Welcome to Market Place Kitchen & Bar! We are a new Modern American Restaurant in the heart of Avon, CT. We are run by General Manager Courtney Maggio and Executive Chef Roy Kalil. We celebrate and encourage local, organic and sustainably harvested food and spirits. We offer private dining experiences within our restaurant with seating capacity for up t0 60 people. Our private dining room is perfect for bridal parties, showers and small wedding receptions. We look forward to making your special event a memorable one.

Courtney Maggio

Manager

Trying her hand in Teaching, Real Estate and Insurance, Courtney Maggio has pursued many of her interests in her professional career, but always felt most at home and passionate in the hospitality industry. Courtney holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Management as well as a degree in Computer Science from Keene State College. She joined the Market Place family and began working in the front of house in 2013 at Market Place Kitchen & Bar in Danbury, CT. Since then she has helped open two additional Market Place Restaurants in Woodbury, CT and Avon, CT.
