One month out from our wedding, and the compliment we're getting most often is how awesome our photographer was and how BEAUTIFUL our photos are. Brenda handled everything with panache and cheer. Plus, she really took the time to "see" Nick and me when we're not the easiest to read. Not only that, she wouldn't settle for anything less than the best for us. At one point, I punted some choices off to my wedding planner because of work deadlines. Brenda could have said, "oh good, this will be easy," but instead she asked first, "Can you trust this person to want what's best for you?" I could, and so she took care of it, trusting me, too. Even when I was hard to reach, ignorant about the wedding process and what the day would be like, and confusing to talk to, she was patient, persistent, and kind. Then, like an absolute champ, she showed up as a single shooter (supported by her wonderful husband) at 6am for our 10am wedding! Brenda kept us on schedule and knew how to command a room when she needed to. Additionally, she got all our pictures back to us in less than a month, and they came on a super convenient online gallery. It has been such a joy to relive the day, and I'm so thankful for the way she captured not only us and formal photos, but also the smiles (and tears!), warm glances, and good vibes of that day. They're exactly how the day felt. Thank you Brenda!!

Great quality of work! After editing, Brenda ended up having close to 1000 photos of the day for us. She provided lots of helpful advice too prior to the event to help us establish the timeline.

Brenda is amazing to work with and takes just as amazing pictures. We had our engagement session and drove around finding fun spots with ending at a field of sunflowers she knew about. I thought those pictures were amazing. Then came the wedding. These pictures are even better and I can't even think of how I'm going to pick just a few for the wall! My husband and I got married in August and had Brenda shoot our day. She drove about 3.5 hours and the photos turned out fabulous. From the beginning, she was very upfront about wanting the day to be focused on us as the couple and I felt that the whole day. She doesn’t have a time limit worked into her rate which was one of the highlights about her when looking for wedding photographers along with her photo style. We were able to capture all the photos on our list plus many family photos that were wanted by our mothers which was great! She also captured several of our guests and the fun that was had. We hired Brenda for our reception in August and the whole process from initial quote to finished photos was very smooth! When we were first getting a quote she took time to learn about us to figure out what we wanted and was very considerate of our non-traditional reception and guests. She had a good variety of suggestions and questions to help us get the photos we wanted, which included a mix of formal and candid shots of our families and friends throughout our event. Brenda was the perfect photographer for our special day. My husband and I are not the most photogenic, and that's putting it mildly, but Brenda was able to capture us and our day with such an attention to detail that we are over-the-moon with our end result. We knew we would be a bit crunched on time to get pictures so we ended up booking an additional bridal shoot (prior to the wedding) to be sure we would have enough. Even with the time crunch the photos completely captured the day and there were way more pictures than I expected! In all honesty, we probably didn't need the extra bridal shoot, but the wedding pictures turned out so well that there's no way I can regret having even more Marque photos. It’s actually hard to express in words how impressed my wife and I were with Brenda. She was an absolute delight to work with. Brenda was absolutely phenomenal. We were her first same-sex couple that she’d worked with, and from the start she was nothing but professional. It was supposed to rain all day of our wedding (which was outdoors) and she was incredibly flexible with a last minute ceremony site change when it didn’t rain, as well as dealing with the rain that did come immediately after our ceremony.
