Welcome to Market Place Kitchen & Bar! We are a new Modern American Restaurant in the heart of Danbury, CT. We are run by General Manager Matt Dohan and Executive Patrick Casasanta. We celebrate and encourage local, organic and sustainably harvested food and spirits. We offer private dining experiences within our restaurant with seating capacity for up to 50 people. Our private dining room is perfect for bridal parties, showers and small wedding receptions. We look forward to making your special event a memorable one.

on while we were touring our venue in Brookfield, it was a no brainer. The Danbury location uses the dining room on the right side as their event space which includes its own entrance so your guests don’t have to go through the dinning room, which I thought was a nice detail. Erick, the general manager, was so easy to work with setting up the details for the evening. He answered all my crazy questions and was able to make sure all my guests dietary restrictions were accommodated. Day of, we dealt with Matt, Brittany, and Lynnae, all of who were extremely friendly and helpful! The night went off without any problems and, of course, the food was delicious. All of our guests had a great time and we even got to take home the leftover appetizers and desserts. I had left my sign behind and they kindly held onto it for me. Everyone at Marketplace in Danbury was a pleasure to work with and I’d recommend them for any event! Can’t wait to go back for dinner some time soon!

ation. The staff were so friendly and accommodating as well. We had a brunch with 30 guests. The tables were set up in a U shape in the room with a side table for the appetizers and a table for gifts. The food was fantastic. We added on the charcuterie appetizer which was perfect to have while mingling with everyone. You are able to choose 4 main courses to offer to your guests. Our guests loved the MP scramble and chicken and waffles. The portions were very generous as well. The desserts that came with the brunch were so good too! I made sure to wrap up the extras to bring back to my fiancé. The only thing that was a slight negative but didn’t really impact the day was that the room was smaller than I anticipated making it a little difficult to get in and out of your seat when everyone was seated for the meal.
