digital copy to the newlyweds as a memoir for couples to enjoy after the wedding celebration.

DO NOT HIRE!
Where to start. I hired the Marino Brothers, as my sister used them in 2018 and had a great experience. I hired them over a year before my wedding, and while the comm...
unication was informal, it was never unprofessional, persay.
Well, that changed. My venue sent us a standard agreement for Canton City sound laws. It stated that when the DJ arrived, they would do a sound test to establish how loud they were allowed to play, and they would only receive one warning if they exceeded that loudness. My venue coordinator assured me that there has never been any issues with a DJ, either signing the agreement or issues with warnings on the day of the wedding. My coordinator also expressed that there has never been any noise complaints or subsequent issues with Canton City regarding sound levels. I passed the agreement along to Jim with the Marino Brothers, and the response that I received was appalling. Jim took the Lord's name in vein as he expressed how ridiculous the agreement was. He stated that they were "just trying to pin everything on him" (unsure of what this even means), and stated that his lawyer "will be hearing about this."
UNBELIEVABLE. I was absolutely stunned that a vendor would speak to a client in that manner, and I was disgusted at the language that he chose to use. I passed along all of the information that my vendor assured me about, and I received a similar response. I waited a week to hear back about if he was going to sign the agreement, and I was told that his lawyer would "handle it". What? Does that mean you are backing out of the contract, or does that mean that you are contacting my venue with the help of your lawyer? No answer.
I contacted my venue to see if he had reached out, and my coordinator said no. She assured me that no one has ever had an issue signing this agreement, and that they would not make any exceptions, as the agreement simply stated Canton city sound limitations.
I sent a message back to Jim and stated that I would be backing out of the contract and forfeiting the $300 deposit due to the lack of professionalism.
After all of this, I was telling a coworker that said she also used Marino brothers and said that she had a similar experience with unprofessionalism and refusal to do certain things. Really wish I read more reviews and searched around before hiring.
To all the future brides and grooms, DO NOT SETTLE! YOU are the client and YOU are paying for a service. We ended up hiring the Beach Boyz just 3 months before our wedding (When all of this took place), and we could not have been happier with their professionalism and the end result.

ery long and informative phone call to let me know their packages and how the wedding ady would work. I would have gave them the full 5 stars but there was a lot of times I would email and not hear back for days, sometimes weeks. They also told me I owed my deposit but I had already paid that. I figured they are just busy, but maybe a little more communication and organization would be nice. I then talked to our head DJ, Mike, a few days before the wedding. He was WONDERFUL. We went over names, songs, schedule and details of the day and it was very refreshing to have. He was so perfect, playing so many must play songs that we had and not playing songs we didn't want. tell us the order of reception as well as reads us the bridal parties name to make sure it’s all correct. Names all read correctly, perfect! Then we start going over the day of timeline. (Nightmare #1) tells us how the day of time line will go. We kept telling him that we have to work off of our photographers timeline as they will only be there for so long. Marino Brothers kept telling us they don’t want to work off of the photographers schedule and that his (DJ) schedule will be more fitting.
(Nightmare #2) While talking to him on the phone he tells us we have a balance owed of over $900. We proceeded to tell him we already paid it. He kept telling us he had no record of the payment. So we pulled up our credit card history, and there it was the payment to Marino Brothers, January 19th, 2018. So we told him if he wants us to send him a copy of it we would so he sees that it is paid in full. Over the phone he just said it’s fine I trust you guys. (Nightmare #3) At the reception when announcing the bridal party he messed us some names. I don’t understand how as he went over them 3 days prior!!!! (Nightmare #4) When calling up the groom to dance with his mom he said the best mans name instead!!! Who does that!!! We were so infuriated and beyond annoyed!!! Then at the wedding we were telling him can he do the shoe game at xyz time instead of what he told us. He said I don’t think that will work. So we said we want to do it and that we paid you a hefty amount and it’s our wedding, please do what we ask. So him being aggravated he complied. Good thing we told him to do stuff at xyz times because people were already starting to leave and would have never seen the fun stuff from the shoe game to the garter and bouquet toss. He just didn’t care what we wanted. He only wanted to go to his schedule. But because we only had our photographers for a certain time. We had to get all that in. I would never recommend the Marino Brothers to anyone. Especially after our experience. The uplighting he did was great, the rest of it was not!!! So if you don’t care and want to be a stressed and annoyed bride then use him. Just remember pictures are forever, music only last for a short amount of time. I’d rather see the photos then try and think what song was played when. So glad we went with our photographers day of timeline. Worked out better.

that we did a great job it's hard to read and understand a review like this especially after a large tip was given to us. I did try to arrange a time line for them to help keep the night moving with the understanding the the photographers were only contracted till 10 pm. I was not emailed the photographers time line until two days after we had built one together over the phone, Even thought we had a time line built we did follow the photographers time line that was provided to me with out complaint. Even though the photographers provided a time line fitting their needs, the photographers and bridal party arrived a half hour late which pushed the whole reception schedule back. As for the balance due error it was simply a clerical error. We found the payment record within minuet of searching while we were on the phone. I thought we were all ok payment had been found. As for the names I do apologize for calling Grooms man TJ, JT. As for nightmear number 4, I deeply apologize, everyone laughed for the best man was his brother. It was infact an accident. As for the shoe game I had no problem changing when it was done I just needed to check with the mother of the bride because she had a surprise that she wanted to do right after dinner when the bride was requesting to start the shoe game. I was trying to be sensitive to both her and the family's needs. I'm disheartened that I was not told about any of these complaints until this review was posted, especially because of the compliments and appreciation given by the bride, groom and families at the end of the night. If this Bride and groom would like to talk about these complaints in depth they are more welcome to contact me.

stars is because my husband and I spent a lot of time going over our music selection and we had some specific songs that were a must play for special family that was not played. The time we spent to put together some solid playlist songs and not hear them played had us a little upset. Of course our guests did not know the difference so overall everyone danced and enjoyed their time. We just expected a little more especially after talking with the DJ for our wedding and being told that our requests were not a problem. They are a good DJ service and I do recommend their services, just make sure if you have specific requests that you make sure it is understood what you want.

play list for them to play songs off of. They barely played any of the songs that I requested. When I spoke with my DJ over the phone before the wedding, we specifically discussed a song that one of my guests would be requesting. The DJ even sang it to me on the phone! When my guest requested the song, he was told by the DJ that they didn't have it. They also did not play the dinner music I selected AT ALL. Not once did they get on the dance floor and energize our guests like they say they do.
Now for the Photobooth:
I went to a wedding a week prior to mine who also had the Marino Brothers. The photobooth guy literally acted like he hated his life. He was not even talking to people, let alone smiling at them! So I expressed these concerns with David, the manager, over the phone. He sent a different guy to my wedding, who acted like he hated his life too! He barely spoke to my guests. Set up during cocktail hour, didn't encourage anyone to sign my book, which I made quite clear was my guestbook. A guest even asked him if there was a book to sign and he told them no! Not all pictures taken were even in the photo book. He even started packing up almost a 1/2 hour early! I was so disappointed. I will not refer this business to anyone.

Also, leading up to our ceremony we did all of our planning with Dave who made sure that he took down all of our information as we wanted it and planned a spectacular event. Marino Brothers provides 2 DJ’s at each event for you, so one can pump up the crowd while the other controls music, and they’re quite entertaining. We didn't choose the dance floor lighting package but had uplights around the facility that were stunning - they did a wonderful job. Be sure to specify what songs you definitely want and don’t want. We made our list of 20 songs and didn’t end up hearing a few that we wanted, although our dance floor was PACKED the entire time regardless!

are a lot more expensive compared to other DJs but my husband felt it was money well spent for how reputable they were. Unfortunately, they did not live up to the hype at our wedding. We were very organized and had made several lists of song requests (we had a line on our invites so everyone could pick a favorite and we sorted through them) as well as a "do not play" list and a list of some of our must plays as well. This might sound like a lot but I think we had under 10 songs for both except for the requests which were around maybe 25. Anyway come the day of the wedding they only played one song that we had requested during dinner of all times on top of it. That was it! They didn't play a single song anyone else requested. I will say they were conscious about the do not play list, but I told them to go ahead and play one of the songs because I felt bad they weren't playing anyone's requests. It really did suck because I at least wish they played a few songs that meant a lot to my husband and I. The selection of music they did play was pretty odd too, not anything popular or current, we recently watched our wedding video and heard more of what we had missed and it was a lot of weird song choices. I will say though that our DJs were very upbeat and nice, we were just very disappointed we didn't get anything we wanted out of them as far as music.

I did not have to allow my family/friends to suffer through the Chicken Dance or the YMCA. Phew! The music selections were absolutely perfect. Steve also made sure that enough Greek music was played so my family had ample time to do the traditional Greek dances! I am so thankful that I chose Marino Brothers as our DJ!!! ther having a recent surgery she was not able to walk around the large venue without taking breaks. While I walked around with my maid of honor my mother sat and conveniently go to see the Marino brothers booth and got to see them in action. My mother told me we had to book them for our wedding due to how fun they were to just watch at the bridal show. We put our deposit down at the show and were told that we were the first to ever book them at a show before and they did not have a copy of their contract with them. The main DJ ran over to their hotel and came back with the contract and we were able to get them for our wedding. The staff we worked with were wonderful and very professional. Our family and friends were nothing but complimentary of our DJ's and the dance floor was filled the entire night. They played everything we specified and got our guests involved. They worked the crowd to cheer for my husband as the crowd voted for him to crawl during the garter toss to get over to me! The Cincinnati crew did a wonderful job and we could not have been more pleased with them!

They reassured me that they were going to make sure it was the day I wanted and promised me a great night so I had high expectations for them. I can honestly say they went above and beyond with planning out the events (bouquet toss, garter toss, etc), playing the right music, and keeping us and our guests dancing and entertained. Do yourself a favor and book the Marino Brothers for your wedding because as a bride it will be one less thing for you to worry about! And if you can request Dave because he was the perfect DJ!

I absolutely LOVE the Marino Brothers! The owner is just a super great guy! You receive two DJ's who are as interactive and outgoing as you want. They are on the speakers dancing, ...
and get out and dance with the crowd. One is taking care of the music while the other is taking care of the guests. They did an EXCELLENT job with the bridal party and kept a great flow of music going!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Very decent prices as well!!!! Gave us great discounts. Thanks Marino Brothers!!!

I would happily recommend Marino Brothers to anyone looking for outgoing, professional DJ's for their wedding! The Marino Brothers are the DJ's that will keep EVERYONE on the guest...
floor the entire night. They adjust the music often to keep people entertained and excited about dancing. They knew how to work and read the guests and play music for everyone's interests! They were amazing. Words cannot express how happy I was with these DJ's. They send 2 people out to play your wedding and all of my guests complimented the DJ's and expressed how entertaining they were!

sts what a fun wedding it was. I know much can be attributed to the djs as they kept the pace going. My husband and I didn't worry at all the whole night about music or announcements as they took care of it all in advance and knew what they were doing. We came prepared to pay a fee for overtime and kept the party going later than planned!

I was told that the Marino Brothers were the best and the fact that they've been around for years was a true testament of that. They met and exceeded every expectation I/We had. I ...
knew a few things that I wanted and a few things that I didn't want, but other than that I left it up to them and they took care of everything! The reception was non-stop dancing from the minute dinner was over! When it came time for the bouquet toss I had no idea where my toss bouquet was and they ran off and brought it right back to me. We even extended another hour at the end of the night because it was so wonderful. I am a firm believer that the DJ is a major component in making or breaking the reception and the Marino Brothers definitely helped make our reception so incredible. I would recommend to anyone at anytime!
