When I first met Mark, I was at a Wedding Expo and very recently engaged so I was just there to focus on venues. Mark took the time to get to know me, my vision, and my budget to offer genuine advice and suggestions. Not once was he pushy about his own business, he just wanted to be helpful. Naturally, he made an impression and as soon as my husband and I were ready to talk about photographers, I wanted to work with Mark! Even though we had a frugal budget, I knew quality photos were high on my wish list and Mark Wayne Photography offers a great middle of the road price for high quality products. When we met with Mark and found out he was available for our wedding date, I was beyond thrilled! My husband and I both come from divorced parents so we wanted to be extremely sensitive to our family members and respectful through the wedding process- especially the day of. Mark is very experienced and made us feel so at ease about how the day would go. He is friendly and relaxed, but also easily directs a room to make sure not a minute is wasted during your photos. Everyone at the wedding talked about how great the photographer was. He was everywhere and yet never in the way and carefully timed things so he could pull us away to get some gorgeous photos later in the evening (we had an outdoor wedding) without interrupting the party. It was the BEST day of our lives and he captured that effortlessly! A week following the wedding, we had some bittersweet news- my husband’s grandmother, who was in poor health and whose goal was to make it to our wedding, had passed away. I reached out to Mark to see if we could get a few of the wedding photos with her in time for the funeral the following week. Mark didn’t miss a beat and within HOURS had sent access to at least 20 beautifully edited photos along with kind condolences about how he was honored to have been able to capture those moments for us. Of course, this brought me along with many family members to tears. We were blown away by how thoughtful Mark was once again. He is the perfect example of how actions speak louder than words and he has truly become a friend of the family. We know without a doubt we will be lifelong customers for all of our exciting milestones to come! Thank you Mark Wayne !!!

He made us feel relaxed (even though being photographed is not our thing) and he managed to capture everything, yet his presence was so subtle. Mark was so quick in getting our photos to us and they are more than we could have asked for- Mark is incredibly talented!

As far as the event, he was on time, lurked in the shadows, and captured all of the important moments without distracting from the enjoyment of festivities. (If you have been in a wedding before, you know what I mean.) We had the photos in 3 weeks, super quick turnaround. I cannot say enough good things.

We received our wedding pictures early and we are amazed at the artistry and how incredible our day looked. e, however a coworker or ours had used him for their wedding as well and had incredible things to say. A couple of things that really stood out were his professionalism. He responds to every email incredibly fast, shows up early and was both reliable and a great communicator. Another thing that really stuck out was his desire to tailor the photos to us. With our family dynamics we had some specific shots we were hoping for, and he took great care to get every one of them. In addition, his interaction with guests at the wedding was phenomenal. I don’t know he does it, but it was easy to forget he was there, and our family members loved him. Finally, the pictures themselves where fantastic. Both the engagement and wedding photos were delivered on a thumb drive with incredibly high quality, and a phenomenal mix of posed and candid photos. We have more photos than we ever expected, and could not recommend Mark Wayne higher.

Mark reached out to us closer to the wedding to go over a day-of agenda. We didn't use a planner so I (the bride) put one together. He gave feedback on the flow, and it became extra apparent Mark Wayne is a seasoned professional as a photographer, specifically weddings...especially in New Mexico. WEDDING DAY: Mark was early and flexible with the inevitable mayhem. He worked seamlessly with his videographer to set up shots, and was patient as the wedding party organized ourselves. He was very calm, and communicated when we could relax and take our time and when we needed to get it together to stay on track. Mark is FAST (even our minister said he's one of the fastest photographers he's worked with) and is self-assured with his camera. It allowed everyone to relax and have fun. We shot at 3 locations, our host hotel, the church and at our reception venue. Lighting is different in all locations, and all our photos came out beautifully. AESTHETIC: We did not want a lame wedding photographer with over-editing. Mark shoots in a documentary-stye, which we LOVE. Our photos came out with a realness, grit, and soft romance to them. They're an honest representation of the day. Mark also picked up on the goofiness my wife and I have, and threw in candids that turned out to be some of our favorites! VALUE & DELIVERY: Timely! He even threw in extra photos, and every shot is flawlessly edited. The video, while not a Hollywood production was great and very cost effective. OVERALL: Book Mark Wayne Photography now. To say that our pictures came out great, would be an understatement. What Mark is exceptional at, is figuring out who you are as a couple and really capturing the collective and individual personalities of you both. More so, he captures the emotion, fun and the very spirit of the day--not just of (and for) us, but of our entire guest list as well. There is no way we would be able to cherish the memory of the day without him. How does he do it? I'll tell you. He has a winning personality and he seems to really love what he does.
