I am so happy we chose marlon as our photographer for our wedding. Not only is the quality of his work amazing, but he is unbelievably easy to work with and captured such beautiful...
memories of our big day at such an affordable price.
My Husband and I aren't avid selfie/picture takers ourselves and are unused to being in front of a lens but Marlon made us feel relaxed during both our engagement and wedding photos, and even managed to make two ugly people like ourselves look good for the first time ever.
He is also really dedicated and stayed longer than he was supposed to, just so he could have some time with us at the end of the night to get some key photos he thought we would like.
I'm so grateful we found him and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer.
Marlon was wonderful!! He was the perfect photographer for what we wanted. I received so many pictures and I love everyone of them. He was a pleasure to work with. He did our engag...
ement photos and our wedding photos and we loved all of his work!
This review is very over do since we got married in August 2016 but we had to make sure we told others about the the amazing job Marlon did for our engagement and wedding photos.

After tons of searching for a reasonable photographer, we were beginning to think it would be impossible. We came across Marlon's website and saw his work and assumed he would be way out of our price range. However, to our surprise, he was right where we wanted to be interms of pricing.
Since we were having a destination wedding, it meant a lot to us that he was so accommodating and easy to contact when we had questions. He was willing to handle everything via email and phone. He worked with us to come up with a realistic photo schedule so that we could get all of the pictures with family in the most efficient manor possible.
We were very pleased with our engagement photo shoot. To his credit it had to be the coldest day in California and he continued to help us take the best pictures and he was always so positive.
The day of our wedding was hectic but Marlon was very calm and reassured us that we would be fine and he would get us the pictures we wanted. His calm demeanor spoke to his professionalism and the amount of experience he has with weddings. Everyone who met Marlon really liked how professional and friendly he was.
Overall, we very impressed with our photos and we would highly recommend Marlon to anyone getting married in SoCal.
Marlon was amazing!!! We loved working with him! He is so friendly and creative and we felt like we could be ourselves and have fun with him. He has a contagious laugh that always ...
made us smile. We will definitely work with him again in the future and we were so happy with our engagement photos so we can't wait to see the final wedding photos! Thanks so much again Marlon! We are so glad we chose you ❤️❤️❤️
We loved Marlon! He made sure we had all the photos we wanted, and even the ones we didn't know we wanted! We shot at 3 different locations, and he was very easy to work with. H...
e gave us over 1,000 photos, and I am having a very hard time choosing my favorites as they all looked AMAZING! The best part was the slide show he created to show during DINNER, all the guests were in awe...THANK YOU MARLON!
We decided our photographer 3-4 days before the wedding. Marlon is very nice gentleman. The cost was also very competitive. We really like the photos in the end. We will definitely...
will contact him if we want to do a photo session in his living area.
Marlon was awesome! He was attentive, creative, very detail-oriented, and made great use of natural light for our pictures. He did not let factors such as the time of day for lig...
hting, location, or the duration of time affect the quality of his work. In fact he was very accommodating, which we really appreciated, given our busy schedules.
We also had a second photographer, Matthew, that works with Marlon. Both were hardworking, attentive, and professional during the day of our wedding.
We, as well as our family and friends, loved the pictures! I can't wait to make a photo book with all the memories Marlon and Matthew captured!
I enjoyed working with Marlon. He loves love and his work shows just that! He was always early whenever we would meet up. He is very trustworthy and he is more about making YOUR d...

My husband and i were both wary of doing a photo shoot for our engagement photos,im not to fond of having my photo taken and neither is my husband, but Marlon made it easy and fun....
He is a warm and sweet person he is alot of fun to work with, i highly recommend him for any type of photography needs.

portantly, my mom. She was so impressed with his work and style. He did capture so many precious moments that made that night a very memorable one. Truly a good photographer and very professional. He came highly recommended and was referred by a friend and now I'm referring him to my family and friends as well. We were very pleased with his work and looking forward to working with him again. Many thanks Marlon.
Marlon was the Photographer for my Wedding and of course my Husband and I did not know what to do or what poses to do and Marlon was really great at giving us direction that we fel...
t comfortable with.
I noticed later on when I was looking at the photos that he really captured some great moments while nobody even realized he was taking photos of them.
I received a full set of all of the photos after he retouched them and edited them in black and white and in full color. I ordered a glass book from him for the photos I selected and it was well worth it. I will definitely use Marlon in the future for any parties I may have.
Marlon was a pleasure to work with. He was very open-minded concerning the shots that we were looking for. He also did our engagement photo shoot, and we got many compliments on ...
the photos. He was flexible and accommodating. The wedding photos were beautiful! We loved getting our photos on a flash drive too. Highly recommended!

at makes Marlon stand out is he truly cares about each couple and their story and he is able to convey that via his pictures. I highly recommend him for your special day.

ed to go with Marlon given the great review from our friend. We had a wonderful time during our engagement photoshoot. He was very fun and easy to work with and even made me feel more relaxed since I'm not as natural as some . Communication was great as well. I'm really happy that we decided to go with Marlon and super excited to see how our wedding photos come out.
Marlon was simply amazing! From the first time my then fiancee and I met him, we immediately felt very comfortable with him and knew we wanted him to be our wedding photographer!

I like Marlon's style, he doesn't just capture photographers but "special moments"...When i received a copy of the photos, I felt like I was at the wedding all over again. The photos came out great and they were so natural...All my relatives and friends were raving about how much they loved our photos. If we could have a wedding all over again we would definitely go with Marlon. He is such a professional and talented photographer and he definitely exceeded all our expectations! I highly recommend him...you will not regret it!!!
Absolutely beautiful. Being the mother of the bride, I did not know what to expect. Marlon made it very easy. He is truly a unique artist who envisions and captures great pictures....
My daughter's engagement shoot was amazing!!! Loved it!!! Marlon is very professional, very friendly, and very easy to work with. You won't be disappointed. Looking at my daughter's face and seeing just how beautiful and happy she is, is priceless to me. And coming from me, it's money well spent. I highly recommend him!
THANK YOU MARLON!!!

on as well. At the end of the night he pulled my husband and I aside to show us some highlights of what he was able to get through out the day. We were blown away. He got some of the most amazing shots of us. Of course some were posed, but some of the best moments were captured when we didn't even realize he was around. I can't recommend him enough. He's a class act, very easy to work with. He listens to what you want, and makes it come to fruition.
Marlon did an epic and very memorable job at our wedding. I have known Marlon for over 10 years and have waited to finally ask him to be our photographer at our wedding. Marlon cap...
tures you in a light that you never knew was inside of you. If you check out his website you will quickly see what I'm talking about. Marlon by no means I would consider a cheap photographer. My Mother in Law paid 3 times what Marlon had invoiced me for the event and received some pretty boring photos from her Wedding Photographer 3 years ago. When we got our Family together to view our Wedding photos last month , they were all blown away just like I was with the results of our Wedding. I can't say enough of what an Amazing job Marlon did for us, his photos will be a part of my families memories for many generations to come. I highly recommend Marlon Taylor and would never use anyone else.
Very accommodating. Marlon was very easy and fun to work with.
Marlon Taylor and his assistant were friendly and willing to work with the hectic schedule of a wedding. They stayed at our event as long as it needed to capture everything. Marl...

he has for photography truly shows up in his work. Our engagement photos turned out amazing. I would have never thought laying in the middle of the street would look so good! Marlon's creativity is out of this world and not only did our photos turn out gorgeous but they also turned out to be one of a kind. On our wedding day Marlon was so easy to work with, even when things got extremely hectic. Our wedding photos, of course, turned out exceptional and to top it off, during dinner Marlon put together a slide show of the ceremony photos for our guests to immediately enjoy. Overall working with Marlon on our Engagement and Wedding photos was a blast. We could not have asked for a better photographer and would definitely work with him for any future events and refer him to our friends and family!"
due to my budget i inquired about Mr. Taylor under the $1000.00 cost bracket(which he's not), and i absolutely loved his work online, and i know it was a great asking price to begi...
n with. i'm just a straight forward person and don't expect miracles... if you can do it, great! thank you & if not, i understand, it is what it is, i work in sales, sometimes you can, sometimes you can't.. BUT JUST BE HONEST!!!! after inquiring i stated i could not do according to his asking price but he said he could work with my request, so we met. After meeting and discussing prices, he agreed to move forward with doing my wedding and the next day, as i was waiting for the contract to be sent to me, all of a sudden late a night as i'm expecting the agreement he changed his mind after confirming with me he would do my wedding. I don't understand how someone can just waist your time and not be honest from the start, especially when it comes to your wedding... i have never written a review in my life!!! but this just really bothered me to the core, and i found him to be unethical and someone who cannot honor his word! i wish him great success, but what he did was not right!
My husband and I are very camera shy people so we were nervous when it came to meeting photogaphers. After talking to Marlon for 10 minutes & seeing his work, I KNEW he was our wed...
ding photographer! Marlon is such a nice guy, who makes you feel at ease and who takes AMAZING AMAZING photos!!! I promise you won't be disappointed! Every single photo was simply breath-taking and I couldn't have chosen a better photographer. THANK YOU SO MUCH MARLON!
Marlon did everything and anything that would make us happy to get the photos we wanted. Our photos were great and he was so accommodating.
We met Marlon through a referral of a friend. We had already met with several photographers, and none of them seemed to cater to us. Either they tried to sell us a "package" or t...
hey told us what we would like. When we first met Marlon, the first thing he did was listen. He came professionally dressed and brought plenty of sample pictures. We took both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures with Marlon, and we could not be happier we made the decision to hire him! The engagement pictures were unique, and always captured the "life" of the moment, not just the standard poses. He would tell us to be ourselves, and you could really see from the photos that we were having a genuine time. The wedding pictures were everything we hoped for. During the wedding, I barely knew Marlon was there (that's a good thing), yet he took hundreds and hundreds of fantastic pictures. He was extremely polite, professional, and his demeanor was always positive and friendly. I received multiple compliments at the wedding how non-intrusive Marlon was when he took the pictures, and they felt very comfortable around him. Another advantage people do not really think about is his height. He is able to shoot over people instead of trying to squeeze in front of people for the best shot. I would definitely recommend him for any type of photo shoot or event, and we plan on using him down the road for family photos.
When the memories of the best night of your life begin to fade, the importance of good photography is priceless. This is why finding the right photographer is one of the most imp...
ortant pieces of your wedding. And, in my opinion, it's not just about finding someone at the right price point or even just the quality of their work that makes them a great photographer. These things are important, yet, they mean nothing if there's not the right fit between you. It's intangible, but you know it when you've found it. It's a feeling of utter ease that come with every snapshot.
Hiring Marlon was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Not only did we receive beautiful pictures at an incredible value, but we got to experience the magic involved in creating a beautiful picture. This can only come from someone with an amazing personality and deep love for what he does. Thankfully, we found this in Marlon.
The best day of my life happened a couple of months ago. No matter how hard I tried to stay in every single moment as long as I could, in the end, it felt like the day passed in the blink of an eye. My memories are just flashes of things that happened that day. But every time I look at one of Marlon's photos, I feel like I get to relieve the best day of my life over again.
There is no reason NOT to contract Marlon for whatever event you are having. He is personable, a fantastic photographer and reasonably priced.

d Marlon was a blast. I couldn't keep track of him, but literally 5 people told me he was all over the place taking pics! So friendly and fun-loving, he fit in with everyone and was probably the third liked person at the reception (besides me and my husband)! He even stayed longer than we agreed upon, making sure he got everything and anything we wanted.
Call him, set up the initial meeting and you will NOT be disappointed. I guaranty it!

ent to sign the contracts he booked our date with another couple. i cannot vouch for the quality of his work, but his professionalism is seriously lacking.

o none. On my wedding day, we were running late and many things did not go as planned....but Marlon rolled with it and the small amount of confusion and chaos did not phase him one bit. He takes amazing photos, this is the first reason I chose him. But he is an extraordinary person and gifted professional. You can definitely not go wrong with him!
He is the best photographer there is! I need someone to work our wedding at a budget and he was there for us. He was easy to get in contact with and is so talented. If we ever need...

taking photos was what I wanted I felt he would be the one to make us Happy. We had Marlon do our Engagement and Wedding photos on time, did extra, made us feel very comfortable, very honest, pleasant and respectable and to top it off I could tell he really loves what he does. Very Please my husband and I would HIGHLY recommend Marlon Taylor as your photographer I know we will use him again for other events. Thank you Marlon

e actually listens to what you want. He made me laugh through my whole wedding. Not only did he take pictures during and before the wedding. While the dinner was going on he set up to my guest could watch a slide show of the pictures he had already taken during the ceremony! I would recommend Marlon Taylor to all my friends and family members or just a person who is looking for an awesome photographer. Very easy to get a hold of and very easy to talk to. My first choice for a photographer and he will forever be my photographer for anything I may need in the future.

urs. Marlon captured all the emotions of the day from the tears, to the laughter, to the "break dancing" on the floor at the reception. Our wedding photos we will treasure always. In addition to our wedding day, we also had an engagement photo session with Marlon. This was a look into the magic Marlon would create. Simply amazing! Finally the icing on the CAKE... Marlon and I had a TRASH the DRESS session. This was a day of such fun! Nothing we wouldn't do for "the shot" that day. The results are breathtaking! If you are interested in seeing any of these photos they are all on my facebook.
If you are looking for a photographer who will care as deeply about making your photos special and memorable as you do, look no further! Marlon has a true gift and you will be truely fortunate to have him capture your precious moments.

y wedding photos. His prices are so affordable and he has many different camera lens he can use to give you the most unique shots. I used him for my engagement party and my wedding. I am still thumbing thru photos trying to decide on my album because there are so many wonderful pics to choose from. I cant wait for our family photos next year. He will always be my family photographer.

e photographs caught my eye. They were candid and photo journalistic. Very artistic too. There are a lot of excellent photographers, but they are either money driven or don't care much about you (especially if you are on a budget). You not only need someone you are comfortable with but someone with a good heart. Marlon is the man. My engagement photos were amazing! During our wedding, he worked non-stop. He wants to make sure you are happy. His fee is very reasonable. The fact that he does not care how long it takes on each session makes him an exception to many of the businesslike photographers I have communicated with. Marlon makes certain he captures every special moment. I highly recommend this photographer. I am confident he has taken great photos of my wedding and still look forward to receiving my album and photos. We are still scheduled for another photo session. With all these complimentary sessions for a great price - who could ask for more?
I enjoyed Marlon very much. He was always professional and listend to what you wanted and always found creative ways to shot memeriable shots. He always was happy and postive. You ...
could never catch him on a bad day. He is very flexiable and his photograhpy quality is beyond expectation. He was never late to any appointment(which was a stress realiver on the big day). He went above and beyound on our wedding day by staying a bit later just to make sure he caught some important moments. I highly reconmend him:) He is great for tight budget weddings
