I can’t say enough good things about this venue. Besides the fact that it is utterly gorgeous and teeming with picture-perfect backdrops, the family that runs the place is a joy to work with. Deni and her family have put so much love and hard work into their venue to make it a fantastic experience for their guests.
The venue has tons of space and little nooks and crannies for guests to walk around, sit down and socialize (e.g. multiple lounge seating areas throughout), and even space to play (their big lawn is perfect for volleyball, corn hole, or any other lawn games you may wish to bring). We received so many compliments all night long about how cute the whole place was. Also, the Bridal Suite and Groom’s Pub were excellent places to get ready in. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and designed with care. It was simply the perfect wedding venue for a boho, rustic, garden-party style event.
One thing I want to call attention to in case anyone reads older reviews: Maroni Meadows used to only have porta potties for guests, but this spring (2024) they installed a lovely new bathroom (two stalls on each side for men and women). So don’t fret, you will have toilet facilities for your guests!
Also—they do not have a kitchen or any kind of power for anyone but your DJ/music. Take this into consideration when looking for a caterer. I highly recommend choosing one of their preferred caterers that is familiar with the venue’s limitations so that this isn’t an issue. Our caterer (Alexa’s Cafe in Bothell) has worked there many times so it was no problem for us, but something to be aware of.
Deni’s day-of coordination was also well worth it as she made sure we stuck to our timeline and that everything just went smoothly. From all the emails back and forth over many months, to the rehearsal, to everything on the big day, I truly felt like Deni was completely invested in making sure that our day was a success. Not an easy feat when you consider how many weddings they put on each season!
By booking with Maroni Meadows, you have to use their in-house bartending service (run by Deni’s daughter, Rian) called Bottoms Up. Rian is a complete professional and did an excellent job bartending that night, as well as keeping in constant communication for all the little things leading up to the day.
Seriously, if you want a magical wedding day, have your wedding at Maroni Meadows! We are so, SO glad we did.
The venue is full of lush greenery with areas of shady trees, and a large meadow. A beautiful outdoor space. The venue had a “rustic” charm to the decor. There’s quaint little seating areas scattered throughout the venue if you wanted some space away from the crowd.
With that being said –
-The bathrooms are port a potties, seriously
-There is no power, refrigeration, or kitchen facility for the caterer
-It’s an additional $100 for the venue to take care of garbage and $100 if you wanted to use the firepit
-The website and Deni, the venue owner, said the venue can hold 200 people. It did but it was an extremely tight fit.
-The tent coverage for the reception area can hold approx. 160 seats FYI for when it rains like it did on our wedding day — the rest of the guests had to sit in the caterer/ buffet area, away from the rest of us.
-If you wanted to rent one of those “luxury” bathrooms on wheels, the venue does not have power strong enough to generate them (last min, we paid an additional $1000 to the rental company to retrieve and use their own generator despite Deni saying they had power for it and they’ve had rental bathrooms before)
-We hired Deni as our day-of coordinator and she was helpful when she was available but she was MIA once dinner began :(
We voiced some concerns to Deni and in response, her rationale for us complaining is she thinks we went over budget and wanted money lol. No, we were just telling you you didn’t do your job.
Upon first impression, the venue had a friendly mom and pop type of feel but we found out Deni was a little more money oriented than we expected and did the bare minimum for it.
The venue itself is fine but we probably would’ve been happier with another venue.
Such an amazing venue. Maroni Meadows was the perfect venue for our wedding and we would recommend it over and over. Deni was extremely helpful in planning lots of aspects of our wedding and she did an incredible job as the day of coordinator. She was all over the place making sure that our big day went smoothly and everything turned out great. 10/10!
My husband and I had our wedding at Maroni Meadows in September, it was absolutely perfect! Not only is the venue gorgeous, but Deni was amazing to work with! She was very responsive, accommodating and helpful leading up to the wedding and that continued throughout our wedding day. We couldn’t have been happier with our decision to get married at Maroni Meadows. We received many compliments on the venue choice from our guests as well! I would highly recommend Maroni Meadows for anyone searching for an outdoor venue!
We couldn't believe how lucky we were to have found the most perfect venue for our wedding. We really wanted flexibility in our vendors and somewhere that really fit us as a couple. It is all outdoors with some very adorable covered seating areas. Deni takes amazing care of the property as well. She puts so much effort into the landscaping and making it gorgeously green. She has thought of everything down to the tiniest details around the property; I can't express how beautiful it is. Deni is also incredibly accommodating and responsive with our requests. All of our guests were totally blown away this place was and told us many times throughout the night. You will not regret it!
Maroni Meadows was the first and only location we looked at when shopping for a wedding venue. We fell in love immediately and signed a contract on the spot. This is an outdoor venue, but contains a number of covered areas and a tent to protect guests from the sun (or rain). Maroni Meadows is filled with lush greenery, charming gathering areas, rustic covered walkways, and lovely water features. Your wedding photos will be gorgeous.
A couple of logistics to think about: parking is ample (and free) and should accommodate a healthy guest count. We were required to use a specific bartending service, which initially stressed me out, but turned out very well in the end. Also, this is an outdoor venue, with a number of buildings and towering trees to safeguard guests from the elements. Our wedding was at the end of September, and rain was frequently in the forecast. We had a couple of drizzles, but nothing that required rearranging our plans. The venue does have a large number of umbrellas available to guests. There is also a fire pit available for snuggling.
We were able to transform the space however we see fit. Deni was very accommodating and great at communicating the features and limitations of the venue. We even brought in a bounce house to help entertain the children (and some adults!).
The venue is a five acre property that is private and serene. The groomsmen pub is very cool and will offer some fun photos! We received a large number of compliments about the venue from our guests. Many asked how we found Maroni Meadows. For that, I have to thank our photographer, Jenny GG! I would definitely recommend Maroni Meadows to any engaged couple looking for a beautiful and romantic outdoor venue for their wedding day. This is a magical gem.
Maroni Meadows is the most beautiful place to get married!!! The venue has lots of shade, large trees, ponds..it is so enchanting! Deni was so helpful, responsive and a huge part of why our day went so well! All our tables and chairs were set up for us before we got there, and the tent that she has out for the reception is the perfect size. Our rehearsal was included in the price of the venue, Deni helped to run it and made sure we were all ready to go for the big day! The brides and grooms house were wonderful for the both of us and our bridal party to get ready in - they also made for beautiful photos! We had a photo booth and a food truck and still had so much space in the venue for our guests to wonder and roam. The atmosphere of the venue is unlike anything else we saw when we were planning, we had so many compliments on the venue and it was our favorite part of the day!
I could not imagine a more perfect wedding venue. It’s so naturally beautiful we didn’t have to supply ANY decorations. We got compliments all night. The owners are incredible, super fast in responding to questions and worked with us to make sure everything was just how we wanted it. Maroni meadows is highly recommended!
Maroni Meadows was the perfect venue for us. It's an outdoor venue so important to keep that in mind. There is an adorable bridal house and super fun grooms pub for getting ready. If you are looking for an outdoor rustic woodsy venue, I would highly recommend Maroni Meadows. There are so many areas for people to explore and plenty of cover/ shade in case of rain or sun. Deni is amazing and helped with all the details of our wedding and had great recommendations for other vendors to help the day go off without a hitch. I'm so glad that we chose to have our wedding at Maroni Meadows!
Absolutely loved working with Deni and her venue. I fell in love with the photos online and instantly knew it would be perfect. We booked well in advanced and that gave me plenty of time to develop my exact vision for what I wanted for our day.
Gorgeous place with great amenities! Owner also does day of coordination if you choose. Price included all the table and chairs for our 115 person wedding! Bride house was amazing! Boys loved "The Pub" totally worth its price for what you get :)
Deni at Maroni Meadows has been super helpful and flexible getting our wedding booked and set up. They're constantly working towards improving and perfecting their venue, and it shows! The only downside we've experienced is that there isn't electricity available for the caterers, but most are able to work around that, we didn't have any problems.
