Let me just say, Marquee is the best wedding band out there.
They had people who don’t dance, dancing! All. Night. Long. I personally probably burned more calories dancing/jumping than in any of my weekly workout classes.
The atmosphere they created was electric and we couldn't have asked for a better group to perform for our 240 wedding guests. From the piano playing in the main lobby, to the ceremony music, cocktail hour and even our very last song (Mr. Brightside), they were nothing short of phenomenal. The way they seamlessly blended different genres and kept the energy high was impressive. It was evident that each band member poured their heart and soul into every song and it was so fun to be involved in some of it up front with them!
We appreciate the miles they went to ensure the music was tailored to our tastes and of course the extra miles they drove to get to our wedding venue in Bergen County. Someone looked at me and said “this is the best band I’ve ever heard before” and I proudly said “they came from south Jersey”
Their talent, professionalism, and enthusiasm were top notch - we'll never forget it. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had them as our wedding band, and will cherish the moments they helped create for a lifetime.

hat is exactly what Marquee did. They nailed each and everyone one of our special requests. My family is huge live music fans and they lived up to the role. From our first dances to the extra hour of reception we added on, Marquee was on point. They had everyone dancing or enjoying from a distance. They are a great group of people to work with! on how much they loved the band at our wedding, and so many guests commented about how they had never seen so many guests on the dance floor, which we truly feel was due to the talent of Marquee! They were so easy to work with and provided a tailored service for us, asking all of the right questions to ensure we had the experience we wanted and making changes based on what we wanted along the way. The band truly knew how to read the crowd and knew exactly what to play to get everyone on the dance floor. They were incredible during cocktail hour, dinner, and after dinner when they really got the energy up! Additionally, they learned several songs just for our wedding, including creating a customized version of our first dance song for us (as we wanted an acoustic version of a rock song) and learning a song that was very special to my family. We truly believe Marquee is the best wedding band out there and are so happy we were able to meet and work with them - they really made the wedding day!

The band was incredible - we actually had people googling them during dinner to find out more info. I think we received more compliments on them than anything else.
Don't even look any further for any other band - you will not go wrong hiring Marquee!

I can't thank them enough for making mine and my husband's day unforgettable. We were completely blown away by the band and all of their talents. Everything was perfect, from the big things to the smallest details. The band catered to the crowd so well—I took a moment to sit and look, and it was the best feeling to see everyone together dancing to the best live band I have ever heard.
Karl and Marquee went above and beyond for us, and even learned our entrance song for our reception. I also had a few very special requests (song dedications, calling up family members for songs), and they accommodated each and every one. They knew what each age group wanted to hear, and got everyone involved. They even went out on the dance floor to let the younger crowd sing. Heck, they let my cousin, who is a singer, step in and sing with the band!
Everything was perfect. I can't thank them enough. Their energy was contagious, and I'm thrilled to recommend them. If you hire Marquee, you'll hire true talent and experience live entertainment at its best.

o, they were really accommodating with our budget. Our only qualms were that we asked for our first dance song to be cut to 90 seconds, but it went the whole time creating some awkward moments, and our MC, who was a friend, did not have positive feedback while coordinating with the band to decide when, how and who would speak at each break. Other than that, they were excellent to work with and I would definitely use them again for a future event.

Marquee played my sister's wedding 10 years ago, so I knew they could really throw down a good party. I wanted people dancing from start to finish and Marquee got the job done.

as perfect. Every request was met and the band exceeded our expectations by learning new songs requested by the bride & groom..........and they nailed them! The dance floor was filled the entire evening and the selections chosen suited every age bracket. Karl and the Band truly "read" the crowd perfectly and nobody wanted to see the night end. wedding. We knew right away that they would do an
amazing job, but every expectation that we had was
exceeded. From the start, Karl, the band leader, was great
to work with and responsive to all of our special requests. Our reception was at the Loews Hotel in Philadelphia, and the band kept the dance floor packed the entire night and
every single guest commented about how great they were
and could not believe their range. They played oldies,
classics, and tons of current songs. Marquee also has a
DJ/MC who makes sure that everything stays on schedule
(introductions, first dances, cake cutting, bouquet and garter toss) and keeps the party going and plays requests
during breaks. You will not be disappointed if you choose
Marquee, trust us. We are convinced they are the best
wedding band anywhere.

I would beg to differ about the 'steep' price stated in the previous review; I found the price to be quite the contrary compared to other bands we were looking into. Marquee most certainly exceeded our expectations, and we couldn't have been happier about the outcome!
