When we decided to elope to our beloved, wild Corolla…we knew we wanted it to be authentic and meaningful in every detail. I found Danie and Maritime Flowers, and knew it was the perfect match. My flowers were not from a random florist, with flowers grown hundreds or thousands of miles away. They were from Danie, and the OBX. I told her my vision, and she created it. Coming from Florida sight unseen, there was a lot of trust involved….and she came through for me in the best way!
Danie was awesome!. I called her last minute and she was very accommodating. She was able to whip up 2 leis, a bouquet and some table pieces. She incorporated little things that I asked to be added to the flowers, which made them extra special for me & I love how she uses local flowers!

Maritime Flowers was founded in 2017. What began as a pop-up flower shop has now grown into a thriving business, where owner Danie takes inspiration from the local flora to help her create some truly unique floral designs. Her passion for flowers, urban gardening, and teaching others about sustainable farming practices is inherent in her business.
When it comes to weddings and events, Danie and the Maritime Flowers team can offer everything from bouquets to ceremony arbors and flower crowns to table decor. What sets Danie apart is her frequent use of natural pieces like shells and driftwood in her arrangements. These add an extra touch of magic and earthiness. In addition to the floral items, Danie can also provide rentable air succulents, plants as party favors, and anything else you might require. You can start with a consultation and go from there!
