I cannot give enough stars to Marissa Cribbs! I am so glad we picked her to be our photographer. From our first meeting I knew she would be a perfect fit as our photographer for the wedding. Our engagement photos were wonderful and then our wedding photos have me in awe. She didn’t skip a beat and knew exactly what would look good. I will definitely use her for future photography needs!

The hardest decision we made while wedding planning was choosing a photographer. My husband and I decided not to hire a videographer, so photos were going to be very important for us. I wanted someone who captured color, personality, & someone superior in quality. Enter: Marissa Cribbs Photography. To start, our engagement session was a blast – Marissa is so fun to be around and makes posing for photos easy and enjoyable. She captured our wedding beautifully. The details and thought that went into the day-of planning came to life in the photos. One of the more important details for me were the flowers. Thanks to Marissa, I can relive my 20lbs bouquet any time I want! The photos were stunning & colorful. We are both so grateful for her time and expertise; we couldn’t have chosen anyone better to capture our memories.

I think a photographer is one of the most important people you work with during your wedding planning process and Marissa was everything and more we could have asked for. Every step of the planning way, she was always available to answer any questions we had. From our engagement pictures to our wedding day pictures, she captured our moments so perfectly. Marissa was a DREAM! We hired her for our April wedding and she was the most perfect person for our day. She is so easy to be around, takes the most beautiful pictures and wrangled a bridal party of 26 with ease! We didn't see each other before the ceremony so she was on top of the pictures after to make sure they were seamless and quick. She also did our engagements and I absolutely recommend doing a shoot with your photographer before. She came in to our home and captured us in our element! Marissa is just brilliant! When I first met Marissa over coffee, I knew she would be our wedding photographer. She was easy-going, authentic, and after just one meeting you feel like you’ve known her forever. We were so excited that she was available for our wedding date! Last April, we did our engagement photos at Loose Park. It was fairly windy, but Marissa didn’t let that bring us down. She was great at giving direction, making us laugh, and made an overcast day look so dreamy and fun! Not only is Marissa friendly and personable, but also highly organized and very professional. Prior to the wedding, we discussed timelines, important photos we wanted, and she was willing to photograph a faux sparkler exit early in the reception with just our bridal party. When she photographed our wedding last October at Longview Mansion, we were over the moon with how the photos turned out! Not only did she get them to us extremely fast (we were still on our honeymoon!), they perfectly captured the candid moments with our wedding party, friends, and family. All the photos express warmth and genuine happiness and they arrived in the most beautiful, glass USB as our gift. Marissa is amazing! Picking a photographer was the hardest part of wedding planning and I was being very picky. Your photos will last forever! Marissa was able to provide photos in the light and airy style I requested and she got them to us LITERALLY the morning after the wedding. So a year ago around Aug 2017, we started to look for our photographer for our Sept 2017 wedding. We came across Marissa's profile on theknot and my then fiance and I were beyond impressed. One thing we do when we look at reviews is to look at the good but most important, the bad. She had 0 which speaks volumes. We contacted her about our date and she sent the prices, which were very reasonable. She also wanted to set up a facetime because we were living in Manhattan, KS while planning. She was super great at letting us know about her packages, the visions, her previous work and then what we wanted. Fast forward to our engagement pictures, we were packed with school and she constantly worked with us to make sure we could get them done and that the times worked. They came out SO beautiful, she helped us when we had no clue what we were doing and let us also be natural. She was very big on natural poses that were also elegant and beautiful. Our wedding day with Marissa and her assistant Alyssa they were PERFECT. Marissa is so incredibly talented and made sure we knew what we were doing. She was patient with the boys who were bad at listening, but she captured allll the beautiful moments. Our wedding day was an absolute dream having them, they really are the dream team. We got sneak peaks the next day and ALL of our photos a week later. (Everyone was so jealous because they have to wait months 2-3). Each photo impressed both of us, our families, our friends, and strangers. Marissa is the sweetest, kindest, talented, fun photographer ever. She made our engagement photos and wedding photos a dream. I would marry my husband a million more times and ONLY have Marissa and Alyssa capture it each time. We hired Marissa to photograph our daughter's wedding. From the first conversation to the last, you could tell Marissa really care about capturing our memories in the best light. Seriously this woman is amazing. Not only are her photos absolutely gorgeous, but we had 1400 wedding photos back to us within 6 days of our wedding. That is unheard of! I am a person who comes from an event planning background, and I have never worked with someone who is so talented artistically, yet responds within 24 hours to every email and runs an amazing business. I can't begin to say enough about how thankful my husband and I were to have been able to be photographed by Marissa. Marissa is an angel! She did an amazing job even though nothing seemed to be going as planned. The week-of, some big plans changed with timing of the day and she did an amazing job being flexible and helping me decide what would work best. Even the day-of when our destination for bride and groom pictures was closed she made the most of it and the pictures ended up better than I could have ever imagined! I cannot say enough great things about working with Marissa! Through the entire engagement and wedding process, she made it an amazing experience. We both eventually moved towards our career professions and for her that was photography. Over time, I saw her amazing photography online and I couldn't wait to hire her for my own wedding. Marissa is a sweet and lovely person to work with, very professional and loving all at the same time! I highly recommend her with no complaints. I also really appreciate her eye for unique shots, and her use of natural light. The way she uses light and shadows enhance the color and focal points in a beautiful breathtaking way.

Marissa was extremely easy and fun to work with. She was patient and basically let us tell her what we wanted. We brought our own props and ideas and she just went with it. We were so glad we had her for our photographer!
