When my husband and I recently decided to reset my diamonds, Mark Schneiders was our immediate choice. When we got married, they designed a beautiful, custom engraved band that fit my engagement ring, and we bought a beautiful estate piece for his wedding band. For my new rings, they designed completely from scratch, based on what we wanted, and the result is beautiful and really high quality. All the staff are friendly, attentive, and helpful; we worked with Tara, who was easy and pleasant to communicate with. On my last visit to pick up my rings, I also saw some lovely pieces that would suit my daughters in the future. I can't recommend Mark Schneider highly enough, especially if you live in SoCal and can visit their store.

So the positives are this: Quality jewelry Ability to create what you want Cool modern designs by them Personal meetings with specialists Family owned business I LOVE my blue infused diamond that a lab created in NY for me. It is special to my husband and I and we like that it's not one you can see in a store display. It was well worth the price. Just make sure you are very clear and direct about what you want. Our diamond first came out horizontal instead of vertical in the setting. They knew it was their fault so thankfully they fixed it for free but we had to wait two months. Then when we got it back the ring was not the right size and it sat higher than it did before, so we had to send it back to get altered again. Luckily it is perfect now and I love it. I just had to part with it twice due to the lack of proper documentation perhaps. Definitely worth a look though!

After other uncomfortable visits with jewelers, Dave Schneider's really delivered! They expertly guided us in the buying of a estate diamond to fit the engagement ring we choose. We consulted their designer, Chelsea to make a wedding ring to match. When we picked up the ring, she surprised us with watercolor designs of the ring and it's engagement counterpart to match. She's a true artist; most of the jewelry she wears, she has designed. When we were disappointed with a online ring purchase for his wedding band, we opted to take a vintage piece from his grandfather to Schneider's for cleaning and polishing. It came out looking like new and he is proud to wear his grandfather's ring as his wedding band. It is more expensive, but for the tailored, gracious experience and quality of materials, you absolutely get what you pay for!

we love our jeweler! They have worked with my husbands family for generations. He designs his own rings and bands so you get a very unique piece. We were able to trade on some gold as well to get credit for our wedding rings. My engagement ring had a band made it fit it which I love. They are very accommodating and make it an easy visit as well as having fresh cookies all the time!

My now husband purchased my engagement ring at Dave Schnedier, and all I can say is gorgeous. The only direction that I gave my fiance is that that I wanted a unique ring with sapphire. He ended up purchasing the Kismet ring and customizing it, using a sapphire as a center stone and adding pavee diamonds. Gorgeous! If you are looking for something diffent, this is th place to go!
