m put me at ease and I knew that in addition to taking amazing photos, he would set the tone for a stress-free wedding day. We hired Mark to take both our engagement and wedding photos and we have received countless compliments on them. In both sets of photos, my husband and I look like the best versions of ourselves and I think he truly captured our love, joy, and sense of humor. I am the type of person who finds I need to take 15 photos to get one I like of myself, but Mark excels in giving little prompts and minor adjustments so that the process is natural and effortless and results in gorgeous images. Mark was wonderful to work with the entire year leading up to our wedding. He was there to give us great suggestions on other vendors we were considering, drawing on his over 13 years of experience. He was incredibly flexible when it came to adjusting our package to add more time and he helped us craft a timeline so that we could get all of the portraits we wanted without doing a first look or exhausting beloved older family members. We loved that he was able to move through our shot list quickly so that our relatives could get on to cocktail hour, while delivering incredible portraits we will treasure forever. He truly captured the energy and love surrounding us on our wedding day and I absolutely love flipping through all of the moments, especially the ones he and his team photographed but I didn’t see on the day! What’s more, while many photographers won’t deliver photos of your day for months, Mark worked incredibly quickly and we had a large sneak peak of photos to look at before we left for our honeymoon. To quote my bridesmaid “not all heroes wear capes!” The biggest problem you will have with Mark and his team will be narrowing down which photos you ultimately want to get framed, because there will truly be so many you count as forever favorites! We can’t thank Mark enough for all of his hard work to capture us and all of our loved ones on our special day!

the first vendor we booked for our wedding - but we WISH he was because it was our phone call with him that showed us how those interview calls should go. He took a real investment in our story and in our relationship and seemed thrilled at the opportunity to bring it to life on camera. We immediately felt comfortable and at ease . And oh boy, Mark and his colleague Carl DELIVERED and then some on the day of the wedding. Again, put us so totally at ease. My wife and I don't typically enjoy being photographed but we never felt awkward at all and Mark just....captured us as we see ourselves, the version we hope that we project. Never overbearing, always natural and in the moment. Slight adjustments here and there if he felt we were stiffening up. And on schedule! He kept a fantastically cool demeanor on the hottest day of the year in wrangling our large, unruly families for photos. I'll never forget that feeling of relief when I realized the part of the day i had been most stressed about was in such capable hands and there was nothing to worry about. He coached us all the way through and had us happy and smiling and on time to walk down the aisle. And my God, the photos are stunning. The family portraits, the ceremony photos, the reception photos - all of them. He captured the day as we remember it. Fun and full of life with all our loved ones. We keep going back to the photos to relive those moments. Incredible. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the speed! We had a link to a sneak peak gallery within 24hrs of the wedding and a complete set of photos only a few short weeks later. Amazing turnaround and so communicative throughout. Book Mark now. / posed. We had to reschedule our wedding with COVID and Mark was incredibly professional, supportive, and responsive. When it came to the actual wedding day, Mark went above and beyond to make everything went smoothly and was just a joy to be around. He is the type of photographer who connects with every member of your family and wedding party, finding a way to get your grandmother an umbrella when no one is watching. Other than your spouse, you spend the most time during your wedding day with your photographer, and Mark was the most fun to be around. If that doesn't tell you how passionate and attentive Mark is, know also that he finds the perfect moments to pull you for photos without intruding on the flow of the event. Mark photographed both our Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding and these quick sneak-away sessions are our favorites from the weekend. Our guests all commented on how great Mark was and how at-ease he put them throughout both events. He got the most amazing shots of everyone! At the time of booking, we were pregnant and expecting our first child in March fully expecting that a September wedding would still work for everyone. Not even a month after paying Mark, we made a decision to postpone our wedding so we didn't rush things and could enjoy our time with our newborn son - we locked in a date for June 2019 with Mark. Fast forward to December 2018, we find out that we are expecting again and officially cancel plans to even have a wedding. We figured that since no services were actually given and that we were giving ample notice that we would receive a full credit for our deposit of $2,000. Initially Mark was willing to work with us on giving a refund if he were able to book someone for the same date which we had full confidence he would be able to do. I even asked if we could use the $2,000 as a credit towards family pictures to be scheduled the day we booked and he declined because the contract was specifically for wedding pictures. After 4 months of waiting for him to get booked, we had a friend inquire anonymously about our wedding date and his availability and he declined "stating he was unavailable". I used this as an opportunity to again ask for a refund or for a credit towards family pictures - Mark declined both and responded by saying he was no longer going to respond to threats and wouldn't be answering any further emails. Mark is a talented photographer but a poor business man. We gave him several opportunities to work with us and gave him options to make the situation right but he refused to do it. It's extremely frustrating having spent a lot of money for a service that was never provided and being a young family that could use it back. There are plenty of photographers that are not only talented like Mark but are good people and are willing to work through life circumstances and put the customer first. I would highly advise not working with him and finding someone else to be a part of your special day.
