Our search for the perfect wedding photographer led us to Mark Ducharme, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results. My husband and I couldn't be happier that we found Mark. We are not comfortable in front of the camera and are definitely not a couple that likes to be the center of attention but mark made us comfortable and we had a blast at our engagement shoot by the time we got married we felt natural and comfortable in front of the camera. Mark was a lot of fun to work with. We are delighted we did our engagement shoot with him and had an opportunity to meet and work with him before our wedding. It made our wedding day feel much more personal. Mark reached out exactly when he said he would for all the touch-points leading up to our wedding. He was on time, prepared, energetic, funny, and most importantly, he is a great photographer!! Mark has a process for capturing all of the formal photos after the ceremony that works without having to create a "shot list" to send to him before. He managed to photograph the various groupings of the important people in our lives and did it quickly so we could start celebrating with our guests.

Mark was such a pro to work with for our wedding. He completely captured the day with a mix formal and candid photos. The engagement shoot was such a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. Mark is very personable, has a great sense of humor and is skilled at making people feel at ease. He is also great at "hearding cats" and giving direction which was very needed for some of the bigger group photos. The whole process working with him was a breeze. Highly recommend!

Mark is amazing. You cannot beat the value of the services he provides. He is easy to work with and communicative during the planning process. As for our photos, they are incredible! My husband is terrible is front of any camera and Mark makes it a very easy process to get used to each other and how to not make an awkward picture, the engagement session really really helped. We cannot say enough good things about Mark. He made us all feel comfortable in front of the camera from the time we met for our engagement photos all the way through the wedding. He organized and directed our group so we got all the very best photos and worked with us through all the rain on our wedding day. We love every single photo we got back. From the very beginning Mark was incredible. Every request and or idea, Mark was not only executing but was also encouraging us. We were a little crazy and wanted our engagement shoot to be in the snow, and Mark was there taking the best pictures. The free engagement pictures was a HUGE plus and allowed us to get familiar with Mark for our wedding day. Our families are a little hectic and Mark was fast and efficient, he knew what pictures to take, where to be and what to avoid. Mark also gave us a sneak peak less than 24 hrs later! I hear stories from other brides on how their pictures took over 8 weeks, Mark gave us full access to our pictures in 2 weeks, and they absolutely amazing. Mark was such a FANTASTIC photographer for our wedding on June 10th, 2023 in Madbury, New Hampshire. We met him in September 2022 for our engagement photos (which are included in your wedding package, huge plus!) and had a blast with him. Similar to many other couples' reviews, Mark was amazing and we are so fortunate to have had him capture our wedding day! When we met Mark for our engagement shoot, he was quick to make jokes and make us laugh -- getting us both comfortable in front of the camera. On our weding day he was punctual and organized. Mark was truly such a joy to work with! He had us cracking up the entire day for our photos which came out beautiful on a hot sunny day. He is very fast, efficient, and will do what he needs to for the perfect shot. Not only did he capture amazing photos of us, but took great couples shots of our guests. Mark was amazing to work with, highly recommend! He is super friendly and goofy to get you comfortable whether it is the engagement shoot or for the big day itself. He gives great prompts and pose suggestions. He is also incredibly fast at editing and processing the photos - we got sneak peak photos literally on our wedding night and continued to get more previews over the next week or two. And had all our edited photos back within a month! That is practically unheard of with other wedding photographers. Mark also hand delivered our customized wedding album to make sure it was in pristine condition and everything we wanted. So impressed by Mark’s work for both the engagement session and wedding photos. He was very attentive, gave his professional opinion/suggestion on what would look amazing for poses and locations, and made sure he captured everything we were looking for. Mark was such an excellent photographer to work with!! From the get go he was responsive and great about answering questions and getting the details set. As a couple who feels a little awkward being photographed, Mark could not have put us more at ease and made the whole process so fun! The day of he was a steady presence and his sense of humor was very much appreciated. He handled family photos (which I found particularly stressful myself!) like a total pro, and was especially wonderful with one of our family members with dementia. The photographs were returned to us in a timely manner, and the teaser alone was worth the overall cost! When first contacting Mark he seemed like a reputable photographer. Given the COVID pandemic which is causing our wedding to need to be postponed out of safety and health reasons in my it appears his level of professionalism diminished, in my opinion typing to a consumer " u" shows a lack of professional correspondence. I had to ask twice about refund for the deposit given COVID19. Mark ignored the first inquiry but did respond to the second request. He reported " I'm keeping the deposit/retainer due to the other potential clients have asked for that date in the past before covid pandemic started therefore the deposit may be used if you decided to use me next year or when u get married" Mark is the only vendor I have encountered that is not given back deposits. Again the cancelation was due to a PANDEMIC not any other reason.

Our wedding was a basically a destination wedding for us and Mark made it flawless! We did the Engagement shots around his hometown and had great results. The actual wedding day was brilliant. It was freezing and we went up the chairlift at Sunapee and Mark was an absolute trooper! Our favorite photos are from the mountaintop (I really believe that other photographers would have passed). We did a variety of poses and the final Photos were just gorgeous. We also had a second shooter, Jimmy, who was fabulous. Jimmy worked with the groomsmen and he did a lot of great photos with them too. Mark directed the usual bridal party photos and we didn’t need to think about anything! 10/10 would recommend! After many hours of research and interviews with many photographers we chose to move forward with Mark Ducharme and we are so glad we did. The entire experience from the engagement pictures where Mark introduces you to his style and gets to know you personally to the amazing experience he provides on the wedding day where he is there to catch every magical moment with his trained eye sets Mark apart from any other photographer. He worked harder than any vendor and by the end of the process becomes like an old friend. The value that Mark brings to the experience far exceeds his cost. He doesn't just take the picture he captures the moment with the appropriate lighting or the perfect back drop. Mark works with extreme passion as if he is taking pictures for his own daughter wedding, refusing to take a less than perfect shot. Out of all the vendors we had for our wedding this was the only review I wrote because we valued his work so much and he deserves all the praise. I can't stress enough how perfect the entire experience was. Mark is truly an artist.

We opted for a package that included an engagement shoot, which took place at a handful of locations in NH, and helped us get to know Mark and be ready and relaxed for the wedding day. Our wedding photos are above and beyond! We had a smaller wedding, so we are fortunate to have gorgeous photos of every person in attendance, as well as perfectly-captured images of every moment of the day. His attention to detail and ability to see people's personalities shine through is remarkable. We received some great photos right after the wedding, and a full set on a thumb drive within a few weeks. We plan to see Mark again in future for family portraits. Several years ago, I started following the works of multiple area photographers through social media. After spending a few years, following various photographers, I fell in love with a few. After getting engaged in late 2016, I immediately knew who I wanted to photograph our wedding. I quickly emailed Mark to find out his availability. With nearly two years in advance, he was available, and I was stoked. His prices are amazing and within reason as far as wedding photographers go. He website lists the prices and what he includes. One of my favorite part of his packages, is that he includes a free engagement session with each wedding package. My fiancé (now husband) and I, took him up on this opportunity. Last October, we travelled down to Pelham and met him. His personality is fantastic. He has a great sense of humor and made taking photos easy. He sat us down and asked for our vision, and what we expected. He took down the details of our wedding day (time, place, etc.) He quickly whisked us around town, allowing for clothing changes, laughter, and some great photos. A quick turn around time, we had photos that we loved. On our wedding date, he showed up professional and on time. He directed us in our photos (without making us come up with our own ideas). When we had and idea, he allowed us the picture. We went to three different sites for photos (all within a mile of our wedding venue). We had a blast and again, he made it easy! I appreciated his humor on our day, as nerves were high. I was excited to see, he had taken pictures of all our wedding guests as couples prior to the ceremony and at dinner. He has an impeccable talent and constantly was off photographing without much break. When people were gathering to take photos with a phone, Mark was there to take the picture with the camera. He did whatever picture we wanted without hesitation. In a months’ time, he has given us a preview of our big day. We love our photos. The color, quality, and images really capture the day. Our photos will be cherished forever because of him. I also like the fact, he doesn’t have a big gawdy logo that he places on every photo. In fact, I don’t believe he even uses one at all. I will be forever grateful for his skill and I will continue recommending him and his work to anyone who asks. I look forward to the work he gives you and your families throughout the coming years. Mark's work is AMAZING! He truly captures everything; getting ready, first kiss, first dance etc. He is easy to work with, flexible and responds in a timely fashion. We would highly recommend him!

Honestly, Mark was great from start to finish. Not only are his prices amazing, the service is even better. He is quick to respond to questions/concerns, the images came out UNBELIEVABLE, and he even worked through my rainy ceremony without a complaint. I would recommend him 1000x over.
