anted to take the time to thank Rhett! When I first contacted Rhett I knew he was the photographer for us based on his personalized response. We asked for a bit of an unusual session from him as we wanted to travel all over the Charleston area on our wedding day to take pictures with as many local backdrops as we could. Rhett didn't blink an eye, he was all for the adventure! We were new to the area so we left it up to him to plan the day and he chose the most amazing locations, even including a coffee shop that captured part of our love story. I am thankful that we found Rhett and will be hiring him again to explore more locations in the future.

Having worked in the wedding industry, I know that they all tend to look and feel the same, but he made us feel like a wedding he'll never forget. As a seriously directionally challenged person that is surrounded by directionally challenged people, Rhett made the whole process fun and had me laughing the whole time (which saved me from a lot of teary photos, which I wanted to avoid). Our tiny group was like herding cats. We did a micro wedding, and I loved that Rhett also listened when I told him that I wanted the individual families to be able to use this occasion to get their own Christmas photos. He also didn't even bat an eye when I told him that I wanted to go out and do some night photos, because I LOVED his night/rain photos. They turned out AMAZING. That and he got all 400 photos back to us within a week!!! I was so thrilled to be able to sit on a beach in Jamaica and go through each photo with just my brand new husband and I. I cannot recommend Rhett enough. Best wedding vendor decision you can make.

My fiancé and I tend to be shy, especially when taking pictures. During our engagement photos Rhett got us out of our shells and made us feel so comfortable. He spent the time making sure we got all the poses and locations we wanted in Downtown Charleston. I would highly recommend Rhett for all your photography needs!!

os. The getting ready space, ceremony, and reception were all at different locations. Rhett had to lug his equipment (and set it up and break it down) countless times throughout the day, and I didn't see him stress about any of it once. He was very easy to work with and communicate with, and kept my couple feeling at ease throughout the day. The photos I received back were beautiful, and exactly what my couple was looking for! I loved the way his editing brought out the vibrant colors of their wedding florals and decor. I would love to work with Rhett again, and definitely recommend him to others!!

hance to work with him! Since we were in Charleston for the whole week of our wedding, we asked if we could do a family session in addition to just the wedding day. It was a wonderful chance for our boys (blended family wedding) to work with Rhett prior to the wedding so they could get a feel for what he would be asking them to do and to be comfortable! The best part about working with Rhett, he asks all the right questions and listens to you and comes up with ideas that match the style of photos you are looking for! He works quickly to get the group shots & so understanding an accommodating! My brother in law had a traumatic brain injury the year before & still has limited mobility, Rhett had no problem picking 2 spots at our venue that were close and didn’t require to much walking but still gave us different backgrounds and looks! He is also amazing with kids, so if you will have kids involved I HIGHLY recommend him just for that fact alone! He also uses a drone if the weather cooperates which will give you some awesome shots!! At the end of the day, once your big day is over, your photos are your best keepsakes - and I am NOT disappointed with a single photo!!! He got photos of things I didn’t see or get a chance to truly appreciate in the moment so it was awesome to relive those moments in photos! Hands down, one of the best photographers I’ve had the pleasure to work with!

ted looking for a photographer, Rhett’s work stood out. He has such a unique eye and his photos of families and engagements on the beach drew us in. From our first virtual meeting, we knew we wanted to hire him. He was very talented but also made us feel 100% comfortable right off the bat. Our engagement session was full of adventures, we walked on folly beach, had an outfit change in public, walked into the marsh, and popped champagne on the beach. His lightheartedness and sense of humor put us at ease, and he captured genuine moments of happiness, not stiff poses. Before our wedding it was threatening to rain, and the bridal party was worried about pictures. Rhett ran with the punches and found the perfect spots under Spanish moss that left us dry and let us get the beautiful pictures before the ceremony. The groomsmen let loose and took the best candid shots with the groom. He captured every meaningful moment in our ceremony and throughout the night. We felt like he was part of the party, but with a nice camera. He was such a joy to work with, and surprised us by turning around our pictures in two weeks!! If you want a magical wedding experience, hire Rhett! He truly values real moments over poses and can somehow capture the moments when you’re laughing and also looking gorgeous.

hed out to inquire about a photographer and he was very direct in answering any and all questions I had. Rhett was very nice and friendly, but didn’t waste my time trying to “sell” me anything and he was very professional. When we had to change the venue at the last minute, he rolled with everything. On the actual day of the wedding, he was there early and was even helping with some of the last minute wedding set up. Rhett drove with us all over the island to get the best pictures and stayed a little late without complaint when we could not get the families corralled to take photos. The photos were emailed to me within a week and they were gorgeous! The cost was also extremely reasonable for what we got- my friends who were married recently were very impressed by the quality of the photos especially considering how much we paid. I would highly recommend Rhett to anyone looking for a photographer in the Charleston area and I’m already planning to get Rhett to take family photos for us next time we are down.
