Marisa is incredible! She did my hair and makeup for my engagement photos, welcome party, and wedding day. She and her team also did my mom and mother-in-law’s hair and makeup on t...
he big day, putting us all completely at ease and making us look and feel amazing. She has an extraordinary ability to bring out your natural beauty and help you feel confident, radiant, and authentically you.
I had a lot of anxiety about looking my best on my wedding day, but Marisa took the time to refine each look to match my vision. On the day of, my hair and makeup stayed flawless all day and night, allowing me to focus on feeling confident and enjoying every moment.
She went above and beyond — staying for touch-ups, veil removal, and even helping my husband and our family look their best during photos. I can’t recommend her enough!
Marisa is impossibly chic, effortlessly cool, and will make you feel so unbelievably beautiful. When I was deciding who to book for my wedding hair and makeup, every single vendor ...
I spoke with said that Marisa was the best in the Bay Area, and they were absolutely right. She is known for her natural, radiant style that enhances your features rather than covering them up. After my trial, I knew immediately that I had made the best decision.
On my wedding day, I truly never felt or looked better, and I have never received so many compliments. She also worked her magic on my mom and bridesmaids, who all felt stunning. Everyone was so grateful, especially since we have all had those less-than-ideal “wedding makeup” experiences before. Beyond her incredible talent, Marisa is warm, hilarious, and the exact person you want to spend your morning with before walking down the aisle.
You will not regret booking her. She is a true artist, a total professional, and honestly the kind of person you just wish you could be friends with.
I cannot rave about Marisa enough. She did my hair and makeup for my rehearsal dinner and my wedding and I have never felt more myself and yet more beautiful in my life! She did tw...
o completely different looks for each night; a bolder look with a high pony and dramatic eyes for my rehearsal and natural makeup with loose curls for my wedding. Both were amazing. She's also very easy to talk to and supremely cool (important since you spend many hours with her). Can't wait to find another reason to work with Marisa again!
It is no exaggeration to say that after getting my wedding hair and make up done by Marisa, I will never be able to get my hair and make up done by anyone else again. Marisa has s...
uch a unique ability to highlight the natural beauty of each of her clients. She is just exceptional at her craft.
Because my husband and I had to reschedule our original 2020 wedding due to the pandemic, we had the opportunity to work with Marisa two times - our intimate 2020 wedding and our 2021 wedding celebration. For each event, Marisa listened thoughtfully to my preferences and provided her recommendations when helpful. She made me (and my mom who adored her) feel so comfortable and at ease. Her execution of the looks I was going for completely blew my mind and exceeded my expectations. Her work made me feel beautiful and completely myself.
Marisa is professional through and through and just a joy to work with and be around. She was easy to communicate with leading up to the events and on time, if not early, for everything.
On top of all this, Marisa saved the day at my 2021 wedding celebration. There was a snafu when my veil was torn, and Marisa did not skip a beat in somehow affixing it to my hair so that no one could tell. Marisa is exactly who you want helping you prep on your wedding day.
A note about the pandemic - Marisa was so kind and understanding when we had to reschedule our original 2020 wedding. Although this was presumably one of the hardest years for wedding vendors, Marisa handled all the changes with so much grace, which made this challenging year of wedding planning so much less stressful for us.
Marisa, thank you SO much for everything!
Like most 2020 brides, it has been a roller coaster of a year. We postponed our big celebration but decided to elope, just the two of us. It was a bittersweet day - waking up and n...
ot being with my family and friends. It made me second guess if eloping was the right choice. I initially hired Marisa after a recommendation from our photographer. She was easy to communicate with, very professional, and when she showed up on the day of the elopement, made me feel completely at ease -- it was like getting ready with a close friend. I had mentioned to her how wedding makeup makes me feel really overdone and not like myself, which can be great for final photographs but not how I wanted to feel on that day. She did a more natural, dewy makeup and wavy beach hair that made me feel so incredibly beautiful without feeling like I was overdone. To top it off, the pictures were stunning. I have seriously never felt more beautiful -- so much so that I slept in my makeup (breaking my number 1 skin care rule) to have it for just one more day. Marisa went above and beyond to help me feel beautiful, relaxed, and confident on a day that I was initially feeling uneasy about -- I cannot recommend her services enough.

co area weddings. Being across the country it was a little bit of risk not having a trial but I felt very confident in Marisa's style for what I wanted for our wedding day. Before we met in September I shared a Pinterest board of makeup and hair inspiration. She did such a wonderful job, I was blown away by my hair and makeup and how well she captured what I envisioned. My hair and makeup lasted all through the City Hall ceremony, photos, a quick nap, and even dinner! It was so great to work with Marisa - she was so easy going and great to talk to while getting ready. Since it was just my now husband and I, she was even kind enough to help me in my dress.

ne for the wedding but Marisa kept her call, reassured her that the make-up and hair would last through the day and night (even in the heat), and made her feel extremely comfortable. My mother in law throughout the wedding just kept saying how beautiful she felt and loved the experience.
For me, I wanted something clean and simple, Marisa provided a few different options and suggestions really bringing my personality and the overall venue to life. Best money I've ever spent!

en happier.
I met with Marisa before the event for a trial. I showed her styles I liked on Pinterest and she completely understood the look I was going for. The trial run was perfect and I was so excited about working with her on the big day.
I was nervous on the actual day of and my bridesmaids hadn't picked their looks yet but Marisa was excited, confident, creative and so fun to get ready with. My bridesmaids each told her what they liked and within a few minutes she narrow down their ideas into separate but complimentary looks (one wanted classic, one wanted rock). My mother wear very little make up and Marisa really was able to compliment her comfort zone and let her shine for a picture filled day. My bridesmaids and I looked stunning, the make up and hair lasted all night and each look photographed extremely well. Marisa is incredible, truly an artist. I wish I could do what she does everyday.
Marisa is extremely professional. She took into account our natural coloring/skin tone and what would complement us best while still getting the look we wanted. She was also keenly aware of how things would look in pictures and made sure that everything would look great from afar and also close-up. And my hair was exactly what I asked for: natural but styled and could hold up to a hurricane. I can't say enough amazing things about her.
Marisa was also just super fun, easygoing, and a blast to be around. I cannot recommend Marisa highly enough. Truly extraordinary and gifted.
