I was referred to Marisa by a friend. I had heard of her several times before but she didn’t have much social media so I couldn’t get a good idea of who she was. This was an import...
ant event and I trusted the buzz of the reputation that followed her brand! Wow!! I was blown away by her talented skills!! I was flawless!! She meticulously made every detail seem effortless. I’ve had my makeup done in the past professionally but this made every prior application feel generic in comparison. I can not wait to hire her again! Sometimes the hidden gems are the best!
Marisa is amazing to work with! I was overly prepared with ideas!! Too much so to say the least. Her grace and patience with me was amazing. She took her time to compare my ideas t...
o something she just whipped up on the fly as soon as I have her a chance to do her own thing. Her concept exceeded everything I had been looking at via Pinterest! Marisa showed me what real life glam looks like. She captured class, style and beauty in look. I was glamours in pictures but most importantly I looked amazing in person!! I owned the look. It didn’t wear me. I was stunning and youthful and not left feeling like the makeup was heavy or wearing me down. Everything was done by hand and it stayed until the next day! Thanks to her education she explained so many makeup basics and why traditional makeup is better than airbrush depending on the artist. I highly recommend her!
I loved my make up Marisa did for an event I was attending. She was professional and made me feel flawless.

re I went to her and let's just say, that is not what happened). My trial was fabulous and I booked her for my wedding day. She was on time, organized and did not rush through it. My Matron of Honor and I looked amazing! Everyone commented on how good our make-up looked. I would highly recommend Behind The Brush!

the most timely manner. Very impressive! She is a true professional and a phenomenal make-up artist. She listened to my ideas and we totally nailed the look I was going for. I am very picky with make-up and Marisa happily did two trials for me to confirm I loved our plan. Marisa promised me my make-up would last all night despite dancing and sweating and she was 100% correct. She is easy to communicate with via e-mail and responded to all of my questions quickly. In addition to make-up, Marisa did my eyebrows a few weeks before my wedding. They looked amazing and I will definitely be returning for that and all of my make-up needs in the future. Thank you Marisa!

as more than others I had experienced. She explained why but not until I was in the chair did I completely understand why! She nailed all requests and took full control of reassuring my questions and demands were met! Marisa and her assistant helped beyond expectations on my special day. Very professional and extremely sanitary. Something I myself didn't understand until she explained that too. If your lucky to snag her for your special day you won't be disappointed.

nned and not wearing a lot of makeup daily she knew just how to apply, where it did not look or feel heavy. I also loved how she used the blend of shadows for depth in my eyes. The makeup was perfectly applied to stand out in photos and made me feel so beautiful.
