*This is a long review, but I wanted to truly document our experience. The Broadways are worth it!*
To start, they answered every one of my thousand questions when it came the entire process. I am VERY Type A. Not only did I know quickly that ...Mark knows what he is doing, but he still welcomed all of my questions and comments. It was a very welcomed calmness to know that we would be both listened to and professionally handled through the entire adventure.
They went out of their way to work around our schedule for our engagement pictures and spent the entire day making sure we took shots at spots very sentimental to us (even if it meant finding an abandoned church in the woods down an old dirt road). It was a long and hot day, but not once did they make us feel like a burden. My husband and I are both awkward when it comes to taking pictures, and they made it so much fun. The entire day was somehow kept very professional and relaxed at the same time. We knew right then that we had truly lucked out getting to book them for our wedding adventure.
Next came my personal bridal pictures. Once again, because of my schedule, they worked around a small window on a Sunday so I could take pictures in my hometown. It was rainy, and I was really afraid these pictures would just be ‘okay’. Nope! Started sprinkling in one place? No worries! The Broadways drove around everywhere to make sure I got the posed indoor elegant shots and the outdoor southern pictures. It was more than just show up and they took the pictures. I felt confident and beautiful through the afternoon because of them. How can you not when Jeannie is dancing with your veil to get it just right in the shot and Mark is (literally) in mud to make sure the angle of the sun behind me did not get missed?
And then there’s the wedding day! Every sweet moment was captured through the day. Their work speaks for itself. The best part of having Mark Broadway for our wedding was not feeling like we were on a time frame for them. I did not have to worry about missing any moment, kiss, dance, smile, or anything else because we truly felt like they were there for us. They worked with us ahead of time to make sure we got any ‘staged’ picture we may want (I had special shoes and my boots that I wanted captured; things like that). They added in other shots I would not have thought of that I fell in love with. The wedding itself was kept about Derek and I - Mark and Jeannie were not blocking me down the aisle or in the way of guests seeing us. To me, it made the images from the ceremony itself seem that much more intimate and beautiful. From the moments immediately after to our farewell dance and drive away, they captured it. I don’t know how, but they managed to capture the happiness of the greatest day of our lives.
Once the day was over and honeymoon passed, we still felt like an important customer. They set up an individual viewing party to see all of our images, walked us through all of the options for albums (the beauty of the albums are on a whole other level themselves), and (again) answered all of my many questions. Product turnaround was super fast!
I still cannot believe we managed to book Mark Broadway for this chapter in our lives. I could go on and on about how amazing the entire experience was working with them. If you cannot already tell, I HIGHLY recommend Mark Broadway for any important event or moment you have in your life.
