Where do I begin? Marlie Renee Designs creates simply gorgeous invitations!!!! My family and friends have been talking about them ever since they were mailed. She makes everything custom to fit your needs and the quality is the best yet!!!

Marlie and her assistant Shadé were awesome to work with. I absolutely loved my invitiations and received soooo many compliments on them! She was even patient with me when I wanted to do a full redesign and still ensured we met our deadlines. I’m excited she’ll be doing our day-of-stationary as well to pull it all together. Working with Marlie was so fun from day 1! We worked together on both my save the dates and my wedding invitations and she completely understood my vision and brought it to life! There isn’t anything she can’t do. She makes the process super easy and is so organized which was amazing! I have never received so many compliments on anything as I did my wedding invite.. they came out absolutely beautifully. Marlie also made sure we were perfectly on time with sending everything out, even after I came to her in panic after postponing our date. Already looking for an excuse to have another event so we can create more invites!

Marlie is AMAZING! Let me just start by saying that from day 1, she was responsive and so open to our vision and ideas as a couple and the invitations she created for us embodied that perfectly. I am an artist and wanted to do a lot of the pieces of the invitations myself (wax seals, vellum, etc.) so she worked with us to come up with ideas to make our invitations flow seamlessly with the vibe of our wedding. We ran into a bit of a bump in the process when, after myself and my family had all looked over the proof and somehow missed "Satuday" spelled without an "r", we had to have the invitations reprinted. Not only did Marlie reach out to the printer with no questions asked, she expedited the printing of all new invitations for us so I could still get them sent out in time. THAT is someone who makes the stress of planning a wedding much better! Thank you Marlie for your amazing work and I can't wait for my guests to receive these!

Marlie was so so easy to work with from our first phone call last December! We originally planned to have Marlie create our invitations (the design process and mock ups were amazing!) but since COVID changed our plans, she designed our "Change the Date" cards. They were so cute and unique. We got so many compliments on them! We're looking forward to working with Marlie again next year on the wedding invitations for our new date. Marlie was a true pleasure to work with. I was able to win one of her monthly raffles on Instagram to get 100 free save the dates. Amazing right ? She worked with my husband and I on the design and was always willing to go back to the drawing board to fulfill our vision. She even worked with us on upgrading them to magnets, which were great quality may I add! I would recommend her 1,000 times. She’s professional, truly loves what she does, and does it well!

Marlie was recommended to us my by sister and we're so pleased we chose her to help with our invitations. Marlie was so great working with us on a tight timeline and over different time zones to help get our invitations done in time. Because we were sending our invitations to people in the US and UK we needed extra help with printing the addresses and Marlie was so helpful and patient with us as we made sure everything was right but she was also great in helping us stick to our timeline and budget. Marlie designed our gorgeous wedding invitation suite and day-of stationary for our Shelter Island wedding in September 2019. She really worked with us to bring our vision to life, and was extremely helpful throughout the process. I can’t even write everything I want here - the words wouldn’t do it justice. Marlie is not just a professional but she’s a damn good designer. She was accommodating and worked with our budget(s) where others would not. This wedding process gets disgusting and some vendors you will learn are ruthless. Marlie is NOT. She continuously came back to me and my lady with ideas on how to get us what we wanted and still stay in the budget frame we needed. I can say this, your invites say a lot about your big day. SHITTERFLY invites are going to tell the people around you that your wedding is generic and the “same” and for some that is okay! But in New York where 50k on a wedding barely gets you 150ppl and cuts all the corners you and your loved one worked so Hard to save and budget to plan, don’t go cheap on the invites. It’s the most expensive paper I have ever bought and I would not have changed it for the world. Marlie packages her box perfectly. Everything is labeled and instructions on how to do are soooo simple. She made it so easy for us truthfully and we are so appreciative of it. Hell Marlie seems like the kind of person we would even wanna hang out with outside of work and home she’s so laid back and easy going. Her work speaks for itself and there’s a definitive reason she’s a Top KNOT vendor. You get what you pay for folks, don’t spend 500$ on cheap invites that will go to the trash or become a coaster! Marlie is the best ever! After searching to find the right person who understood my vision and what I wanted, I looked no father than to Marlie. My best friend had used her for her wedding and I knew that she would create magic for me. Her professionalism accompanied with her artistic design ability made her the top pick over everyone else. I came across Marlie on my search for a local designer on Knot. While it took us sometime to schedule the initial call due to our timing conflict, I knew I found the right person after we got on the phone. She was very attentive to my timeline and budget needs. She created a few invitation designs for proof of concept and then she took my feedback to come up with a few more targeted designs. We were also very grateful for Marlie's flexibility in our last minute count changes. I loved how my invitation came out; I have received countless compliments on it. Marlie did a wonderful job. She made the most unique invitations for me. I had an idea and she just brought it to life. EVERYONE complimented on the designs. We were introduced to Marlie Renee Designs by our close friend and DJ based on previous experiences he had with them. We were looking for a wedding invitation company that could provide a final product that left an impression upon our friends and family of what was in store for our Wedding Celebration. Marlie was really nice upon meeting her and very personable. She was able to make our custom design and vision come to life in her proof she provided. Pricing was a bit high, however, we were willing to pay the price for a superior product. Fast forward to our friends and family receiving our Wedding invitations, that's when things took a turn. The first signs of problems, we were receiving invites back in the mail as undeliverable because of mistyped addresses on Marlie's end. We provided and confirmed all the addresses that were turned over to Marlie for print. Short time later, we were being notified by several guests that they had received their invite absent the insert for them to complete their RSVP. Furthermore several guests did not receive an invitation, leading us to conclude that the invitations were sent to the wrong addresses. We then had to go through our guest list and CALL to confirm whether or not they received their invitations. This was extremely time consuming and burdensome at a time that was already extremely stressful. When we contacted her and notified her of this, her proposed solution was to remove the cost of the four RSVP cards from the invoice she did not include in the invitations. Furthermore, when we made attempts to resolve the issue with Marlie, she offered to speak on her time which was late in the evening and not conducive to our schedule. She even said via email, "As you know I am a small business owner and planning my own wedding and put a lot of time and money into creating your beautiful invitations, including purchasing the materials and postage." In closing, we paid $2,147.00 minus the $50.00 that we refused to pay because it was itemized on the invoice as typed addresses fee which we provided in word document with no errors and were miss typed on the envelopes. There was no care or attention to detail in her final product, especially for the price we paid. In the end, we simply paid her to put an end the only stressful part of our wedding planning.

She was so easy to work with, accommodated design changes, worked within our budget, and effortlessly helped create our vision for the invitations. Once the designing stage was finalized, Marlie completed the production of the invitations quickly and efficiently.
