Two moments stand out: our stepdaughter was going to give a speech during the reception, and we thought it would be cool for her to have a "walk-up" song. Mark was totally into it! He carried the moment's music, and she nailed the speech. Then, right as our first dance ended, he hit the note of the first song and got everyone on the dance floor immediately! The energy soared, and the party started! We loved having his as part of our celebration.

nk a DJ’s important job is also hosting the reception in terms of direction and energy. He kept the energy up and kept things moving on time. If a song every caused the dance floor to hit a lull, he managed to get everyone back out there again. He even played one song that I wasn’t too sure about and somehow with that song managed to get my husband’s entire family out on the dance floor. You’ve just got to trust him, because he’ll keep people on the dance floor. It was a great night and he kept everything on pace. One of my favorite parts of the night was when he played a Sailor Moon song I had specifically requested but knew was obscure and would be hard to find. He got everyone out on the dance floor for the slow song and it was such nice moment I cried!

We talked over the phone after filling out a quick "expectations and info" form, and he knew EXACTLY what we wanted. This guy has been around, and knows how to throw an amazing party -- If you book Mark you won't need to worry about awkward gaffs, ad-libbed proceedings or anything that would kill the vibe. Additionally, he gets bonus points for getting me extra sound equipment the day of the event (equipment I thought the pastor said he would provide). Mark was easy to contact, and very accommodating in all he did. My wife and I discussed with Mark how we wanted a fun ceremony with lots of dancing, and nothing that would give off a cheesy vibe. Secretly, knowing my friends, I was pretty concerned that we would need to manually need to drag people onto the dance floor, but Mark got people up, and the dance floor was PACKED the entire night. It could not have been a more fun wedding, and all our friends are raving about how fun the ceremony and reception were.
