My Husband and I aren't avid selfie/picture takers ourselves and are unused to being in front of a lens but Marlon made us feel relaxed during both our engagement and wedding photos, and even managed to make two ugly people like ourselves look good for the first time ever.
He is also really dedicated and stayed longer than he was supposed to, just so he could have some time with us at the end of the night to get some key photos he thought we would like.
I'm so grateful we found him and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer.

After tons of searching for a reasonable photographer, we were beginning to think it would be impossible. We came across Marlon's website and saw his work and assumed he would be way out of our price range. However, to our surprise, he was right where we wanted to be interms of pricing.
Since we were having a destination wedding, it meant a lot to us that he was so accommodating and easy to contact when we had questions. He was willing to handle everything via email and phone. He worked with us to come up with a realistic photo schedule so that we could get all of the pictures with family in the most efficient manor possible.
We were very pleased with our engagement photo shoot. To his credit it had to be the coldest day in California and he continued to help us take the best pictures and he was always so positive.
The day of our wedding was hectic but Marlon was very calm and reassured us that we would be fine and he would get us the pictures we wanted. His calm demeanor spoke to his professionalism and the amount of experience he has with weddings. Everyone who met Marlon really liked how professional and friendly he was.
Overall, we very impressed with our photos and we would highly recommend Marlon to anyone getting married in SoCal.

I noticed later on when I was looking at the photos that he really captured some great moments while nobody even realized he was taking photos of them.
I received a full set of all of the photos after he retouched them and edited them in black and white and in full color. I ordered a glass book from him for the photos I selected and it was well worth it. I will definitely use Marlon in the future for any parties I may have.

BUT JUST BE HONEST!!!! after inquiring i stated i could not do according to his asking price but he said he could work with my request, so we met. After meeting and discussing prices, he agreed to move forward with doing my wedding and the next day, as i was waiting for the contract to be sent to me, all of a sudden late a night as i'm expecting the agreement he changed his mind after confirming with me he would do my wedding. We took both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures with Marlon, and we could not be happier we made the decision to hire him! The engagement pictures were unique, and always captured the "life" of the moment, not just the standard poses. He would tell us to be ourselves, and you could really see from the photos that we were having a genuine time. The wedding pictures were everything we hoped for. During the wedding, I barely knew Marlon was there (that's a good thing), yet he took hundreds and hundreds of fantastic pictures. He was extremely polite, professional, and his demeanor was always positive and friendly. I received multiple compliments at the wedding how non-intrusive Marlon was when he took the pictures, and they felt very comfortable around him. Another advantage people do not really think about is his height. He is able to shoot over people instead of trying to squeeze in front of people for the best shot. I would definitely recommend him for any type of photo shoot or event, and we plan on using him down the road for family photos.

e photographs caught my eye. They were candid and photo journalistic. Very artistic too. There are a lot of excellent photographers, but they are either money driven or don't care much about you (especially if you are on a budget). You not only need someone you are comfortable with but someone with a good heart. Marlon is the man. My engagement photos were amazing! During our wedding, he worked non-stop. He wants to make sure you are happy. His fee is very reasonable. The fact that he does not care how long it takes on each session makes him an exception to many of the businesslike photographers I have communicated with. Marlon makes certain he captures every special moment. I highly recommend this photographer.
