He added two sapphires on either side of the diamond. It is stunning. I love my ring! We came in later to have my band and engagement ring sized, and while we were there we also ordered my husband's band. He went with a popular style of tungsten carbide.
The level of quality and service provided at Marlens is beyond expectations of a fine jeweler. I was concerned my engagement ring may be too large now that it rests after my band and the Jeweler said to stop in during the week and it would only take the craftsman an hour to fix! He even offered to buy me lunch while I waited! Such incredible quality and care! They are a must for any jewelry needs!

ring process (although I was not involved), and my experience with them during the band purchase was great. We worked with Patrick, who is a great guy. Every time we went in they polished my engagement ring, and they also sized it for me free of charge. We also had my wedding band engraved at Marlen.
We did end up going through a different (online) vendor for my husband's platinum wedding band, because he chose a very classic/plain style and we discovered that it cost literally twice as much in the jewelry store versus online. We would have been willing to pay a little more, but not double.

Staff is patient and provides excellent advise. My husband was deployed overseas and was able to call and arrange everything for my engagement ring.
