About this vendor
I'm a fine art wedding photographer based in Minneapolis, MN. It's my job and honor to capture the fleeting moments of your life. As a wife, mom and all-around sentimental gal, I know they come and go all too quickly. Those big moments in your life - like your first dance on your wedding day, to the little moments that organically unfold thereafter. I'm there to capture those moments, bottle them up, and allow you to relive them in the future.
I want you and your children to look back at your photographs and feel all the love, knowing that's where your family's story all began.
I’m based in Minneapolis, Minnesota and photograph throughout the Midwest. I love timeless, minimal design and seamlessly incorporate that quality into my work.

Märit is amazing!!! Our sneak peaks turned out better than I could’ve imagined. We love looking back at them to reminisce. Märit has a special talent when working with greenery and...
florals. She makes the colors POP, while showing the movement in your bouquet! Her photos are truly works of art. Also, she made my husband and I feel comfortable in front of camera when we weren’t the most comfortable. She captured our day perfectly! We can’t wait to see the rest!!
Marit is SO fantastic! Not only does she have natural talent behind the camera, she is so easy and fun to be around. She knows how to capture the unique characteristics of differen...
t couples and families. She took our engagement pictures and will be taking wedding pictures as well. We got sneak peak pictures less than a day after they were taken and then the rest of our pictures timely after that. Finding a good photographer was high on our wedding checklist, and having Marit capture our day makes it even more exciting!!
Märit was so fun and easy to work with and the pictures were AMAZING

thin 2-3 minutes, had us smiling, laughing, cuddling and acting ourselves! When we left we were surprised at how much fun we both had.
Then- wedding day, the best day of our lives. Marit was extremely punctual and efficient, she worked with us weeks/months before with any questions or concerns we had and put together a timeline that included all the photos we needed wrapped around all our events through the day. We felt totally taken care of. She sent us a sneak peak the day after the wedding and each photo is dreamier than the last. We couldn't have been happier with the photographer we found and we plan on sticking with her for any future life events! She was just so kind, funny, genuine, you will be forever happy that you chose her! Thank you, Marit! - Elizabeth & Ray 9-23-18

t both our engagement shoot and wedding day she made us feel those things as well! Even Matt pointed out later that Marit made him feel very comfortable and relaxed. Because of this, we never felt rushed or stressed on our wedding, and our beautiful final images reflect that! Thanks Marit! :)

now us and our story. She is so easy to get along with and made our engagement and wedding photos a blast! Our bridal party, parents, and guests all made comments at our wedding about how great our photographer was and I completely agree. She fit right in and got along with everyone so well. We could not have picked a better photographer and we plan to use her for future photography needs. I would 100% recommend Marit to anyone!

h her. From looking at her website, you already know she does GREAT work, but actually meeting her, having her there to capture those special moments is just beautiful. We were so pleased with her professionalism, her easy going manner (especially when trying to wrangle family for those fam shots!) and her keen eye for all of the memorable moments. She made even a weirdo like me feel natural and comfortable in front of the camera. I will recommend her to anyone for anything cause she is just that awesome.
