s thing down to a science, but NOT in a pushy way. He let us take control of the music through an app and stepped in when we needed his help. Tyson was a huge help in making our wedding successful and always kept the dance floor popping.

Tyson from Marquee Events is hands down the best DJ! We had the opportunity to meet with Tyson at the Wedding Show in Des Moines and after a chat we were confident in choosing him ...
for our big day. Leading up to the wedding Tyson provided us with a mobile app where we could piece together all our music requests. It was super easy & helpful! We then met with Tyson a few weeks prior to the wedding to review our selections and ensure we were on the same page for each part of the reception. On the day of the event, Tyson was extremely professional. He kept the entire evening running smoothly - from cocktail hour to the last dance. The dance floor was lively all night! Tyson truly made the evening so fun and special. Following our wedding, we received so many compliments on our DJ! I would highly recommend Tyson and Marquee Events for your wedding!

traightforward and timely in his communication, and took all our requests and rolled with them. The mobile app he uses to help couples plan and select songs was an awesome bonus!
After our wedding we received so many compliments and positives words about our DJ! I would highly recommend Tyson and Marquee Events for your wedding... especially if you are wanting a professional set up, and a busy, fun dance floor!

his stunningly professional DJ setup, but knew he was our top DJ choice when we got to chat with him. He truly wants to get to know you to help make your wedding day unforgettable, and he did just that. He’s professional, down to earth, and truly cares about his art and his clients. We didn’t have a wedding planner, yet Tyson knew, from his years of experience, how to keep the day organized and moving, from pre-ceremony music all the way to the end of the reception. He made our wedding day so much fun, yet he made the months of planning leading up to the wedding easy and stress-free. We will continue to recommend Tyson and Marquee Events to our friends!

ere going about our schedule. Prior to our wedding, we had multiple meetings and he helped us through our entire day from getting ready to our grand exit, along with making us think about small details that we wouldn't have previously thought about. He also respected all of our wishes for the day to make it exactly what we wanted it to be plus some. He is extremely professional and made our event exactly what we wanted it to be, a party!

party going all night long! I was impressed how beautiful his DJ booth looked and went along with the esthetic of our wedding venue. The indoor sparklers, monogram lighting, CO2 blasts, and hedge wall for photo opportunities definitely enhanced our guests experience! Everything was well worth the investment!

and respect, always making sure to have a clear understanding of what his clients want. He made the evening so fun and memorable for all of our guests. I recommend Marquee Events to any wedding couple looking for a DJ with a proven record of experience, knowledge, and professionalism (and fun "extras")!

in such a short time!
We met with Tyson initially via zoom since we no longer live in the Des Moines area. He took the time to explain how important the right dj is for your wedding and answered all of our questions we had. He uses an app to help keep organized on which songs we wanted played when. His setup is so elegant and blended in beautifully with our venue. In the end everything went absolutely perfect. We 10/10 recommend Marquee Events!
Beyond amazing to work with, definitely kind and respectful and had a wonderful playlist! It was quite the party, and we had so much fun.
10/10 recommend. Would hire again!

ue coordinator to make sure I could use the cold sparks. Tyson is very professional, responsive to all inquiries throughout the process, and has an easy to use app to collaborate. Day of he was at the venue early setting up and checking in. His set up EXCEEDED my expectations. The lights he used throughout the venue were the addition I didn't know I needed. Tyson kept the dance floor packed throughout the evening with a playlist that is still being raved about! If you want an epic party Marquee Events is you DJ!

rvice was better than anything we could've imagined. He kept us on track with our song lists weeks before the wedding, graciously provided clear direction to our slightly unruly wedding party, and seamlessly made last minute adjustments to our order of events when we had a change of plans. We had a lot of audio and video incorporated in our reception as well and he assisted tremendously with all of that. He took time to coordinate with our other vendors as well! I truly can't speak more highly of Marquee Events. It felt like we were his only clients with how much time and energy he spent making sure we felt good going into our day. Marquee Events is luxury set up AND luxury service, I can't recommend Tyson enough!

sure the dance floor and speakers were set up perfectly. His equipment is super nice and aesthetically pleasing, and he nailed the lighting. As for the music, the dance floor was packed the entire night--we couldn't ask for anything more! We felt completely at ease knowing Tyson was handling the music and lighting, and he did not let us down whatsoever. He really thought of everything and the night went so smoothly. All in all, Tyson helped make our wedding so much fun!! Cannot recommend Marquee Events enough for weddings in the Des Moines area.

ing our wedding, he kept ensuring my husband and I knew what was coming up next and made sure that everything was executed smoothly. His equipment is top notch and does not look like something that came out of a college party. I highly recommend Tyson and Marquee Events to anyone!

Not to mention how he knew exactly what to play to get our family moving and dancing all night long! His set up was completely professional and even included lights to help set the mood even further. Look no further for a DJ, Tyson is the man for the job. Thank you Tyson for being a part of our big day :)

Tyson was awesome to work with, and super helpful in determining those little details that we weren't sure what to do.

he had the correct timeline, what type of music we wanted at the beginning when guests arrived and towards the end of the night. We wanted fun, upbeat music throughout the night and HE DELIVERED!! EVERYONE was up on their feet dancing for hours and he made our experience so magical. He also offered fun enhancements that we used such as LED party wands and cold spark fountains that brought an extra something special to our night. I couldn't recommend him enough!!

knew exactly what he was doing, was able to handle speakers and singers at the ceremony and then DJ a dance that kept people on the dancefloor later. His equipment setup was the best I've seen at any event, and I also highly suggest some of the add-ons to really get the party going!
We've been filling the dance floor for couples for years but are new to The Knot with a new company brand. We look forward to earning your BEST WEDDING EVER! reviews.
