Our wedding day was a 100° day in June and looking at all of our pictures, you couldn’t tell that we were sweating like crazy!! Marisa never complained about the heat either, she sweat right along with us! Her editing skills are amazing. Her photos are natural looking and very “clean” which is what I loved the most about her! Marisa’s editing style and the quality of her work are different from so many photoshoots we have seen flood our social media feeds over the years, and she was quick to deliver a sneak peak to us within 24 hours of our wedding. We feel so lucky to have Marisa in our lives and can’t recommend her enough!

e. I thought this would just be a quick check-in, but we ended up chatting for over 1.5 hours! She is very easy to get along with and is a ray of sunshine. On our wedding day Marisa and her second photographer Holly were patient, up-beat, and helpful. They provided poses for my husband and I (who honestly are awkward in front of a camera) and helped direct family and friends for photos. It is too soon after the wedding to have our full gallery, but just from the sneak peek shots that Marisa has sent, I can tell that the gallery will be gorgeous and perfect. She captured all of the moments we wanted, from big to small and her eye for lighting and color is unmatched. We had a wonderful experience with Marisa and I would think any couple would be missing out if they don't book her for their wedding.

the second I got off the phone with Marisa for the first time, I knew she was the right fit. Oh boy, did she deliver! I have been a part of many weddings, and I've never worked with a photographer who has a better grasp on people management and professionalism. Marisa knew how to lead our families, wedding party, etc. with clear direction while making the process enjoyable for everybody. Countless people came up to me and remarked on how wonderful she was. This is not to mention the HUGE number of beautiful photos we received after our wedding. She captured every single moment and truly embodied our vision and the joy of our day. Several friends/bridesmaids who are getting married in the near future have said they would go out of their way to hire Marisa, after working with her and seeing her work. I could go on and on, but nobody wants to read a full essay. You need to hire Marisa! She's the best!

She didn’t bat an eye at our large bridal party and even larger family photos, she made sure we got photos with every person and combination on our list and did it efficiently so our families could enjoy cocktail hour. We are absolutely thrilled by the quality of the photos we received and our families cannot stop raving about them. Our only problem is that we can’t narrow down our favorites for an album (a pretty good problem to have). My husband and I loved working with Marisa and would recommend her in a heartbeat!
