His online portal was very helpful... it helped keep us organized and he played all the music that we requested. One of the best parts of having Dave at our reception was he led group dances and line dances, which were so much fun and got people out on the dance floor! I've known Dave for close to 10 years and learned to country line dance with him. Even if he was a stranger I hired for my wedding, my opinion of him and Marlin Disc Jockeys wouldn't change. He is a pleasure to work with and is extremely professional. I told my husband (then fiance) when we started the planning that there would be no looking for djs for the wedding because we would be hiring Dave.
100% recommend him for ANY special event you may be having. If you love country and want to line dance (or love to already) his dance nights are the best as well!

our meeting with him he had so many suggestions for us and made the whole process of picking our songs so easy. Our dance floor was packed the entire night. I still have people saying our wedding was by far the best they have been to in a long time. Dave was so interactive and made sure all of our guests were having a great time, especially my husband and I. We also used their photo booth/up lighting and I would highly recommend this as well. Our guests had a blast with the photo booth and marlin dj’s gives you an album put together with copies of the pictures your guests take with their signatures/messages next to the photos. We also booked their photo booth option which is a bargain compared to other photo booth companies! And I had it ALL evening instead of paying per hour like all the others! All my guests had so much fun with it!

e two months before my wedding due to the unexpected passing of my father. Marlin DJ's were very accomodating and made the transition smooth. I ended up having Dave Kim DJ my wedding, which was an amazing gift because he is the top DJ and costs a bit more. I was fortunate enough to get his services and expertise for the original amount that we had paid. During the reception, we had one minor change, and they were impeccably professional about every detail. I had requested that not too many cheesy group songs be played, so Dave actually came to me and double checked to make sure it was ok to play certain songs as guests requested them, and then I realized, oh my word...as long as people are having fun, I really didn't care what was playing. I had requested a few songs and they played them immediately for me. They were great to work with and I would definitely book them again if I ever need a DJ.
*Also - regarding pricing - they have stuff under $1000, I just chose a more expensive package.
