Hiring DJ Dave may have been the best choice we made for our wedding!!! Our guests are still talking about how awesome he was! He kept the volume at the perfect level for our out...
door venue and for our guests to be able to have conversations if they did not feel like dancing. He does an awesome job making announcements as needed throughout the night and he was even willing to run the shoe game for us! His online portal was very helpful... it helped keep us organized and he played all the music that we requested. One of the best parts of having Dave at our reception was he led group dances and line dances, which were so much fun and got people out on the dance floor! I cannot say enough good things about Marlin DJs. We highly recommend DJ Dave!!!
Dave DOES NOT disappoint. He will get your crowd on their feet and keep them on their feet. He will teach dances and take requests. Everyone at our reception raved on how funny and...
personable he is. He listens to exactly what you want and tailors your event to match the theme.
I've known Dave for close to 10 years and learned to country line dance with him. Even if he was a stranger I hired for my wedding, my opinion of him and Marlin Disc Jockeys wouldn't change. He is a pleasure to work with and is extremely professional. I told my husband (then fiance) when we started the planning that there would be no looking for djs for the wedding because we would be hiring Dave.
100% recommend him for ANY special event you may be having. If you love country and want to line dance (or love to already) his dance nights are the best as well!
Thanks again Dave and Susan! You guys ROCK!
Dave Kim was a very thorough and energetic DJ. He really took the time to get to know us before our wedding to get all of the details correct, including how to pronounce each perso...
n’s name in our wedding party. During the event he really listened to the crowd and played all of the right music to get people on the dance floor. Our guests told us how much fun they had dancing and really enjoyed the music selection. He was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend Marlin Disc Jockeys.
Dave was amazing! He really knows how to get the crowd up and moving! The photo booth was also a great hot at the wedding! Simply amazing talent!
I would highly recommend Marlin Disc Jockey’s to any couple looking for a DJ for their wedding. Dave was so accommodating and friendly throughout the entire process. When we had ...
our meeting with him he had so many suggestions for us and made the whole process of picking our songs so easy. Our dance floor was packed the entire night. I still have people saying our wedding was by far the best they have been to in a long time. Dave was so interactive and made sure all of our guests were having a great time, especially my husband and I. We also used their photo booth/up lighting and I would highly recommend this as well. Our guests had a blast with the photo booth and marlin dj’s gives you an album put together with copies of the pictures your guests take with their signatures/messages next to the photos. I can’t thank Dave and the rest of the team at marlin dj’s for making our wedding unforgettable. Choose Marlin Disc Jockey’s as your wedding entertainment, you will not regret a thing!!

y the props package which I would highly recommend. Seeing our friends dancing around in Blues Brothers hats & sunglasses was priceless. Dave played music that was appropriate for our crowd and the volume was perfect for each portion of the night. Highly Recommend ... Totally worth the cost.

d and I did for each other that were played during our first dance. Marlin Disc Jockeys did a great job in creating a party atmosphere at our reception. My husband and I were able to enjoy the party with Marlin leading the way. Our guests raved about the music selection and the energy of the party. DJ Dave was awesome, highly recommend him.

rk with. I got the party prop option so the dance floor was filled with all sorts of fun things from hats, to beads, balloons, and more! We also booked their photo booth option which is a bargain compared to other photo booth companies! And I had it ALL evening instead of paying per hour like all the others! All my guests had so much fun with it!
Dave had an assistant DJ with him so he was out there with us showing us dances and getting involved. Great work! Would recommend these guys to anyone!
we had Dave Kim as our dj. He was so amazing and kept the night going. I would recommend to anyone!
I called Marlin DJ and spoke with Justin. We really clicked, and had much of the same taste in music and ideas as to how a wedding DJ should operate. I had to change my wedding dat...
e two months before my wedding due to the unexpected passing of my father. Marlin DJ's were very accomodating and made the transition smooth. I ended up having Dave Kim DJ my wedding, which was an amazing gift because he is the top DJ and costs a bit more. I was fortunate enough to get his services and expertise for the original amount that we had paid. During the reception, we had one minor change, and they were impeccably professional about every detail. I had requested that not too many cheesy group songs be played, so Dave actually came to me and double checked to make sure it was ok to play certain songs as guests requested them, and then I realized, oh my word...as long as people are having fun, I really didn't care what was playing. I had requested a few songs and they played them immediately for me. They were great to work with and I would definitely book them again if I ever need a DJ.
*Also - regarding pricing - they have stuff under $1000, I just chose a more expensive package.
We were so happy working with Dave, Joe and Justin. They answered every question, e-mail, etc. They showed up dressed professionally, they were easy going, fun and most importantly...
