Thank you for looking this far to get to know a little about me, Marisa.
I have been photographing weddings since 2007! I live in South-Central Pennsylvania
with my husband Stephen our pup Burchfield and Abbott (a distinguished grey tuxedo feline).
We love waking up to the world sipping coffee with critters, dog walks, running errands, meeting up with friends and family, and rummaging through forest filled with ferns, moss, rocks, streams....ah!
I am an animal lover, artist (as I draw and paint primarily in addition to photography), art collector, gardener, zen buddhist, and pescatarian. People often say I am calm and collective. I am quirky, which may take you by surprise, and can crack random jokes (not on cue though).
I love getting to know new people, especially my couples! I enjoy guiding them through an entire wedding experience leading up to, through and after the big day! I provide a unique one-of-a-kind experience. I work well with people who are excited about their wedding day and nervous about being photographed. I enjoy being around people who are genuinely down to earth, open and true to who they are, and hope you feel the same!

Having never worked at our venue before, Marisa took the time to scout the venue and really find the perfect spots for all of our pictures. Marisa is diligent and created a wedding timeline in line with our wedding coordinator so that everything ran smoothly through out the wedding day. Her communication is fantastic and she really keeps you in the loop with the whole process. Marisa and her second shooter got pictures of us at great angles and with beautiful backgrounds. We will forever look back at our wedding day with the amazing pictures that she took and be able to relive it all over again. not push you to do anything that makes you uncomfortable. She can figure out the best locations, angles, and lighting to get you the best shots possible at your venue. At my wedding, she did a great job blending into the background so I barely knew she was there. She lets moments happen organically, and we got such amazing candid photos because of this! She also brought a talented second shooter with her. I only had her for 6 hours, but she still managed to sneak off and get detail photos of my decorations, programs, table settings, and venue. She also put care into the photos she took of my guests, which they really appreciated! Many guests commented on how sweet and not in your face my photographer was. Marisa got sneak peek photos to us within two days, and she got all of our photos back in one month! We have hundreds of photos which we have access to digitally. The resolution is incredible and her editing is lovely! She captured a lot of natural light, so she didn’t have to over-edit. Take a chance on Marisa and you will not be disappointed!!!

h a sweet personality that makes working with her so pleasant. In our search for a photographer, we ran into some obstacles because we are a same sex couple. We were relieved to find Marisa because she believes that love is love and had no issues! We love that Marisa also believes in having a second photographer there to help her get a few angles of all of the most important moments of a wedding. She provided us with a handful of pictures to post, about a week after we wed so we didn’t have to wait long for pictures! And we’re only a month into marriage and have all of the rest!! Out of all of our vendors, Marisa has the most user friendly and organized way of getting to know you as a couple through questionnaire and easy to pay invoices. Look no further, she’s the best!

Everyone commented on how they didn't even notice them during the ceremony, but they somehow got fabulous and intimate shots! Marisa has an extremely fair pricepoint and sets up a lovely website to view your gallery of edited photos afterwards. She is also very timely- she had a blog post up the next afternoon, and we had our photos within 3 weeks of the wedding!!
